I've ordered from this place a total of THREE times. The first time, I assumed they were closing and instead of giving me what I ordered, gave me a completely different order. But I've tried this same order TWICE, and I will say....it's GOOD. I ordered the duck chow mein and it's VERY plentiful. I can't blame the restaurant for the food spills (Uber do better!!!) but this food SLAPS! You definitely get what you pay for (IN MY OPINION)

This is what they charged me over $20 for, the curry goat. I can't believe this. That is a 16-ounce container.

Was on Liberty Ave and in the mood for some fried rice and found this spot. I got the chicken fried rice and jerk chicken fried rice, which both were good. The jerk chicken is actually jerk and not BBQ like some other places and Spicy too! The food was a bit salty at first but it seems to adjust afterwards. I will definitely check them out again for other dishes! read more

First time ordering from Beni's. I ordered delivery which came quickly through Uber Eats. I ordered shrimp wantons, Chinese fried chicken, and chicken Lo Mein. Shrimp wantons was delicious and perfectly filled with shrimp. Chicken was seasoned just perfectly, Lo Mein had lots of fresh veggies. I would definitely trust other dishes from here. read more

FEMALES DO NOT GO ALONE Bartenders are always high That's why their only customers are male Read other reviews. This establishment has been around for a quit a long time. Unfortunately they have lost a lot of values. A friend of mine was currently drugged had their phone missing for two weeks. Everytime my friend went back to the establishment they apparently did not know what had happened even there were two people at the bar. Until they contacted the police and went to the bar job and home. The phone has magically appeared after two weeks of tracking the phone and had a phone number and reward on the screen. read more

I just ordered through Ubereats. I ordered the goat curry and they gave me the smallest portion and charged me over $20 for it, a 16-ounce container that isn't even close to being full. It's extremely insulting and they should've canceled my order instead of stealing my money. read more

Hey ,this place is one of a kind, at first i thought it was one boring bar/ restourant, well it is all about the atmosphere, is just family like, but ther is time you can get some minor confrontation , with a drunk who do not know when its enough, that a norm in any bar. there food is off the hook, strickle west indian style chinese,and now there is rumor they are expanding with a family retourant on site, with some new dishes, can't wait to check it out.. read more

It seems like this place has been open forever judging by the review below me from 2007. Most restaurants quality declines over time but I just started ordering from here and I love it!! My favorite is the chicken fried rice - the chicken is delicious and I normally don't eat chicken. The shrimp fried rice is also really good. They never cheap you on the shrimp either. I've never been inside the restaurant (I normally send my husband) so I can't give a review on their customer service or crowd but the food is amazing. So worth the trip. read more

Probably one of the best Caribbean food spots in the area! Have been coming here for years and the food is always fresh and delicious. I recommend take out especially on the weekends, this is mostly a bar type environment not a casual dinner place. read more

Still as good as I remember, food quality and quantity has not diminished. Great prices for a great meal. Love the Guyanese Style chicken fried rice :) Been going to this place since it opened almost 15 years now. Owner is respectful and staff do their best to insure great customer service... If you're waiting for your meal, have a drink at the bar...They have daily drink specials as well! Beni's is the best around. read more

Why did I wait so long to come here?!…read more I mean, I know why. It's a bit of a trek from where I live. But I'll happily travel for good food, and Trinciti absolutely justified the journey. As an Indian, I don't say this lightly. I know my Indian food. I was already aware of the historical overlap between Indian and Caribbean cuisines, but Trinidadian food fascinated me. The familiar spices and flavors are there, yet they've evolved into something entirely their own. You can taste the migration story, the adaptation, and the creativity in every bite. A quick practical note because Instagram reels had me misinformed. They do take cards. You don't need cash. Also, parking isn't exactly abundant, and there aren't many nearby places to sit with your takeaway. My advice is to grab a table and eat there. The space itself is small and pretty no-frills, so if you're coming for ambiance, this isn't that kind of place. But if you're coming for flavor, you're in exactly the right place. The setup is simple. You line up, order when it's your turn, and move things along. It's a busy spot, so a little menu reconnaissance goes a long way. The staff are efficient and patient, but they're not mind readers. Asking them whether shrimp or chicken is "better" feels like asking someone whether you should prefer chocolate or vanilla. Both are good. It depends on what you like. We ordered the dhalpuri roti, which is a soft flatbread stuffed with seasoned ground lentils. If you're sharing, ask for it not to be wrapped. Otherwise, it comes rolled up like a wrap. We filled ours with both the curried goat and the oxtail because we weren't there to play it safe. Both were excellent, paired with those comforting, home-style potatoes that soak up all the flavor without overwhelming you with spice. I also couldn't leave without trying the doubles, and we kept it plain. Oh. My. God. Flavor bomb. At its heart, it reminded me of chole bhature's distant cousin. The same comforting chickpea soul, but interpreted through Trinidad's lens with pepper sauces and chutneys that make it unmistakably its own. I honestly think the chutneys are what take it over the top. For the bake and shark though Pay first, take your number, and when they call you up, tell them how you'd like it dressed. Personally, I have a "trust the chef and give me everything" philosophy, so I said yes to it all. The result was a glorious mess of crispy fried shark piled high with pineapple, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and an array of vibrant chutneys that I am still thinking about. They do not skimp on the fish. Watching them assemble it from the front row is part of the fun. Before you leave, do not skip the cassava cake. The raisin dessert was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's entirely personal and worth trying if you have a sweeter tooth than I do. They also sell plenty of snacks and hot sauces, so take a look around before heading out. One final thing I appreciated. They have a restroom and a sink stocked with soap. Trust me, you are going to get messy. That's part of the joy of eating here. If you're the kind of person who side-eyes people for eating with their hands, this might not be your scene. If you're willing to embrace the delicious chaos, Trinciti will reward you generously. I left full, happy, and wondering why I had let distance keep me away for so long. Hence, "Simply Caribbean" is a Guyanese restaurant located in Queens, NYC. Must say their chicken fried rice paper-bag experience was such a vibe. Lots of food, the fried chicken was sautéed just right and served with cabbage, corn, cumbers, and with Guyanese hot sauce on the side. Highly recommend trying this. And of course, you must try their mauby - it's a popular Caribbean drink. The staff was so chilled and approachable. They have a sitting area too, but it seems like mostly everyone was ordering take out.

Just had my first UYE (unofficial Yelp event) at Margherita Pizzeria. My small group of 4 ordered…read morethe regular pie. I really enjoyed this event and the location on Jamaica Avenue was a convenient meeting place, looking liking a small cafeteria. The service was very friendly and cordial. They bought napkins and plates along with our drinks. When the pizza pie came out; hot and fresh, they delivered it to our table. This is a very small place and we were lucky to find a seat and there's no restrooms. My very first small bite, into the slice of margarita pizza was absolutely delicious, it had a sweet savory taste and looked like Vodka sauce. This is a cash pay system and they do allow you to stand and eat at the counter. I will most definitely be returning. I'm very satisfied with this visit... Inspire more, Yelp more!

Amazing Caribbean Chinese food. The classic decor of evokes West Indian heritage and culture in the heart of a community of people from Guyana, Trinidad, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Dominica Republic and others. I love the lamb lo mein and garlic chicken. It the best West Indian authentic Chinese food in Queens. read more
