The service is amazing. They go over and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable, and at ease. Always making sure the size I want is correct, color suggestions for me I show her what color/design I want and Hannah shows me cuter colors and does design over and beyond. Upon entering, I asked the price for a hard gel manicure and was quoted $45 and up depending on the length. The nail tech, Lan, removed the hard gel polish from the previous manicure and filed the nails and was getting ready to polish my nails. I stopped her and told her you're skipping removing my cuticles. She asked, "Oh, you want them removed?" To which I replied, "Yes, of course, that's part of the manicure." She gave me a look and began speaking in Thai to the guy at the front desk. As you can see, my nails remained short, they look like a normal hard gel manicure, no design nor special requests. When I got to the counter the guy charged $70! I reminded him what I asked for, what he quoted me, and what I got. He went on to tell me that gel polish is an extra price of $15 and is not included in a hard gel manicure, although that is on the name of the services and is always included in every place. He went on to tell me that the removal of cuticles, meaning a basic manicure is not included in a hard gel manicure and that is an extra $5. Additionally, he changed an extra $5 for the polish remover from my old manicure. This brining my new total to $70 (see receipt attached). Again, I tried reasoning with the guy at the counter and reminded him of what I asked for, what I was quoted, and the services I received expecting he would realize that he had made an error. He instead said the price is correct-and repeated that the balance is $70. I told him, that I would p+ay for the services because the services were done, however feel that they purposely and in bad faith quote you a price and then raise it by almost double by charging a-la- cart for services, that every other nail shop always includes as part of the their basic services. Every other places charged $40-$45 for the services, which included all basic services mentioned above and that was excepting. Everyone who has gotten a manicure knows what is included in basic services and it was not a misunderstanding. Shame on them. Be weary of this shady place. read more

I usually go to their other location which I love because they really imitate the inspo pics but this location disappointed me. She cut me twice, the French tip is rather round and fat instead of slim like the picture and the glitter is orange. When I complained they offered no refund and were going to charge me $45 for a new French tip & $25 for one solid color. It was $135, why would I pay extra for nails I didn't like in the first place ? If she would have just offered a small discount it would have been fine but they wanted to charge me MORE to fix them. read more

I've been searching for a "go-to" salon and it's been rough for your girl! The last time I had a favorite spot was back in 2015. I'm not super picky about salons either, I only have two requirements: 1. Clean (including using sterile tools) 2. Nails last a normal amount of time And sadly, a lot of salons could not pass my two dealbreakers. Until I found Tick Tick! What caught my attention was their use of sterilized tools that come in their own packaging! So I tried them out and wow was I pleased. I got just a pedi my first visit and was happy to see the little packaged tools being opened in-front of me. The technician did an excellent job cutting and cleaning my nails (: So I went back a second time but needed to get both a mani and pedi for a wedding. Wow! I just want to say these technicians have great attention to detail and my nails last so long!! I don't get anything fancy, just basic gel and my gosh my nails can last a month! My current nails are over a month haha (they look crazy but no chips or annoying peeling round the edges. You know what I'm talking about, when you run your fingers through your hair and it gets caught on your gel polish.. ugh.) That was how I knew this is my spot! Some other perks I like about this place: 1. Quiet 2. Friendly staff 3. Can schedule online 4. I've seen them do designs and they look great! 5. I've been coming for about 4 months now. This is for pedicure only. All the girls are great but if you're going for a specific design Teri is your girl. Every single time I've came she's nailed the design. I usually get the signature pedicure which includes callus treatment, predi in a box with sugar scrub, mask, & 6 min massage. Listen, there are a bunch is nail salons in that shopping center & I used to go to 2 of them but the quality of service has gone down and they make walk ins difficult from a 20 to 45 min wait. The salon is fairly new and clean. The ladies always ask if the water temp is too hot or cold & always ask if I want my nails cut. Their prices are comparable to those of the same center. Parking is horrible. I recommend parking across where CVS is at or use the centers parking structure. I'll definitely be back. This time around I asked Teri for a Colobri design. I promise you they can do your design. Worst they can say is no. read more

I recently had gotten toe surgery where they had to removed both of my two big toe nails! Ouch! Worse of all is that as my nail grew back again, my toe nail was now growing towards the inside which was causing me so much pain to walk or wear shoes. Skeptical about getting fungus in a place like this, about being the only guy in front of a room full of ladies, and not to mentioned the pain I was going to go through by someone touching my painful toes, I decided to give this place a try. Now you see, I wasn't going there for a "relaxation" day at the spa! Definitely not! I was nervous and trembling because I'm a guy who is scared of needles and pointing tips cutting me through my skin! Yet, the pain I was feeling with every step I took forced me to look for help at a place like this. To my surprise, when I got there I was treated with respect and no judgement and felt welcomed. I showed up without an appointment and they were nice enough to accommodate me. I was helped about 30 minutes after arriving. Once seated, I told the lady that helped me that I was super nervous and I was having so much pain so to please be gentle with my toe. The lady just gave me a smile and she understood what I was going through. She was so gentle that I had forgotten how nervous and scared I was. Before I knew it, she had removed all of the extra nail that was already causing my skin to bruise. Once she removed the excess nail that was causing me pain, I immediately felt the relief on my toe. She knew my toe was very sensitive because of the pain I had gone through so she was very gentle through the pedicure. After trimming my nails beautifully, cleaning it from all sides, cutting them nicely in a U-shape, she continued to pamper my foot by putting me some sugar scrub leaving my feet feeling soft and clean! I walked out of that place free of pain! I was finally able to walk and wear shoes back again with no pain whatsoever. I'll definitely be coming back here! Plus the prices are very reasonable. So glad I made the trip to see Terry at the new tick-tick time nails location! My appointment was made over the phone and when I arrived I was quickly seated for my mani and pedi. The new location has comfortable new massage chairs and so many nail colors to choose from; parking was also very convenient because of the structure located there. Ive never left a negative review but there is a first for everything. I made an appt for today, Wednesday at 6pm for my daughter. Got here at 6, told the ladies I had an appt at 6. No acknowledgement just blank stares. Sat down and waiting. Continued waiting for almost an hour. When they finally sat my daughter down by the table to start, another 5 minutes passed and no one approached her. At this point I walked out with my daughter and wont ever come back. Customer service is for sure lacking and if they cant accommodate walk-in when they have those with appt waiting then it should be a walk-in service base. Do not waste peoples time.
