I really hate writing reviews but my daughters visit was not ok. This was only her second time getting waxed and had a terrible Experience. First of all Celia was very nice and friendly, but that's where it ends. I started noticing her application of the wax was pretty messy, she looked like she didn't know what she was doing. She kept waxing the same spot over and over and the way she would pull the wax strips screamed inexperienced. I noticed kind of late she had ripped pieces of my daughter's skin. She starts high school in a few days and now she will start high school With scabs on her face. Please think twice About it. read more

I went to Edwin (?) instead and he did a great job and he smelled really well. He even put on some eye makeup and fixed my foundation/blush afterwards which equals good customer service in my book. read more

I went in today (first time shopping here) looking for new products for my eyebrows as I know they specialize in eyebrows here. So I walked up to look at some products (I did not know what I was looking at) and right away a girl came to help me. She showed me the products and put them on both my eyes and I fell in love! I ended up buying the "they're real" mascara and eyeliner plus the products for my brows and the brush to apply it with. I had no idea they did eyebrow tint and the girl gave me all the info and recommended Danielle. Since coming to the Benefit Brow Bar, I have never returned to another nail salon for my eyebrows. The gals actually map your eyebrows to ensure they are doing the perfect shape. Waxing usually hurts but since the strips they use are smaller and they are more careful on shaping your bows it seems not to hurt as much. Depending on who you get, they will fill your brows in, if they don't offer it, make sure and ask. Yeah, the price is a bit steep but the care and the time they spend on your brows are well worth the money. read more

Thankful to have met Bertha! I normally get my eyebrows threaded and each time I've been going they somehow have been getting thinner and thinner from what I've asked for (clean up only)! The girls there are very rude and very stuck up they have bad attitudes and act very catty! I Over heard one of the girls talking about her Co worker and how she was a b*&$! I think it's very unprofessional! Keep to yourself on how you feel about your Co worker don't bad mouth them in front of customers. &just because you work at a make up department doesn't mean you can act rude to customers and make them feel like they are dumb about make up. Half the girls that work there look like they are training to be drag queens!! I get much nicer service at M.A.C. then I would here and M.A.C isn't the greatest so that should tell you alot! Ive been coming to sathina for well over a year, and she is such an awesome esthetician! every time i come get my eyebrows done i always leave happy. I have a weird skin reaction to waxing and threading, she is the only one who i know that can tweeze brows and they look as clean as them being waxed!
