The food is very flavorful. The staff are quick and friendly as well. There is a bar area in the front with music. I was in the dining area and it was nice and quiet. My friend recommended this place because of their authentic Guyanese cuisine. I am impressed. I had curry shrimp with roti and she had chicken and broccoli. I usually don't eat with my hands but I ate the roti with the curry shrimp.

My friend recommended we dine here as he is a frequent customer. As we talked in the hostess recognized him immediately and greeted us with a friendly smile and wished us all a nice Sunday. The 3 of us sat in the back and we were immediately joined by Kaaja our wonderful and super friendly server. She made our dining experience exceptional!! Jist to let you know, every suggestion she made was perfect. She has a very welcoming approach and I even chose the recommended drink she usually orders for herself. They need at least 5 more Kaaja working here!!! We had several appetizers including butter fish, spicy cut up wings. Their hot peppers are chopped hot spicy peppers which is unique than have the sauce of the peppers. We also had plantain fries!! Yes they cut the plantains to resemble fries!! All the appetizers were good. I had the house special fried rice that features chicken, shrimp, crabmeat, and either lamb or pork. It was in a brown rice that was really delicious!! It was very filing and enough to share with another person. The others ordered the surf and turf with jerk lamb. The vegetables were sauteed nicely and crispy. I did have 1 small piece that was hard but the reat was soft and good. Finally for dessert we shared a Gulam Jamun. We had a very nice experience and looking forward to returning here to dine!

The service was extremely fast! The food was hot and fresh and the portion was large! It's definitely enough for one person to eat for 2 days!

While visiting friends nearby, we ordered delivery from this place, serving Chinese Caribbean fusion. We decided to get the Seafood Combination to share. In addition, we ordered Shrimp Lo Mein and Jerk Chicken Fried Rice. The Seafood Combination consisted of fried fish, grilled shrimp, breaded shrimp, scallops, crab meat, fries, along with steamed veggies. I really enjoyed the fish, which was crispy, flaky, and well seasoned. The breaded shrimp was also tasty, with a wonderful crunchiness and great flavor. The crab meat was cooked perfectly and delightfully tender. The grilled shrimp were quite large in size, as well as juicy and succulent. The veggies were a nice, fresh component of the meal. The noodles were also yummy with flavorful sauce and spices. Overall, it was a satisfying dinner.

Food spoiled and has a hair . A hair in the food please see the pictures disgusting !!!!!

L was pretty surprised that he liked the food so much. We've had Dominican food plenty of times, it's not something we eat often but since this place had great reviews, I wanted to try it; the pernil was really good here. It wasn't overly seasoned. I did throw away the excess oil from the pork, other than that, it was tender, juicy and delicious. The lil salad was a great side to the fatty meat. Will definitely return to try other items.

And I'm saying that as a Dominican with a Dominican grandfather who cooks just like this. I have NEVER been able to find a place that makes rice the way my grandpa does. Like that real, home-cooked Dominican rice that actually tastes like something. And of course I don't always want to bother him when I'm in the mood for good Dominican food... so I'm genuinely so happy I found this place. Ordering was super easy and pickup was quick. Prices are also really good for the amount of food you get. And everything I've tried has been delicious. The beans though... oh my God. I'm still thinking about the beans. For the amount of food you get for the price, it's amazing! I can't wait to keep ordering from here, and I'm honestly already thinking about placing larger orders for events in the future. If there's one local business in Queens you should support, it's this one. Hands down one of the best Dominican spots!

The shop is steady busy with takeout orders and the occasional folks (like me) who wanted to sit and enjoy my first doubles there. They only have two tables and chairs. Most people order to go. You may order at the kiosk and wait for your number to be called when it is ready to pick up. The kiosk is good because it easily shows all the sauces you may add to your doubles and the variety of other things like drinks, etc you may order. There is also the option to get in line and place your oder. You can watch the assembly line of workers quickly making food. Then check out with the cashier. They sell lots of different cakes, breads, nuts, and drinks too. I was a little overwhelmed on what to order, but a nice employee helped me out. I showed him what I was trying to order and asked for suggestions. Thanks to him I had the best doubles! Added tamarind sauce, mango chutney, and the benny sauce. The perfect vegetarian meal for $2.50! It is made of roti (flatbread), curried chickpeas, and topped with the sauces. Then rolled up to make a sandwich. So flavorful! I wasn't too sure which drink to get as I wasn't sure what they all tasted like. Chose the Seamoss drink, which is a mix of milk, seams, nutmeg, and some spices. Milky and not overly sweet. This was good. Maybe next time I'll get sorrel, which is hibiscus. They said the peanut drink is good too. Ordered Pholourie with tamarind sauce. These are fried savory dough balls. I couldn't resist getting a sweet treat. So, I randomly picked the salara bread, which looks like a cinnamon swirl bread slice. It is actually stuffed with shredded coconut that is colored red and tastes like cherry. Pretty good and not overly sweet. Definitely add this place to your list of eats in Queens. It is a trek from the city, but so good! Also, nice that it is a little bit away from the loud busy part of Liberty Ave in Richmond Hill. This is about a 15-20 min walk from there on Lefferts Blvd. Restroom available.

The standout dishes of the night were the whole red snapper, the oxtail fried rice, and the Continental Burger.
