This coffee shop is the type that has a window on each side where you can order from. On this morning there was a nice lady working the window and we ordered 2 - 12 oz Americanos as well as a 24 oz Americano for myself. After waiting a bit for the coffee to cool, I was finally able to try it. The coffee here didn't impress me much. While it wasn't bad, it also wasn't a flavor that suited me. I will say that it was a bit on the lighter side and smooth without any bitterness. The bottom line for me is that I probably would not head back here again in the future. While there was nothing wrong with the coffee per se, it just wasn't for me.

Terrible Service and No Accountability…read more I placed an order with Tropical Smoothie Cafe only to find out they were CLOSED when I arrived to pick it up. No notice, no heads-up -- just locked doors and no staff in sight. I've gone back FOUR times trying to get this resolved, and still no refund, no food, no apology. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of customer care or business responsibility. If you're going to take people's money, at least be open when you say you are -- or issue a refund when you're not. Won't be returning, and I'll be telling others to avoid this location too.

Efficiency: 3/5 They are always busy and I've seen people standing around while one person makes smoothies alone. Many hands make light work. I tried getting different flavor combinations to see if there was a difference and they all taste exactly the same. If anything there's only a hint of flavor aside from the sweetness of the coffee. The 7fizz I get is supposed to taste like blue raspberry, coconut, and vanilla and all it tastes like is watered down carbonated soda and a hint of coconut. Aside from that any time I've gone recently it's like you gotta be lucky and choose one side and hope for the best or 8+ other cars will get there after you and only one side gets served and then I get to the front without having my order taken at all.
