After standing for a few hours, I really regretted not getting a ticketed seat for myself. So in the future, I'm glad that I have that option. Once you enter The Shed, you take the escalator upstairs to get to the concert hall. At the end of the concert, the doors open and lead you out right next to The Vessel so I thought that was a nice visual perk at the end of the concert. I hope I get a chance to come back and get to walk around the place and see a little bit more of it.

Theater review: seating was 3 escalator flights up where most seats were good ones. Comfortable folding style chairs with the theater exhibiting good lighting and audio. There was a mobile bar during intermission that offered wine, water and soda for purchase. I didn't see any merchandise for sale. Production review: When I learned Tom Hanks would be performing Off Broadway in "This World of Tomorrow", I was eager to get tickets. Although the production is Off Broadway, the prices were definitely Broadway and no surprise there with headliner Tom Hanks--one of my top favorite actors of all time--in the starring role. The play takes place in the year 2089 and is all about time travel with Hanks' character--Bert--traveling back to 1939 during New York's World Fair. Without giving anything away, the storyline explores themes on falling in love, technology and what makes life meaningful. We really enjoyed the production which runs through December 21. Overall, it received positive reviews. Some were mixed and in my opinion, I thought the play should have been shaved down by 20 -30 minutes (it was 2 hours + 15 min with intermission). As a Tom Hanks fan, it was truly a delightful treat on a holiday weekend.

Excellent acoustics and high-end electronic equipment help the speakers and performers give their best. A recent sold-out lecture by Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer was inspiring, challenging and warmly entertaining. It was followed by a marvelous chamber music concert featuring a collection mostly contemporary works influenced by a connection with nature. Grace Farms' mission is to support nature, arts, justice, community and faith. It's a much-appreciated place to refocus and refuel in these difficult times.

A local cultural arts center introduces active civilian's not only to the local scout or brownie bake sales, but a wonderful on going venue to express and experience a wide variety of typical and not so typical events. We've been to; concerts both in the auditorium and the outside stage, dance recitals, tumbling, expo's, network shops, food shows, plays and fairs. Of course EB day takes place here along of course with the 4th of July sensational fire works display which left our entire group covered in ash, lol ( perhaps they should check wind direction and crowd proximity next year ). The building is fairly modern and the staff always friendly. Tons of parking both on the grounds or through the Heavenly Farms fields. Unfortunately EB being one of the largest commuter towns in central NJ doesn't have a true Mayberry type Main street and really no place to collaborate with fellow local brethren. So come on out and meet your friends, neighbors, officials and be apart of the community, you owe it to yourself and your family.

Local gem and creative events…read more Visited with some family going to see some of the local history. Staff were super welcoming and I was blown away by the photos of the Inwood/Washington Heights before the subway was introduced uptown. The vast swath of farm land and this farmhouse is one place to see how it looks in that bucolic time period. The backyard had a hessian hut of what the military groups used during the historical time period. It is fascinating to think about so much history that took place across the last four centuries in Manhattan and previous to the European arrivals. Thank you for having a local spot for people to learn about history. Great value.

The Farmhouse was closed but it was still worth visiting and mulling over how they farmed on all that rocky terrain.

When we first arrived at Magazzino, staff let us view the Antonio Marras and Maria Lai: Llencols De Aigua Installation- this will be there until January 2026. All of us visitors were then told that some areas are not open to the public at this time. This promopted the woman at the front desk in this specific building to state that museum general admission is 1/2 price per person ($10 instead of $20) and that she could only take one form of payment. Because we wanted to pay cash, we were told that we can pay admission in the next nearby building w/ separate staff. It was nice weather that day, & we enjoyed walking on the property to the next building. Although a portion of the space was closed to patrons, we got to see some artwork w/ in Robert Olnick Pavilion, which was created in 2023. This included the Arte Povera which is their Permanent Collection. The architectural design of Magazzino Italian Art is modern & beautiful in its simplicity. Magazzino has lots of campus-style open space w/ beautifully massive windows & gorgeous greenery. A water feature & open walkway between one gallery to another completes the nice minimalist aesthetic.
