I've always gone to the Benefit Brow Bar at Macy's but unfortunately they're closed now. I decided to try Ultas brow bar on Thursday afternoon and I was pretty disappointed. Macy's always mapped your brows before waxing and they didn't do that here. Everything felt rushed and too much was taken off the left eyebrow. They look very uneven. I won't be returning. read more

Evergreen Park, IL I went to this location twice for my eyebrows. After my first service, the area around my eyebrows and forehead were red. I thought I was just sensitive to the products being used. The second (and last!) service again my skin hot and red. I wore makeup later that evening to an event. When I removed my makeup, turns out, a layer of skin was gone! She burned my skin in several places. Thank God for Aloe Vera plaints, which helped heal my skin several days later. read more

I had the brow wax and tint done by Dionna. I have always done my brows myself or on occasion have had them done at a hair salon. My brows are naturally on the light side and as I have gotten older I realized how much giving them a little extra definition makes me appear more "awake". She was fabulous and took her time (the appt was about a half hour) although it felt quick because she was so pleasant to talk to. She reshaped my arch and tinted them the perfect color which saves me the trouble of having to fill them in. read more

I am very picky about my eye brows and keeping them full and even. One of them goes in a very odd direction which almost everyone struggles with when doing my brows. Dionna however has given me perfect shape as well as matched both my brows. I have been going to her for at least 2 years now if not more and never have been more satisfied than sitting in her chair, and best of all she tints the brows and covers the redness post wax. read more

Gina did a fantastic job on my brows. I like to keep my brows thick so Gina listened to me and kept them full. She did an arch analysis since it was my first time and it made a big difference. This Ulta has gone downhill. I walked in the other day after several months and was very surprised at the lax customer service. The brow bar was super packed and I overheard a woman complaining that she was still waiting for her appointment, 45 minutes later. The store was dirty and although there were several employees on the floor, no one really seemed to want to help or answer questions. I miss Rachel, who used to work at the Brow bar. She was always so helpful and professional and she is amazing at brows. I recently found out she's at The Beauty Mark on Main Street in Broad Brook. First time at a Ulta Brow Bar, and I was so happy with the results! Gina gave me a total brow makeover with a tint and wax, and it turned out exactly as I wanted. I have very light blonde eyebrows and have had some bad experiences at other salons in the past with dark tints, but she really listened to what I wanted and gave me the exact shade I was hoping for. The worst experience ever...the waxer at the benefit bar burned my eyebrows so severely. She had absolutely no idea what she was doing, you can never wax over an area you just waxed. Its a nightmare. Something needs to change. :( read more

I used to love getting my eyebrows down by Dianna. She kept them full and never thinned them out much. Tried out Ian today since Dianna is no longer there and I told him that I like them to keep them full and thick. He thinned them out more than I have ever had them before and I'm extremely disappointed. The more I look at them the more upset I get. Never returning to location, will stick to tweezing from now on. read more

Amazing! I had my brows done by Gina, and I have never been more satisfied with them. She was so welcoming, shaped my brows exactly how I wanted them, and even filled them in after! The session didn't end for another few minutes, because she put a concealer, hoola bronzer and a high beam highlighter on my face. I loved it all so much, I ended up buying it!
