As I said, I have been going to Ani for brow shaping and event makeup for years, she did my makeup for my engagement photos and my wedding. Ani's team took such good care of my bridal party, they all looked like they were going to a red carpet event. Now that she has gone out on her own it is on a whole new level. The salon is gorgeous, it would fit in with any salon here in NYC. I have gone to both Ashely and Briana for brows and makeup as well and as they have been trained by Ani and they are just as fabulous too. In her new salon, Ani has just introduced spray tanning and skin care services to her menu. With this long and cold winter my skin had been looking drab and dull and I thought for a facial and peel for $150 I can't loose. My peel was scheduled with Briana and all I have to say is WOW! The facial included an apple stem peel with 2 masks and serums. During the peel I listened to relaxing music and received a killer hand massage. I have had several chemical peels in my day, I guess you could say I am a bit of a connoisseur. This peel is on the lighter side and I have not experienced any peeling, so there is not 1 minute of downtime. No downtime - all results! Being in town from NYC I met with 2 friends for dinner right after my peel. They were raving about how soft my skin felt and how much my skin was glowing. The next day I had brunch with another friend and my skin looked so good I only put concealer on under my eyes and some mascara, my skin was on full display! I had 3 women ask me what foundation I was wearing throughout the day. If that isn't the best compliment, I don't know what is. She is superb, an artist. Yes, the services are expensive and for me: totally money very well spent. I receive partial highlights about twice a year. Kelly has never attempted to "sell" me on additional services. In fact, she has encouraged me NOT to highlight that often and instructed on the proper method to maintain the highlights. Her expertise in cutting is beyond what I have received in the past: I have had my hair cut in Paris (David Mallett), New York City-(Ric Pipino, Heidi Klum's ex-husband) and in Greenwich Connecticut-just some places and all very high end. The David Witchell salon and Kelly are outstanding and just as good, if not better than I've experienced before. Every cut that I've had (Kelly) grows in so well. The true sign of a great cut is how well your hair looks in the 6th week (yes, I can go that long between cuts!). I am often asked by strangers, where I get my hair done-always a compliment. Regarding the reviews about the front desk-I have not experienced rudeness at all. I note that many of the reviews about front desk attitude, occurred around Covid times, so maybe folks were on edge about that? I give folks the benefit of the doubt and a lot of grace.
