Bocadillo Kitchen is tucked away in an ARCO gas station in Lake Elsinore, so unless you live in the area or actively looking for this place, you won't find it. It's an up-and-coming sandwich shop, and for good reason: handmade loaded sandwiches for $7.99 is an absolute steal in today's economy. There's only one worker so it can take a while if there are people waiting in line, but the wait is definitely worth it. Both the Simply Italian, GRB w/ AVO sandwiches are 5/5; the sandwiches are made-to-order with freshly cut ciabatta bread, thinly sliced meat, and veggies. Their quesadilla was also amazing too, and much bigger than what you would get from Taco Bell. Overall Bocadillo Kitchen was fantastic and it deserves the traction its getting from social media. Had sandwiches door-dashed after seeing this place on an instagram reel. I went with the GRB w/ Avo and the son had the trio classic. The bread was delicious- a bit crunchy but soft inside. The GRB was very tasty and the soy sauce dressing on the side made a good sandwich that much better. The trio was tasty as well. Since we had it delivered, I never saw the ambiance ( but the gas station looks nice inside!) if I'm in Lake Elsinore I now know of a good local sandwich joint to eat lunch at!! read more

Found out about this place after seeing a video on social media so a couple friends and I decided to come check it out. It's super niche and is tucked inside a gas station but don't let that fool you as these were some of the best sandwiches I've ever had, not to mention the value of it as well as I got a pretty hefty sandwich, a drink, and bag of chips for 10 dollars flat. There's no where to sit but the experience of going in and talking to the super nice employees was phenomenal and I plan on coming back as soon as possible. Sure it's not a fancy restaurant or Michelin Star spot, but I'd honestly take this any day of the week, and I'd highly recommend the Bocadillo Signature!! Please come check this place out and support them as they totally deserve it, and if you're looking for a place to eat there is a park nearby where you can enjoy your meal and have a great experience with friends. OK, so first you need to know this place is inside a gas station. I drove around in circles trying to find a spot because I don't know. Maps is weird like that and I didn't think it would be inside a gas station now. Don't let that steer you away because this place is delicious. It's really like a unique sandwich spot not like typical Jersey Mike's or Subway or anything like that and very flavorful I forgot what I had because I'm writing the review a little late but honestly, it was amazing. My husband had been wanting to try this place for awhile. So he finally stopped and grabbed us some sandwiches. He said the service was prompt. I got the simply Italian. The first bite I took I could not bite through the sandwich at all. The meat was too tough unfortunately. Not a good sign... lol. But every thing else about the sandwich was delicious, especially the toasted bread! My husband got the signature sandwich. He loved it. He gave me a 1/4 of it and it was delicious. The vinaigrette on it was amazing and sweet as well. The chicken was perfect on it! We will be back. I am looking forward to trying other sandwiches as well. Absolutely delicious!!! My whole fam stopped here for lunch and all five of us would love to go back. It took a little while to make all the sandwiches since there was only one person working, but that makes sense for a place like this. The signature sandwich has house-made pomegranate and mango sauce and it is absolutely divine! My family also enjoyed the GRB w/ avo and the ancho turkey sandwiches. Nowhere to sit inside or outside the gas station, but the lake is only a few minute drive and has several locations with picnic tables. I have gotten two sandwiches from this place now and I've been impressed both time with the size and quality of the bread and meats. Their prices are so good it's another reason to never go to subway with this within 15 minutes of your house beyond the fact that Subway extorts franchisees and their employees while taxing them more than McDonald's on annual revenue. Both of my sandwich artists were very kind and quick with their work, one of them even having some fun conversation about product. What a find in Lake Elsinore. I was skeptical about buying food from a gas station but it's one of the best sandwiches I've eaten. The term "don't knock it till you try it" really applies here. The GRB is my favorite thus far. You get lots of sliced beef on a cibatta roll and the spread on this sandwich is full of flavor. From the first bite to the last it's delicious. I'm still thinking about it as I write this review. Ive also tried the Bocadillo Signature which was not really as good as the GRB in my opinion. For the price and the quality, I'm definitely coming back to grab me another one if these sandwiches and for $1 more you get a bag of kettle chips and soda. That's a score for sure. Read the reviews about the unique sandwiches made in the Bocadillo kitchen. I ordered three sandwiches two of their GRB W/ AVOCADO and a ITALIAN CAP sandwich. I asked for double meat on the GRBs.(always good idea on roast beef) I swapped provolone instead of Swiss. (Not a Swiss cheese kinda guy) The flavors of the sandwiches was great! Unique. Something different from the standard choices. The GRB is topped with a soy sauce blend. I'm not 100% sure but i think it was aujus and soy sauce blend. DELICIOUS flavor to the sandwich. I asked for side of peppercinis then ate little between bites of the sandwich. To kinda cleanse the palate before each bite of a delicious sandwich! The ITALIAN CAP was tasty also i had to get a bite of hers after tasting the GRB. I am looking forward to trying thier PASTRAMI sandwich on squaw bread next time. I can't believe I ate a sandwich from a gas station. My dad talked me into it and raved about it. I told the person they're working, Evelyn, that I don't eat meat. I got the vegetarian sandwich.
