Amy is the absolute best! I've been getting my eyebrows waxed at benefit for several years and I've had a few people do my eyebrows but Amy is the best by far, I've been going to her for about 3 years now. She does my brows perfectly every time and is always introducing me to all the new products that come out and asks if I need to stock up anything while I'm there. People are always complimenting my eyebrows and asking where I get them done and I've recommended her to everyone who asks. I even have a few friends that have become regular clients of hers. All my prior experiences with Benefits Brow Bar over the course of several years have been positive. The staff of the other Benefits stores that I've patronized had highly skilled and a professional staff that seemed to take great care in doing brows. Unfortunately, my experience with the Temecula Benefits Brow Bar at Macy's was not been the same. I'm not one to blast a business or person and actually feel quite uncomfortable doing so. In fact, I've written numerous letters congratulating people and businesses for any service that was above and beyond because I believe in spreading the good news and deeds of those businesses and people that truly care about the service they provide. However, in this situation with this particular Benefits Brow Bar in Temecula the opposite is true. I feel it is important to let others know about not only the extremely poor service I received there, but also how badly my brows were messed up to the point that HALF MY BROW ON THE LEFT SIDE IS GONE!! I have before and after pictures to prove it. The really sad thing is I told the person doing them, beforehand, that my brows don't grow back and reiterated several times that I want to KEEP WHAT I HAVE for this very reason. In addition to this huge mistake, this store doesn't return calls left on answering machines, doesn't answer phones on a regular basis although the claim is being too busy despite the fact that twice I've gone in and they are standing around talking, nor do they call you to let you know that the person you have an appt. with called off sick. I guess a customer's preference and time are not important factors. All of these things happened to me with this store not to mention the less than positive attitudes I've encountered and have witnessed with others when I was there. The last person to do my brows, my second and final experience, was the ultimate ice queen and obviously didn't care that she took off 1/2 of my brow! She was not the person I was scheduled to see but one I had to see if I wanted my brows done that day because the store manager and staff never bothered to call me to let me know the person I did have an appt. with called in sick. It seems management doesn't realize nor understand that people schedule appts. with a particular person for a reason Anyway, I mistakenly allowed her to do my brows because of past great experiences I had with other Benefit stores and my belief that Benefits staffs its stores with only highly trained professionals. Needless to say, I was wrong! In regard to the incident of taking off 1/2 my brow, I pointed it out to the esthetician and she said "it was the lighting" and I was foolish enough to believe her in my nievety. She filled in my brows, and yes that looked great, and it wasn't until I was home that evening and removed the makeup under great light that I saw the HUGE mistake. My husband looked at my brows and he was shocked! This is uncommon for a guy that doesn't notice much in the way of hair, brows etc. As women, our hair and faces are big deals and I feel like I look like an ALIEN on one side of my face and cried much of the night because I know there is a chance that my brows won't grow back. My husband proceeded to call the store at that moment and left a message with the person working at the time, yes they actually answered the phone, and asked for the manager. She wasn't available, nothing new there either because I'd asked for her during my last visit to complain about the phone situation when I was in for my appt. and she was no where to be found. I later learned I was given the wrong person's name as manager in order to prevent me from getting my complaint heard by the actual manger. In regard to the situation with my brow I still have heard from a single person because she never bothered calling back! Any professional manager knows to call an unhappy customer immediately to rectify a problem and save the reputation of a business. Given this wasn't done speaks volumes about the stores customer service. If you are a woman lucky enough to have beautiful brows you cherish or want to keep looking good or realize how brows can make or break the look of your face this isn't the place to go!!! Save yourself the distress that I'm going through now by not exposing your brows to this less than inferior Benefits Brow Bar. It is a gamble at this store with a high risk. read more

Came in just yesterday and Monique did a FANTASTIC job with my unruly eyebrows! She also put a little concealer on and filled them in!

Was shopping for foundation and eye concealer. Monika was great! She had great product knowledge and provided many options. I will go back to see her. Excellent customer service. I have been there before and many of the sales associates act caddy, but for this gal I will go back again. read more
