More words from me? Finally he says "I can't help you with that limited amount of information." And then he's done. That's it. He rattled off the info that I would need to bring in with me to avoid 1) Wasting his time, 2) Broadcasting how "door stupid" I am, and 3) Be able to write them a fat check. The tone ion his voice was, however, the verbal equivalent to an eye roll when he quickly listed a dozen numbers toward me: 60by35by120$13575x130x55$250. I think he was throwing me a bone to get me out the door with some numbers at high speed. It worked. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. And it's because of 3 things: 1) I don't know doors like "that guy" knows doors 2) I'm an idiot in general 3) I'm an expert at wasting the time of other experts.

I scheduled an appointment for Black Friday about 4 or 5 days ahead of time. I used their online…read morescheduling page. Within minutes, I got confirmation via text message. Then, every day after that, they sent me another message, including the day of. Then, an hour before the appointment, they sent me another confirmation message. My wife and I drove to their location, and there was nobody there. I figured someone might show up at the exact time, so we waited. About 10 minutes later, I get a phone call from a rep from Abodian. They told me that the company was closed for Thanksgiving holiday. You must be kidding. It is 2024, and the technology is there to prevent this. 1. They should be using a scheduling service that allows blackout dates. 2. They should be sending the text or email notifications to not only the customer, but whomever is supposed to be taking the appointment. 3. They should be updating their hours of operation so that they are accurate on search engines. When I searched, they showed the location was open that day. Then, to top it off, they rep told me on the phone how the company was going to make it up to me and that I would get a call on Monday. Not only did I not get a call, but I have not heard one single word from Abodian since that Friday. Hands down, the worst experience I have ever had with a company. It is bad enough that you wasted my time, but no follow up after the fact. I strongly encourage anyone to look elsewhere if you are looking for cabinets.
