I had the absolute best experience with Ben's Florist! I had a (very) postponed Covid wedding celebration and really took my time planning things this time around. I reached out to Ben's less than a month before the event and they were not only able to accommodate my whole flower order, which included a dozen table arrangements, but also were able to find a pretty unique rose that I had my heart set on in time. I gave Frank a general sense of what I was thinking of and he brought my vision to life! Every part of the order was perfect and even better than expected. Deliveries were on time and everyone that I encountered at Ben's was beyond nice, helpful, and professional. Stay away from ready prepared rose bouquet grossly overpriced and rotting .I'm embarrassed to give this as a gift .2 stars if I go back and they pull this stunt again one star Let the buyer beware . This has to be one of the best florist in Bay Ridge. The customer service is superb and the floral arrangements are top notch. I recently ordered a $50 mixed bouquet for a coworker and I was amazed by the amount and quality of flowers that were in this arrangement. Shortly after this order I worked with Frank to provide me with balloon centerpieces and a $25 mixed floral arrangement for a retirement party. His price was spot on and he provided free delivery and again a gorgeous arrangement. This is my go to florist for all occasions. Stopped by on a Sunday a few minutes before closing to inquire about the price of flowers I wanted to buy in bulk to make centerpieces for my own baby shower. Jack was more than helpful to answer my questions about price and helped me place an order. On the next day, I needed to change the quantity of eucalyptus and the lovely woman who answered the phone was able to amend my order. They even called me the day before I was to pick up to confirm the order and the price. Every single flower was fresh and lasted for days past my event. We were having a party. Didn't think we need flowers but the morning of the party we decide we need center pieces for two tables. We were short on time. I run into Ben's Florist asked if it was possible to make two center pieces for tables in like an hour. I was told they could. I went in a little after 10 and they were ready before 11. They asked me what I wanted. I said I am not sure it is for a 40th wedding anniversary party. They showed me center pieces they had made up for a delivery that was going out. They were beautiful so I said perfect. They told me they would use red flowers as well unlike the ones I just saw because 40th wedding anniversary was the ruby anniversary. I was so worried when I was driving that the flowers would get ruined. And was about to ask how I could prevent that but when the workers came out with the center pieces they had them in a box for me. I felt the price I paid for two center pieces (with roses) made so quickly was great. Everyone loved the center pieces. I added two pictures. Walked into Ben's recently to order a large stand spray for a funeral and when we saw what Ben's did, it was truly impressive. At a price of $125, it was absolutely spectacular - fantastic quality, huge and amazing color - and delivered right on time! Shortly thereafter, I walked in to order a birthday arrangement for my wife...and again Ben's went beyond my expectations. We received a beautiful arrangement (in a vase that was just superb!) delivered to our home when expected, super fresh and in perfect condition. Absolutely horrible. I received an arrangement of roses on Valentine's Day two days ago, a couple of petals were wilted already but not horribly so. Two days later (today 2/16) the bouquet is already half dead, I took the flowers out of the vase to trim the stems in hoping to get another few days of beauty and realized why they died so quickly- the stems were hacked to pieces, peeling and burned looking. Clearly not fresh flowers and not in clean water. So disappointing that my significant other would want to spend money to buy me something beautiful only to get destroyed flowers. read more
