What a pleasant surprise in charming downtown Franklin. We stopped in and picked up two hot chai lattes and an assortment of baked goods to go. They offered two varieties of chai (masala or ginger) and lots of other beverage options. The interior was quaint and clean, super inviting to sit and stay a bit. The service couldn't have been nicer. They offered traditional baked goods and some GF options too. The chocolate chip cookie was salted and amazing. Don't skip this treasure in Franklin. read more

First, the place is adorable!! I could spend all day here hanging but I didn't because I needed to get back on the road. I sampled several of their baked goods and bought a loaf of bread which they sliced for me. It was wonderful with my chicken salad! Wish they were open a couple more days but if you are passing thru Franklin stop in and get yourself a treat!! read more

Really pretty and peaceful. So many plants! Perfect for reading a book. They have sofas, chairs and some tables. The music isn't too loud and is nice and calming. They also have VEGAN muffins and some gluten free things! The bread looks amazing. Everything's good. I usually get a coffee with oat milk which is around $4.38 maybe or a chai latte with oat milk around $6. Closed on Sundays and mondays and closes at 3 on Saturdays. But open tue-sat. They also have a gift spot of mugs, honey and some other tiny things. Best place to sit with a friend cause you can actually hear them. Also has out door seating. Only suggestion would be getting in can be slippery when raining. I've seen an older man slip and my friend is on crutches and also slipped. They need the black sand paper lines to help or something for traction. read more

What a treat! We adore this lil gem and keep coming back. They have lots of gluten free and vegan options. But if you are into breads their focaccia is absolutely delicious. I have to agree that I'm surprised tar there were not more reviews of this establishment. Today was our first visit, and it will not be our last. The cappuccino was fabulous. We had a maple bacon scone and a bourbon pecan bar. Both were super tasty. Can't wait for spring so we can visit there again, but sit outside. The gazebo looks very inviting. read more

This beautiful bakery and coffee shop was one of my favorites in W NC. The chocolate chip cookie with sea salt was incredible. I'd drive 30 minutes from Highlands or Cashiers for another in a heartbeat! Everyone working there was super friendly, and the place was decorated in such a welcoming, cozy way. Reminded me of some places in Norway! My cappuccino w/oat milk was delicious. I bought a loaf of bread as well that I enjoyed for several days during my travels. Vegan, gluten free and baked with lots of the regular yummy ingredients you will love. Such a cute bakery and coffee shop in Franklin. We had a maple bourbon vanilla latte with oat milk( they have other alternative milk choices as well) and some pastries. The blueberry lemon violet was delicious. I wanted to try one of everything. They had some gluten free pastry options as well, and if you are looking for GF bread, just call and place an order (advance nand they will make it for you. I'm really surprised there hasn't been a review before this one. I've only been there two or three times, but each visit endears them a little bit more to me. I'll admit it, I grew up in the north and took quality baked goods for granted for many years. Don't get me wrong. Living in the south for 45 years is taught me an appreciation for southern cooking, but I still miss crusty bread, fresh loaves of bread and tempting sweets from time to time. If that is your yearning, this is the place. Everything I've purchased from them has been a real treat. Great breads, baguettes, scones, and other goodies. I suggest you give them a try. I love this bakery/coffee shop, but I came here on Saturday (July 15th, 2023) with some friends and they had closed early for a special event. We traveled from an hour away after checking and confirming that they'd be open until 3. There were no posts on their social media that they'd be closing early. It was very frustrating that they didn't consider their customers before just closing early. read more

Perhaps a little pricey but very good. The Morning Roll is my favorite. Nice historic home. Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is clean but the toilet is so low and maybe difficult if you have back issues. Service was with a smile. Several choices on food. Hope they add lunch items in future. read more
