To my surprise, their house-made sandwiches are served on freshly baked bread, made with fresh ingredients, and cost under $10 (Panera could never!!!). Their baked goods were also reasonably priced with generous portions. We picked up the Cinnamon Burst Bread, a cinnamon roll, a honey bran muffin (which completely stole the show for me; it was incredibly moist and I'd come back just for that) and an almond poppy seed scone. The service here was just as impressive. Everyone was so friendly and personable and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there. I also loved their "Giving Rack," where anyone in need can take free baked goods. It's such a thoughtful idea and says a lot about the kind of business they are. This is easily one of my favorite bakery finds and it'll definitely be a regular stop whenever I'm back in the area.

After church on Sunday, I was craving a good, hearty sub and decided to check Yelp for a local spot. Benny's Subs caught our eye, so we figured to give it a try. I ordered my go-to Italian on a squaw roll, and overall, it was a pretty good sandwich. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were there. My only real criticism is that I wish they had been a little more generous with the meat. The sandwich felt a bit thin, and the bread-to-meat ratio was heavier on the bread side. The roll itself was also slightly drier than I prefer, as I tend to like my bread a little softer. That being said, value matters these days, and for about $18, I got a large sandwich, chips, and a drink, which I felt was actually a pretty solid deal. While this wasn't the best Italian sub I've ever had, it was a satisfying lunch. I'll definitely be back, though next time I may branch out and try something different on the menu. If you're in the area and looking for a casual sub shop with fair prices and solid food, Benny's is worth checking out. read more

I would give 10 stars if I could..This place is just magnificent. My husband and I moved her 5 1/2 years ago and have been looking for a decent place to get sandwiches This is as close to a Jewish deli we have found and you can bet me but we will be coming back at least once a week. And would more but we live in Menifee They do not skimp on the meat in their sandwiches. I got the roast beef and it was heaven, rare and lots of it. If you want rare though call before going to see if it is available, my son got the hot pastrami and was blown away. We both got the potato salad and I have to admit it is better than mine. They also have macaroni salad but I didn't try it, though I am sure if it;s like everything else on their menu it will be great. Customer service is amazing. I stopped into Benny's place for lunch today for the first time. I work down the street and have been looking for a new lunch spot. Well, i'm pretty disappointed. The woman behind the counter, I think she may be the owner, acted annoyed that she had to help me. She was short with me and snapped at the younger girl who was also working at the counter. The younger girl looked at me and smiled apologetically. Maybe she was just having a bad day but she shouldn't have let it show to her customers. The food was pretty good but definitely not worth the price. read more

When you walk in, you automatically feel a bit more relaxed. It's not a small location like other sandwich places so you don't feel the need to get in & race back out. Nice music that doesn't over power your visit. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The menu was extensive, with just about any sandwich combo you could think of. I had the Turkey and avocado on squaw. Excellent quality with wonderful flavors! My son was already planning what he'll try next time. We have definetly found our new lunch spot. This place has roaches. If your looking for a disgusting place to eat at a high price in a very nice area. Try here. The owner is rude and has absolutely zero customer service skills. I overheard him talking down to one of his poor employees. Nobody should have to be treated the way he was speaking to her. Really wanted to dig this place but the bread was stale and the sandwiches tasted like subway. Everyone was really nice and polite, but the food was literally meh. Jersey Mikey's and all those other chains are better. I am into supporting small business but the freshness factor is totally lacking. I placed a order online and it said it would be ready a certain time and also received a text saying my order was ready and when I got there they told me it would still be another 30 mins. This took my entire lunch break that I didn't have time to eat my lunch. This is unacceptable and will not be returning. read more

Spacious as hell, proper New York deli that moonlights as a 70s rock dive -- screaming reds and greens, green booths, wooden tables, tiled floors, the whole retro package you see in the pics. The playlist was gloriously all over the place in the best way -- Contemporary Christian one minute, 2019 pop bangers the next, basically spanning six decades of straight fire. "Listen to your heart" came on and I damn near did while they built my baby. Every single pick was gold though. I ordered the 12" Capicola & Provolone ($16.69). I yelled "the works -- no mustard, drown me in onions and olives." They dropped an absolute beast of a sandwich... and it came perfectly toasted straight out the gate the way it should be.
