New Milford, NJ 07746 $18.99 Lunch special: Hackensack Musket Haze Draft Beer Smash Cheeseburger Fries I encountered this deal from a leaflet that was placed on my front door, so I decided to stop by on a weekday afternoon. The lunch offer is valid Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 4 PM. Hackensack Musket Haze Draft Beef: There was a variety of ten different draft beers to select. I don't order from the tap often, so I wasn't familiar with the beers. Before making my decision, Server Marcos was kind enough to let me sample it to be sure I I would like it. The IPA was fantastic. It was served chilled with a bit of foam up top. There was a hint of citrus and it had a smooth taste. Unfortunately, free refills are not included with the lunch special. Smash Cheeseburger & Fries: This is a perfect lunch serving portion as it will definitely keep you full until supper time. The double patty was served on a potato roll with special sauce and toppings; it didn't disappoint. The proportion of fries could have been a bit larger, but it they were still tasty. There are several flat screen HDTVs for patrons that enjoy watching sports as they wine and dine. If you enjoy the nightlife or clubbing atmosphere, a silver disco ball is adorned at the center of the restaurant. There is a decently sized outdoor seating area, which includes one semi-circular booth. As a bonus, if you want to purchase any bottled or canned beverages to bring home, there is a liquor store conveniently attached to the pub. This was a great lunch deal and if you need a quick meal in the middle of the day, stop by Barrel and Brew today! #barrelandbrew #barrelandbrewcraftbar #barrelandbrewlunchspecial #barrelandbrewwineandspirits

For an "upscale casual" place, this isn't just overpriced but misleading. The food itself wasn't bad, but the portion completely killed the experience. If you're ordering from Barrel & Brew, just know what you're getting into. This felt more like a joke than a dish.

Despite living in this area for 15 years, I had no clue a club like Feathers was so nearby. Thanks…read moreto my good friend Eloy, a superstar Yelp Elite, who organized a meetup with few other Elites at Feathers. He also told us about the parking lot across the club where everyone parks conveniently to visit the club. We went to the club around 11pm, cover was $10 per person. The security at the door was impressive as the security personnel checked our IDs and had metal detector. Upon entering, we saw the club had free for guests to celebrate their 47th anniversary. The club had two floors. Both floor had bars and separate DJs jamming. First floor was more for hangout and gossip. Second floor had the larger dance floor where most people were partying. The DJ on second floor had some really good bits, but at times some dull ones too. There was also security personnel on second floor as well. They also got an outdoor backyard like place with benches and shacks for guests to hangout. Here they also placed a bar for guests to hangout and have drinks. Overall we had a wonderful hour and a half here. We had drinks, lots of dance groves and finally some nice chit chat in the outdoor space. Now that we had the experience, we will come to Feathers more often than going all the way to the city for clubbing.

Music was great. Mix of millennial and current music. Go-Go boys came in around midnight. That was a wonderful surprise. 2 bars on top, 1 at the first level and 1 at outside area. Bartenders were very friendly and efficient. Drink was good. It was the 47 anniversary so there was some free food, which was cool but I didn't eat any. Overall a solid spot for good music and night out. I definitely will bring more friends here.

The play area itself was very clean. We went on a Sunday and it was super chill, not packed at all. Paid $27 because I needed socks. There were two men and one girl working at the front. They were attentive to any kids attempting to leave ( mine included lol). The girl was constantly cleaning, organizing, and restocking the entire time. The men, however, were mostly on their phones, and the reason it bothered me was because the place was nearly empty and the bathroom clearly needed attention. One of them even heard me mention it on the way out and still didn't bother to check it. If my toddler had been potty trained, I honestly would've left to take her somewhere else to use the bathroom. I was really disappointed because when you're serving children, cleanliness should be a priority throughout the entire establishment. If the place had been packed or they seemed understaffed, I probably wouldn't have gone out of my way to mention it, but in this case it just didn't make sense.

This also is a tougher place to go for younger toddlers because they design it so that parents have to hunch in half to fit and it's difficult to follow a 1 year old around. Also, the guy who works here hates kids and hates his job. It's very obvious he is miserable and not friendly

I was excited to check out this local sports bar in Lodi after seeing all of the positive reviews…read more Honestly, it was a little underwhelming for me. Maybe I just ordered the "wrong things". Either way, my experience didn't live up to the hype. I visited on a late Saturday night. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant. The entrance can be tricky to find... It's located in the back on the left-hand side. The exterior and interior are both pretty dark, dull, and dingy. It's not the most inviting atmosphere at first. It has a divey, industrial, and rustic vibe to it, but hey... sometimes the best food comes from places that don't look like much. So I try not to judge. It wasn't too busy, and the service was attentive. The menu has your classic American comfort food - wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They switch it up with daily specials like skirt steak, chicken parm, and pasta. They have a full bar with cocktails, drafts, bottled beers, can ciders, and wines. You can even do a four-beer flight and make it a tasting experience! I ordered: *Dark & Stormy Cocktail [Goslings Dark Rum, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice] ($14) - Not the best one I've had, but it was solid. If you like ginger and rum, this is a must try. The dark rum has hints of caramel which works really well with the spicy ginger beer. The lime juice adds a citrus kick, so it's a really refreshing drink. *Margarita ($18) - As a tequila girly, I've had my fair share of margaritas. This one didn't do it for me. It was a little too sour/tart, which overpowered everything else. *Cubano Sandwich [includes roast pork, black forest ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, and mustard with side of fries] ($16) - I wasn't expecting an authentic Cubano from an American sports bar, so my expectations weren't super high. This was good, but not great. The pork was flavorful, but could've been more tender. I wish there were more pickles and mayo for that extra tangy crunch. The bread was pressed a little too hard, so it was a bit tough to bite through. *Double Blackened Chicken Breast Sandwich [includes pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, red peppers, and red onion on brioche with side of fries] ($18) - This was huge and filling! They did not skimp out on the protein. The brioche bun was soft and buttery. The chicken was well seasoned - smoky and savory with crispy charred edges. BUT... to my disappointment, the inside was dry and not juicy at all. Another small issue was the ratio - There was so much chicken compared to the rest of the toppings, so it wasn't the most cohesive sandwich. It really needed more cheese and chipotle mayo to tie all the flavors together. The fries were the best part - thick, crispy, and golden! It's decent bar food, just not the best I've had. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great or memorable. For the price, I didn't feel it was worth it. I do appreciate that their food is served piping hot and fresh. To be fair, this is probably the perfect spot for beer lovers. I happen to not be one, lol. The burger options sound popular and promising too. I'd consider giving them another shot for Happy Hour or to try a burger, but it's not at the top of my list. Just because it's not the sports bar for me, doesn't mean it won't be the one for you.

This style developed from the French-speaking Acadians who were chased out of Canada following the French and Indian War in the 18th century. They settled in Louisiana and adapted their cooking to the local ingredients. Located on Teaneck Road in Teaneck, we were recommended this establishment for their soft opening dinner by our friends. A reservation was made by calling this restaurant. Upon arrival, my partner, our friends, and I managed to find parking shared with other stores. We were excited to try out Creole / Cajun cuisine as first-timers at Medley's Bayou. For some of us, Cajun food usually has a kick to it. Contrary to popular belief, an authentically prepared Cajun dish does not involve eye-watering heat. Greeted by the host at the door, we made our way to a table inside their small, warm, and inviting vibe with a stage for live music. The selective menu features fresh, lively, made-to-order Louisiana-inspired classics. As an appetizer, we decided on Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and Jumbo Lump Crab Bisque Soup. For our main meal, we opted for the Ribeye Steak with Spanish Rice, Ribeye Steak with Cajun Fries, Stuffed Lobster Tail with Crab, and Lemon & Herb Chicken. Complimentary Teriyaki & Fresh Ginger Wings and Pineapple Cornbread started our meal. Our meal took a while, but we knew it was made fresh: nothing frozen or re-heated. The food was bold and more about the layering of smoky, garlicky, peppery flavors than about heat. I was so looking forward to some beignets and sadly didn't have them, which calls for another visit. The portions were just right, and the price was comparable to the area. Our server was Heather, who was friendly and made sure our glass was filled. Howard, the owner and head chef, welcomed every patron by making small talk. Those who have never tasted Louisiana-inspired food need only try it once to experience the richness and depth of its flavors.
