There was a small amount of custard in the cake part, while the top was dark chocolate frosting. We've had far better versions of this flavor cupcake in the past. The next night, we tried the caramel coffee one. It had a vanilla cake, which was on the dry side. However, the frosting was the star of the show. The coffee and the caramel flavors were noticeable.
