They had this really cool interactive quote wall that added such a unique touch to the experience. SO GOOD! I was having trouble finding a place on main street that takes apple pay & thankfully they did. The breakfast sandwich was 10/10 and the blueberry latte WITH blueberry coldfoam 10/10 I got some cute stickers 3-4 dollars and they have sweaters, hats, chocolates, and this cool board on the wall that flips the letters every few minutes and it'll say the time or a funny riddle and everyone's trying to figure it out lol it's cute. We stopped in to Orchard Coffee very shortly before closing time and were greeted so warmly by the staff and owner. We were never rushed despite it being so close to closing and not only were we treated like friends, we watched the owner be incredibly accommodating to the couple that came in after us as well. The coffee was absolutely delicious! They make their own syrups, I had a honey cinnamon latte that I wish I could have every day! We will definitely be back next time we are visiting Waynesville. read more

This summer, we've visited three times, and unfortunately, the food and service have not lived up to the standard we've come to know and love. I understand that things are different and transitions are never easy. Still, consistency has been an issue. Each time, we ordered the Avocado Toast, and each time it was noticeably different. We spent $41 on two Avocado Toasts with egg, a medium mocha, and a drip coffee. The drink we received turned out to be a café latte without any chocolate. When I brought this to the attention of the barista, he acknowledged the mistake and offered to remake it. My husband declined, not wanting to make a fuss. Then, the Avocado Toast arrived with cold, soft bread that had not been toasted. When we expressed our concern to the kitchen staff member who delivered it, he insisted the bread had been toasted and that the cottage cheese caused it to cool. We respectfully disagreed--it was clear the bread had never been toasted. He also insisted the drink did contain chocolate, though even the barista had acknowledged it did not. read more

On our coffee shop travels we came across this place. Inside was very generic but it was clean and inviting. Service was very good as everyone had smiles and even laughed at my silly joke. Headed down to Waynesville this past weekend to see a friend and stop by here. Had heard some hustle and bustle about this coffee shop and so I was excited to try it. The shop itself is incredibly adorable. The aesthetics are on point. It's got great visuals and is somehow elaborate but simple. They have a good amount of homemade looking pastries, as well as plenty of coffee options. Nothing too fancy but I prefer smaller menus done well. Inside, you will find some nice tables and bright lighting. Only one bathroom so there tends to be a line. The space itself it's a little crowded and tiny if it's busy. The Americano I got took a long time, but they taste delicious. Due to the fact that the space is pretty cramped in the workers are pretty busy, it wouldn't be my first spot unless it was a slow morning. However, I did really enjoy the aesthetics, the location, the coffee and the ambiance. Just as a tip, we walked up the street to a little community outside table. So awesome and beautiful. read more

I visited this coffee shop because the group I was with at the apple festival wanted coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker but had just tasted some matcha at one of the vendor's tables. Much to my surprise, Orchard had matcha on their menu! I liked it so much, I even bought a 'yeti' type cup from the coffee shop to keep my drink warm while we walked around the festival. There were pastries on the menu but none of my group purchased any as we had just eaten breakfast. They all looked delicious, tho. There was only minimal seating inside the shop. Most people were using the tables to wait for the restrooms or for their orders to be completed. The staff was great. With a line half way down the street waiting to order, they all seemed to be in perfect rhythm with their coworkers. They were even jovial through the stress of so many customers at once. read more

I tell everyone who will listen to come try the coffee and I bring all my friends and family too. I am not a local but visit often and make it a point to stop in while in town. This is just off Main Street and walkable if you are staying downtown or there is plenty of street parking. All of the employees are nice, helpful and courteous. Try the honey cinnamon syrup in your coffee, you won't regret it! I've had it in both iced and hot coffee and love the flavor. The fresh muffins are a favorite too. On my last trip I got the days they were closed mixed up so when I parked and got out a nice man told me they were closed that day. That's when I realized the day mix up and he said well what were you going to order? I just said just a few coffees. He said hang on I will make it for you. Turns out he was the owner and he did in fact open the store and make me coffee. Nothing compares to the hospitality you get in Waynesville and I will be sure to stop in on all my future trips. He made both mine and my dad's day. You won't regret stopping here. read more

This is a great place if you like espresso that tastes like mud water. Im not sure if the coffee wasn't pulled good, or if the beans were way off roast date, or what, but one of the worst lattes I've ever had. The barista at the counter had no idea what was on their food menu - the menu is way off to the side of the counter (and had stuff misspelled - who spells arugula "avvgala"?). Some butthole next in line kept standing in front of the food sign, too, and the barista and him shared a good laugh when he was ordering. Guess they don't like customers asking questions. The breakfast sandwich sucked - small size for $11. No flavor. I don't understand how this place has such good reviews on Yelp. read more

Really great products but occasionally infuriating customer service. I'll recount one of those from a visit one afternoon. I walked in just behind a group of 8 or so. Waited patiently behind them all as they ordered. Groups normally take longer to order than individuals, since they're talking and discussing options etc. Understandable, I get it. Finally get my order in. Waiting....all the others get served. Still waiting and I notice barista is gone. Hmmm must be in the back getting something. Minutes go by. Still no barista. Now I'm looking around for him. It's probably been 15-20 minutes since I walked in. I look outside and he's down the street casually chatting w a guy who I guess he's giving coffee grounds to?? Go to cashier, she apologizes and jumps in to make my drink. She did ok but not really up to snuff. No refund. No comp. I always tip well and that tip was of course kept for this "service". So that's one incident. Just saying, don't be shocked when it happens to you. I went from being an almost daily customer to maybe every couple of months and only if it's slow. Too bad. This could be a really great shop. Great product just brace yourself for a random bad service experience and you'll feel better about it when it's your turn. read more
