Horrible horrible experience. Was hired by my parents to do a front gate for their home. Asked for a deposit; gave us a time frame for when he was going to begin work; then proceeded to disappear for over a week. Was able to finally hunt him down; gave multiple excuses as to why he hadn't shown up when he said he would. He began the work; and then tried to con his way into asking for more money on the project. After refusing to give him additional money for a project he was already two weeks late on; he decided to leave the job unfinished with a promise to return to complete it. this guy Benny is absolutely horrible. he was suppose to fabricate a iron staircase railing with glass in middle for me . he did not finish it at all. he kept on giving excuses on why he cant come . 1st he was in hospital 2nd his truck broke down 3rd the glass broke . he is horrible with time . he doesn't answer phone . he is never on time . he does not even show up . Benny Ironworks did not complete the railing on my back porch he was paid in full to do. He took a deposit to fabricate a gate for my driveway and he has not returned in over three months to complete the jobs. He has not answered any of my repeated text and phone call. His mail box is always full you cant leave any messages. Benny I need my money back. I will report you to the Better Business Bureau. (BBB). I am giving you on week to respond and return my money. I am very disappointed in you. I lost all trust in you. It is such a shame. I tried to patronize small businesses, but I ended up getting screwed in the process. The worst customer service and unprofessionalism. Paid cash to repair a steel casing, brought it back to the shop and it broke after 1 use. Called Benny back, he yelled on the phone. Went in to the store, again got yelled at and was told he couldn't fix it (even though he took the cash to do so.) Gave him a second chance to fix it, phone wasn't answered, went to the shop after 4 days and the case was hanging in his shop doing nothing. What a waste of time. Don't go here. read more

Benny came to my house and gave and me a estimate. The price was reasonable he said it will be about 2 weeks to complete the job.he made a driveway gate and a walkway gate. I was very please with my job. He was finish with the job before two week. He was very professional. I definitely recommend benny ironworks. Called a few weeks back and Benny was able to construct the wrought iron pergola that we wanted. He came back more than 2 times to change the paint from glossy to flat and make the structure stronger at the support posts. He completed the job and cleaned up well at the end, even going as far as to sweep our back yard pavers. He called a few days later to make sure we were happy with the work. He is also coming back to add some ornamental pieces and a support for a grape vine. read more

Benny is a piece of trash and a lair! He took advance to complete 2 gates. We made him write in the contract that it would take 3 weeks. If is now 4 weeks over and Benny never showed up to start the project. He gives dates and time but never showed up. He said he doesn't work when it is hot or rains so I really don't know when he works. My company hired Benny 2 months ago, he still hasn't finished the job. He was paid in full because we thought that he would be a trustworthy guy, being that he owned his business. We were wrong, we made several attempts to contact him to complete the job, to date, he didn't finish the work and didn't return our calls. Business is not conducted that way.
