Big Box Pet Stores Beware! This little market may put Big Box out of Big Business. I was looking for a tick removal tool, it was 20 minutes to closing. I had called all the stores near me and they had no idea what it a tick removal tool is. Angela was not only familiar with the tool, but had it at the front counter waiting for me when I arrived. Meet Yoshi, our sweet and spirited 15-month-old pitbull. We rescued her when she was just four months old. From day one, she was full of life--curious, playful, and overflowing with love. Absolutely blown away with the variety of pet foods, treats, and supplements offered here! We've been purchasing our dog food from PFE for some time now but will be switching to this shop. Here's why! 1) Small family owned franchise: we love shopping small and supporting local businesses! 2) Price: competitive and I saw a few items that I purchase at other stores are cheaper here. E.g Open Farm RawMx bags that I feed my puppers. 3) Healthy alternatives: SOO many options to choose from if you're looking to add to your pet's diet. My pups love rabbit and not many stores have chews. They also had dehydrated quail eggs. 4) Reward system: Not only is there a very nice reward system but they offer a "buy X amount for 1 free". So e.g for Open Farm, after buying 11 bags, I'd get 1 bag free." At check out, you can enter your number for 5% off your first purchase. 5) Wash station: New and unique area to wash your pet. I haven't tried this yet but looking forward to in our next visit! 6) Employees: I didn't ask her for name but the lovely cashier was knowledgeable about the products and recommendations. I love the staff who guided me to buying Gut Restore for my 2 year old dog. It really helped with his bile throwups once a week and his bouts of diarreah. This is the pet store I have been missing! Such a large selection of healthy items for our dogs and cats. They have foods that are hard to find anywhere such as Lotus, Identity, Green Juju, Raised Right and Dr. Marty's. They also carry Adored Beast supplements which, in my opinion, are some of the best available. The freezer section is the largest of any pet store I have ever been in! An entire aisle dedicated to nothing but raw and gently cooked food for dogs AND cats. With so many to choose from there is something for everyone. The owner is incredibly nice and helpful as well and you can tell she truly cares about the health of your pet. While it's a little bit of a drive, this is my new go to shop for my kitty! read more
