I can't say enough good things about Michael Bennett and his company. The guys are great, the office staff totally rock and Michael himself is a terrific businessman. He truly is the type guy you want to deal with. I have used Bennett Heating and Cooling several times and I've always gotten a fair deal. They are running a business, but they understand that they have to take care of people in order to get that repeat business. Michael has always given me ALL THE OPTIONS and explained costs as well as pros/cons of each option. Other companies will give you a couple options then up-sale a new unit if at all possible. Recently, another tech from a company I wont name, told me I had to spend $1200 on a new part, or of course buy a new unit. He liked me so he was cutting me a deal.... Bull s#%t. I only called this guy cause I'm in Cookeville instead of Crossville and knew Michael and the guys were covered up. Big mistake. After my lapse in judgement I called Michael (my wife likes to remind me I'm stupid for not doing that to begin with). He immediately told me I was being hoo-doo'd . When I told him I hated to ask him to come all the way to Cookeville he reminded me it was no trouble. The next day- he calls to tell me he's almost to the house. I left the office to meet him. By the time I got there, he had already fixed my unit. NONE of the things the other guy said was broken actually was. It was a small leak in a line and Michael welded that sucker up in 2 mins. He could easily have told me anything was wrong and charged whatever he wanted- but he's not that guy. I really wish all businesses operated with this integrity. Heat and air work is necessary but costly. We all gotta have it done. We are lucky Bennett Heating and Cooling is there for us. Give them a call- you wont regret it. I woke up this Sunday morning to no AC I started searching the Internet and found Bennett and one other in Crossville I went to each of their Facebook pages and sent a msg looking for help the 1st one msg'd me back and said someone would call on Monday, then Bennett's msg box popped up I described the issue he said he was coming in off the Lake and would be here within the hour he made in half the time found the hole in the line that needed repair went to Crossville got his trailer and came back fixed it right up charged the system (R22) I might add and had the house cooling down. I was ready for the bill as I knew it would be up there R22 ain't cheap and its Sunday morning, I almost fell down when I got bill it was more than FAIR in fact I read it twice. We needed a new heater and thermostats installed. Bennett gave us the best price and helped us select the unit that would take care of us. Mike was wonderful and informative during the selection process. They installed our new unit and came back to install the thermostats once I bought the correct ones. Chris and Mike came out here on time, quickly installed the thermostats and made sure everything was working, and that I knew how to work them, before leaving. They were courteous, efficient and professional. There were no hidden costs or fees associated with either installation. Should we need any additional repairs in the future they will be the only ones we call. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Too often you find sketchy repair companies. on a Sunday, our AC went out. Reached out to Bennett Heating and Cooling (via Yelp). We received a quick response from Mike (the owner). He came out on Monday morning and checked our AC. Our sons have their own AC business in Miami. Mike spoke to our son and explained what he found and his recommendation. Because of the age of our unit, we decided to replace our AC. We also changed from a heat pump to a gas heating furnace. Duct work needed to be changed due to going to gas. A crew of three came at 8am and started to work. Great guys! They worked ALL day (leaving at 5pm). Cleaned up all of the trash, boxes, and old duct work. We sent photos of our replaced unit and gas furnace to our sons. Rude & dumb.. . I don't know how they get anything done there. The IQ's there ain't IQing.. The usual us against them-ers you find in the local area. They bring their smut phone to 'chuch' on sunday and pretend to love duh buby jesus. They really go there so the wives can make each other jealous w/ their new 'smart' phones & purses. They tell everyone how 'holy' they are and yet harbor hatred for people who moved across an imaginary, MAN made line and don't speak like them..... lolz .. They top it all off by injecting each other w/ tel aviv juice and they worship the blue line that guarded the injection sites. Simp town usa. There are a lot of them. Michael Bennett saved us thousands of dollars! His crew of Jesse and Steve were very efficient,professional, and polite. They cleaned our ducts and replaced our old heat pump with a gas fired American Standard unit with a WiFi thermostat and we just love the heat and convenience of the new unit. Top notch customer service! The intake specialist who took my call was very knowledgeable, she explained all the fees and services. She also answered all of my questions. Called last week as our heat stopped working late at night. Friendly young lady answered the phone at 7 am, which I did not expect to happen it being so early. Someone was out by 9 am and had our heat up and running in no time. When I received the bill I was more than pleased. Wonderful, fast, friendly service all the way around.
