I called Victor out to do some work at my office. I received the bid and sent it to my landlord. I asked him if he would be interested in coming to my house. He came out the same day. I needed to replace two side gates. He showed us pictures and did some measuring. We got the bid very quick. He was very knowledgeable and nice. We decided to go ahead with the order. He came out again to just go over measurements and placement. He gave me updates and then called me and said they were ready to install. His guys did a great job and we are so very happy. I had gates that really needed to be replaced, and Victor explained that I'd be better off replacing my grass area around the gates with concrete because my sprinklers had caused the old gates to rust through in some spots. He ended up replacing much of the grass on that side of the house with concrete and a flower bed with a drip system, my rain gutter now drains to drain by the curb (which was blocked up and he also repaired) where before it just emptied and soaked the area around it. I'm extremely happy with the work that he did and how everything looks now. It was a bit more expensive than I had anticipated it would be before starting the project (concrete is expensive!) but I feel that it really looks great and that his advice will keep the gates looking nice for a long time to come. I would give 6 stars if I could! My 90 unit West Hollywood condo needed to get ALL the railings done! including those on PRIVATE BALCONIES. During the HOLIDAY SEASON. which also meant removing wooden privacy screens for many owners. We were forced to do it with no warning so you can imagine the negativity swirling around the building. I would like to give a high recommendation to Victor's iron fence and gate repair. 805-210-2301. The huge wind recently damaged my iron fence and gate. It's been there for 32 years and the ground cover over the bottom rotted it. But I didn't know that. The wind two weeks ago finally knocked it over. On Sunday I called and he called me back within an hour. he came on Monday and gave me an estimate. He and his crew arrived promptly on Wednesday and fixed everything. They did a great job.
