How does one take an order for a $24+ large pizza without explaining the crust options? Screw up #1.i walk into the store to wait an additional 20 minute wait than promised to be asked, "Where is your other pizza?" That crap wasn't a pizza. Even the raccoons wouldn't eat it. i use to work here. personally I wouldn't eat here. they will drop food on the floor and still make it for you to eat, they get high here and mess up orders and do nothing to fix the problem. no one is nice here. they never wash there hands. don't wear gloves either. if your allergic to something they dont care. the drivers don't care about anyone either mixed up orders, messed up or even missing items. they don't care. read more

We've ordered from this location a few times as they are located near our apartment. We've always had quick service and good food. Today we ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a salad for delivery and were told it would be about 45 minutes. We had our food in like 30, so great job guys!!! Ordered medium 1 topping pizza. Was a pick up order and was told 20 minutes. Showed up was told a few more minutes. After 10 minutes they lost my order. Manager said here I'll make you a large. Took 15 minutes to make it and made it wrong. Came home with it and threw it away. Horrible horrible customer service. Benito's was always my favorite pizza. Absolutely THE BEST PIZZAS in the COUNTRY!! We have traveled around the US & NO PIZZA can stand up to a BENITO'S PIZZA. We always get the same 6 items & have Never been disappointed. They didn't deliver my total order, claimed I would get credit...the manager promised it would be available the next time I order. I called back to order more food, and to get my credit for what I paid for and the girl manager was rude and nasty about money that was taken from me. I have the right to be upset. Lol, never again. I usually actually never wrote a review good or bad but the disrespect displayed by this restaurant it was all I could do without feeding in to the negative attitude/customer service I had to endure.... So I ordered a large pizza online to be to delivered to my sister house literally on the opposite side of the city from this particular benitos. After a while I decided to call to make sure they actually delivered this far from the shop since in fact I did order online, respectfully. To my surprise I was told they didn't deliver this far which is fine but I was hung up on immediately. Being that my card had indeed had been charge I had to call back, maybe I had to go pick it up. The same guy who sounded like a girl told me they didn't hand up on me (fine) but continued to hang up on me again. This time I was prepared just to speak to a manager but luckily I didn't have to ask because someone else answered in an aggressive manor. I told him that the young lady (which happen to be his son) hung up on me. The man disregarded my concern and proceeded to confirm the delivery was out of range. Ironically my doorbell rang low and behold the pizza had arrived while I was still on the phone with the"manager". He was speechless, I told him he should be ashamed ( I wanted to swoop to his level but I didn't) me and the delivery guys laughed (good guy) I tipped the driver 15$. My appetite was long gone as I signed up with yelp to make this review( my nieces and nephews enjoyed the pizza btw) long story short these people are sick, and miserable. Never again! When I did the pickup in november, the store was clean, they required masks and only one person inside at a time. The employees were masked and gloved and they had hand sanitizer on the counter. We spoke with the store owner who said we had no proof it was his driver and he was not going to do anything about it. This review isnt to go against their quality of food or their delivery service per-say. But their qualities in customer care are quite low. I have ordered from them several times and their food is delicious. Im a truck driver and have them deliver to me. My recent disapointment is that when you pay for something you expect to receive the product. For example a simple side of ranch. Now keep in mind im in an 18 wheeler and cant just go get some ranch for my bonless wings. The first time they said they would make right on the next order. So i order my usual and once again i am charged and not receiving what i ordered. I know its only a 50cent packet of ranch but its just the point. What can I say about this place......If you've read my reviews you know how I feel about pizza restaurants, and what I feel makes good pizzas.....dough, sauce and fresh toppings. Benito's dough is a 3 out of 10 little to no body, absolutely no chew.....No rustic texture at alll. The cheese is 3 out of 10, lacks that creamy, stringy chew you're looking for in mozzarella cheese and the pepperoni is very salty. In terms of flavor, a good slice of pepperoni should have salt, spice, and heat in good balance, with a little spike of acidity. Benito's pepperoni was a 2 out of 10. My wife and I..... have tried them three separate times, and with the exception of changing a couple of items on the pizza.... they've been consistent. In regards to Benito's "Garlic Bread Sticks" thumbs up.....surprisingly. Over all my experience was a 4 out of 10. Right now "Stack's" on Ecorse and Belleville Rd. Has my vote for Pizza......"YES" people the Liquor Store. read more
