The service I received was second to none! My past two experiences have made me a loyal customer. I recently went in with my wife to get a funeral arrangement. We spoke to Nancy who didn't just come ask us what we wanted, but rather talked to us a bit and made us feel very comfortable. She then asked about what we were looking for so she could recommend the right arrangement. After she listened to what it was we were looking for, she told us she would put something together, and recommended a ribbon to add to the arrangement. When we arrived at the funeral and saw how beautiful the arrangement was it was more than I had ever expected. The ribbon that she had recommended was a beautiful addition that made the whole thing just come together. On another visit, I had come here after leaving a competitor who laughed at my request for a corsage I need the next day for my daughter. When I arrived at Beneva flowers, I expected to have to pick from some pre-made corsages as it was now 4pm on a Friday. I was ecstatic when they said I could order what ever I wanted and they would have it ready the next morning! When I showed them a picture of the dress, a small add-on was recommended in a matching wrist strap. When I picked it up the next morning my daughter absolutely loved it, it made her day! Last week was my sister's 65 birthday. The month before was her husband's 65 birthday. Since it was a milestone birthday, my husband and I wanted to do something very special for them. Just got back from my cousin's wedding where I had to say, this flower shop was just plain over the top. The designs and the service were to be commended. First, we had 2 more members decide to join us last minute and while the flowers were dropped off and we mentioned it, they called into the shop and had another van on it's way with the additional corsages within 30 minutes. The designs. My cousin was concerned about price and she said what she ended up getting was almost double what she expected. These guys really put out a quality product and the price was more than fair. She was price shopping and many people over promised just to get her to sign, Beneva was the most professional and when we saw what we got, it was clear why they are voted #1. This is my first Yelp review as I just felt they deserved it and when we thanked them, they simply asked that we share our story and I am. It is the least we can do. Our family had suffered a terrible loss when my 49 y/o ex-husband of 15 years and father of three boys, two teenaged and one young adult, passed away. I had ordered a spray for the service and the morning before I was emailed that they could not provide the order on time. Naturally I was frantic. Wedding Flowers, breathtaking! I was in a wedding this weekend and my friend, (The Bride) ended up wanting the best and selected Beneva. Clearly, this company is truly the real deal. The flowers were so fresh and the amounts used were way more than expected. They were so honest. They did not play games and delivered on all promises. Beneva did the flowers for my wedding and it was amazing! They executed my vision for flowers for my wedding perfectly. They put flowers up on an arbor my husband made for our ceremony and filled rustic barrels full of baby's breath. The centerpieces were incredible, lush and fit seamlessly with our theme. They did what they could to keep cost down and went above and beyond. Their designer, Laura helped me purchase the centerpiece boxes that would work well and provided little special touches throughout the evening that made it that much more special. They do beautiful arrangements but I did order some flowers twice in October that the delivery was not the best. One delivery was left at a door out in this heat - when my friend got them for her birthday they had been outside for hours. The other delivery was done later than we had anticipated. Again, I like their work, but they need more delivery help during the day. or maybe call first before delivery. One other small thing (but I thought it was silly) a card is placed in the flowers ruining the look saying your arrangement was designed by so and so at Beneva Flowers. Who cares? just seemed like advertising placed in the bouquet I ordered. Didn't like that. read more

I cant tell you how appreciative we are to have Beneva Flowers donate all the hundreds of carnations to the Suncoast Super Boat Grand Prix "Finz Finds Freedom Ride" for Patriot Plaza at Sarasota's National Cemetery. There is no question that Beneva Flowers is the best in the area... probably in the entire state! Their shop is huge (a lot bigger than it looks from the outside), and they had a plaque displayed that says they're in the top 50 florists in the nation, and I can see exactly why. They offer *anything* in your price range, they have a huge selection of gorgeous flowers, along with gift baskets, gourmet baskets, stuffed animals, etc. OH and I used their floralapp last time I ordered, and they gave me 10% off my order. There was a small problem in the beginning with the flowers delivered however, they reached out instantly when they discovered I was unhappy and offered to rectify the situation.
