We have rented this theatre to celebrate birthdays, twice at this theatre. We were able to bring our own movie to screen and bring in pizza and cake. 10 stars out if 10. We will be back! read more

Bensenville: what an unusual town and a great theater (or theatre, if you're into the whole French or British English thing)! Movies are cheap, $5 max as of May 2022, and it's a nice space, with a snack counter and an ice cream shop (or shoppe?), if you're into eating and drinking sugary stuff. It's very pleasant, the theater and the town itself, and a good excuse to venture out past the sprawling vacuum created by O'Hare, unless you're into the whole Hoovering thing. I'll end this review, unless you're into me writing on and on, which I can and will do, but we're all better off if I stop saying "if you're into" or "unless you're into" with every paragraph. This place is a great hidden gem. All the staff are welcoming and nice, the place looks well maintained and cozy, and the prices for the tickets and food are great. Only wish there were more movies choices threw out the week. Still love the place considering I was a kid when I first came here. read more

This is the PERFECT venue for a kid's birthday party! We just hosted 15 people for our son's 10th birthday. They didn't have a kids' movie playing at the time, so we brought a DVD of our choice. The kids all stuffed themselves silly with popcorn, soda, hotdogs and ice cream. They even offered free refills on the popcorn and the drinks. All of this fun for less than $200! Miss Mary and her team did a wonderful job keeping all of the orders correct and preparing the food and drinks. This was our first time at this theater but it won't be our last. Moved in to Bensenville 5yrs. Ago w my boyfriend.and when he brought me here for the first time I was in aww. It took me back to when I was a teenager going to a theatre just like this . And it's a nice comfort and nostalgia I feel instantly. The staff is young and polite which was a treat in itself.The ice cream shoppe inside is a bonus and old day cheap prices throughout are a plus . I couldn't wait to invite and take my daughters and grand daughter here . And they loved it here just as much as me . Truly a favorite place of ours to go . Great place to go see a show. At times the same show playing at the more expensive theaters and for much, much less. Parking is a dream always right in front of the place or down the street. Staff very nice. Never crowded so there is not people talking in the show, and no one is seating right on top next to you. Very clean. Great place, a hidden gem. read more

Love this little place... It plays movies that are fresh out of the main theaters. I think the tickets are like $3 or something... I know I went to see the help and got a medium Pop Corn and two tickets for $10.50 with tax. The Bensenville Library also hosts movies... Went to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid for FREE. That's when I realized the food is very cheap also. 2 hot dogs w/ all the trimmings, a medium pop & chips for $4. You can't even get candy for $4 at a regular theater. The place is nice and clean, friendly staff. They also have an ice cream shoppe attached to it. The Ice cream is delish... I had Pecan-Coconut & a big cup of it, for $1.75. I've been going to this theater since I was a little kid growing up in Bensenville and I'll keep going here even as an adult living in Lombard for as long as they'll be in business. I'm the first to admit that Bensenville has become somewhat of a ghost town these days due to the O'Hare project but I promise this cozy theater is a diamond in the rough! The admission price is a whopping $4.00/pp and they show relatively - think 4-6 weeks old - new movies. The staff is pleasant enough, the concession prices seem reasonable, they have a full-service ice cream shop in the theater and there is ample nearby parking. The seats are comfortable enough although there is little to no leg room. What I'm saying is this - for about the price of ONE ticket at AMC, my husband and I can go see a movie together with soft drinks and snacks to boot! read more

Love this place! It is a hidden gem for sure. I came here many years ago but recently, I wanted to take my little brother and sister to an old feel theater away from the muvico and imax type of place to show them what the good old days were like. We went during the day before school went back and they loved it! We got 3 tickets, popcorns, soda, candies all for around $20 or so. It was ridiculously low. The place is nice, clean and excellent quality. It is a bit smaller than your average theater but I liked that. We had a blast and will definitely return! read more

Pretty cheap, but very small and only two movies play at a time. You can also hear a train going by every once in a while.

This is SUCH a cute little theatre!! Literally it's so tiny and they only play 2 movies. I came here to see Twilight Eclipse after it stopped playing at regular movie theatres. The ticket, food and drinks are super cheap. On the other side of the concession stand they have a little ice cream shop area and booths to sit down. I love this place. read more

The place smelt like a bathroom as soon as you walked in. Came just to buy a gift card. Waited 20 minutes and the kid finally said "it doesn't want to register the whole card." I love this place and love supporting the theater and ice cream shop. I personally would be so sad if it were to ever shut down. Yes its small and not up to date with decor or seats... but who cares!? When I go to AMC or Muvico and pay 15$ a ticket then I demand my seats be comfy. But this place reminds me of the good days. Back when I was really little and parents didn't have to get a second job just to take their kids to see a movie. Even the pop corn, candies, sodas..ect is extremly aforadoable. And I find this place MUCH cleaner all around then big name places. And the staff seems always happy and willing to help! read more

Had a Groupon for Bensenville Theater. We were never here before. The older Hispanic woman is rude and a witch! Didn't read the fine print...our mistake. Can't use them on Friday and Saturday. We we're going to purchase tickets anyways. Rude counter woman made us step aside. She wanted to sell her 4p tickets first...it was 353p. Will NEVER patronize this theater EVER!!! Hope they fold!!!! Try Picture Show... Bloomingdale or PickWick in Park Ridge...much better!!!!!! read more

This is the shining star in Bensenville- newer movies for great price, nice staff, quiet place, amazing ice cream and family friendly.

Great place! Movies are $4 and are pretty current (obviously not opening weekend ones but not available on DVD either). Small but clean. Great for families. There were many senior citizens there because it's only $2 p/ticket and includes a free popcorn. read more

Love this small local theatres, it's clean, usually not crowded and the prices are excellent! My husband and I are seniors so our price for a matinee is only $2 with a FREE bag of popcorn - can't beat that for entertainment! The staff is very personable. One time the manager held the start of the movie for a few minutes because a few people were still buying tickets. You just have to walk out to the lobby to have your "problem" fixed...like the time it was too warm in the theatre the manager bumped up the a/c for us. The one minor drawback is that because it is small even in the back row I sometimes feel too close to the screen but it's do-able. read more
