First, I want to start by saying my car‑buying experience with the sales team was amazing. My salesperson was Kenny, with the assistance of Donnie, and they both went above and beyond to secure financing for me. I left the dealership discouraged at first because we couldn't get financing on the car I originally wanted. But that night and the next day, they continued working and were able to get me approved for an alternate vehicle. That effort alone was a blessing, and I truly appreciate the time and dedication they put in. Kenny even made sure I received an extra key since the car only came with one. Here's where the stars drop. The vehicle I purchased was used--which I expected and had no issue with. I loved the car. I test‑drove it at night and looked it over briefly the evening before. But when I went and check it out at home the next day and finally had the chance to really inspect everything in daylight, I was shocked. The car was filthy. Not "missed a spot" dirty--completely uncleaned. Food packed around the seat belts Stains and smudges on the ceiling Liquid runs down the doors Mats not moved, floors not vacuumed Trunk still dirty It looked like it had been traded in, a sticker slapped on it and immediately put up for sale. I spent three hours wiping down as much as I could myself. I messaged Kenny, and he agreed the car needed to be cleaned properly. Since they needed the car to program the extra key anyway, he said the prep department would do a thorough cleaning. After getting the car back... it was the same. Nothing had been addressed. The same food, the same dirt, the same untouched areas. I ended up having to clean it myself again and now have to pay a professional detailer to get it to the standard it should have been at purchase. Was even worth the text to ask for a fix because I know it wouldn't have been done! I am honestly beyond disappointed in the prep department. The sales experience was a 5/5, but the vehicle cleanliness was a -10/10. The lack of care on the prep side is unacceptable. Lesson learned: When buying used from this dealership, check every part of the car before signing. The sales team cares--but the prep department clearly does not. read more

I gave them a number I needed to be at, never got there, contacted back a couple of days later and reached the deal I needed, told them great, now I can talk to my wife about it, couple of days went by as we were deciding whether or not to do it and I get a text, 1 You want the truck 2 your wife said no!! Attempting to charge for an oil filter($135); for an issue covered under warranty; despite the fact the FCA warranty manual states filters are covered if part of a covered repair. Last time I was there I was told all four tires needed replacing. Went to Mcarthy Tire and was told that was a rip off and they didn't need replacing (had lots of tread left). Mcarthy changed $30 to repair a slow leak. It takes forever to get an appointment. I called today with a critical safety issue and it's going to be several days before they can take a look. When you call, normally no one answers service. I really wish there was another Jeep dealership so I didn't have to give them any business. read more

When I call to check on the status I get sent to voice mail. When I do get a response, it's "Your warranty is under review.". They also "claimed" to contact my insurance company. After waiting 2 weeks I found out they never did. Almost causing a lapse in my insurance "which can result in a $5k fine and suspension of license for 30 days. The staff is friendly and overall it was a good experience. The sales people are not very pushy which is always nice. The two negatives are when we traded in our Range Rover Discovery Sport they claimed they couldn't pay as much because they weren't the Land Rover dealer and that they wouldn't just send it down there. Well, they didn't reset the tracking of it so I open my app a couple days later and well...it was at the Land Rover dealership. Not really mad because I saw that coming but they still should just be honest. Secondly, their parts department was supposed to order a part I wanted for my new Dodge Durango we bought from them. They told me it was backordered so it would be a while. Yeah they never called so clearly it was never ordered. We are happy with our Durango and the price we paid. Anytime we have it serviced there they are quick and friendly. We might go there again for our next vehicle purchase but I will say from my experience if you are willing to drive a few hours you can normally find better deals. read more

Berglund Ram service department is the worst experience I have ever had. Been trying to get satisfaction for over 7 weeks on a driver side sun visor. From the service advisors to the service director they are about worthless. First In mid January when I took my 2020 Ram in because the driver side sun visor broke and was hanging in my field of view I spoke to Dan Prytulak. I was the only customer in the service department at that time. I asked if he wanted to look at the visor and he said no. I told him it would probably need to be replaced and he agreed. Again I asked if he wanted to look at it so he could order a new one and again he said no. He made me an appointment to get an oil change and fix the visor for Feb 14 which was over 3 weeks away. On Feb 14 after they did the oil change they informed me they had to order the new visor. I said they should have done that 3 weeks ago. I spoke to service director Don Winchester and he acted like he cared but he did not. When I got home I looked up the sun visor on line and Ram could have it to me within 3 days. On March 3rd I called Berglund parts dept. and was told it had not been ordered. He said he would order it and it would be in on Saturday. Today March 7th I got a call wanting to set up an appt. to install the new visor. I told them after 7 weeks of being treated like crap I wanted something for my trouble. After several phone calls they said they would give me nothing. I dont even think I am going too get the visor. Thank god I have the papers from the Feb 14th appointment that states they were ordering the part and it would be there in One day. Sounds like breach of contract to me. During our conversation, he expressed his displeasure with my review and seemed puzzled by my reasons for leaving it. Unfortunately, my concerns, which date back to when I initially dropped off my vehicle on August 31st, remain unresolved. I genuinely believe the manager attempted to persuade me to delete my review, insinuating that it could negatively impact the service manager. I must clarify that it is not my intention to cause repercussions for Berglund's employees due to the company's business practices. My review was prompted by my dissatisfaction with the service I have received. I was informed that I could retrieve my vehicle on September 23rd while waiting for backordered parts to arrive. However, upon arriving at the dealership, I encountered an unexpected issue - my vehicle refused to start. It had been functioning perfectly when I initially brought it in for service. Curiously, nobody could provide an explanation for the sudden issue. When I arrived, I noticed that the hood was already raised, suggesting that they were aware of the problem but chose not to inform me. They jump-started my vehicle and assured me that everything was fine. Regrettably, my vehicle now refuses to start again, leaving it stranded at my home. I have made over 20 calls to the dealership today in an attempt to inform them of this situation, but none of my calls were answered. It is disheartening that I must resort to leaving reviews to initiate communication. Berglund Chrysler needs to address this situation promptly and rectify the ongoing issues before i seek legal counsel and how to proceed. I scheduled service here to have a recall done on my Jeep, as well has having a transmission issue looked at. The service team was quick to get back to me within a few hours for the transmission diagnosis. The transmission service and recall were completed the same day the vehicle was dropped off, which was good. I was also happy to learn that they offer a shuttle service to and from home since I was dropping my vehicle off for the day and didn't have a ride back. I did experience a bit of frustration in regards to picking my vehicle up. I was not able to pick up the vehicle the during business hours, so I took care of payment over the phone. During the call I asked that the spare key and paperwork be locked in the vehicle on the lot for me to pick up after hours. Upon getting to the dealership, my vehicle was not in the area they said they had parked it, so it took a bit of time aimlessly driving around the lot before I spotted it. Once I found it, I opened the door to find no key and no paperwork. Since it was a weekend and they weren't open, I left with the vehicle thinking I'd call in the morning to find out the situation. I ended up having to call in three different times over a span of 4 hours until I got in touch with someone that knew where my key and paperwork ended up, and not just being forwarded to an answering machine. I understand that there can be change-of-hands errors between technician and front desk personnel in regards to customer requests. However, I didn't anticipate having to drive around the building's lot to look for my vehicle, driving back the next day for keys and paperwork, or spending more than 15 minutes on the phone trying to find out what happened. This isn't a big enough deal for me to stop going here, but it was definitely frustrating to deal with the seemingly disjointed performance between the service desk and the technician handling my vehicle. read more

ago Do not trust this dealer.The sale team will tell you anything to make the sale.We purchased a 2016 jeep from the with very low miles .I was told the salesperson knew the previous owner and if anything was wrong with it he would have known..we bought the jeep for a fair price after driving over 4 hrs to get there .We test drove the jeep and noticed it was a little wild on the back roads and was told by the salesperson that the oversized tires do that on the backroads ..We bought the jeep and started driving it back to va beach .30 miles in my wife calls me from the jeep and says she cannot control the jeep that it is scaring her.I pull it over and drive it myself for another 20 minutes until I feel the same way.I called the salesperson and told him what was going on and he told me it might be the tire pressure ..I told him I would have the jeep checked out when I got home and let him know he said ok.I then went to a trailer company and bought a trailer to get my new 35k jeep home .after returning home and waiting 2 weeks for the shop to fit me in i got it checked and was told the front end was worn out and needs over 3000 in repairs .I called the salesperson and let him know what was going on .I was told well I dont know how that can be true because we just did a safety Inspection and it passed. I told them they could come and get it and fix it or pay me back .they decided to pick it up and fix it .After 2 days the jeep was picked up and so far I felt like it would be ok and i would be happy ...THIS IS WHERE IT ALL CHANGED ...After getting the jeep 3 weeks pass with not contact. I called them 27 times to get no calls back .Finally after leaving a threatening voice mail about going to court the gm mr Frazier called me and told me he would take care of it .He said you should have let me know as soon as it happened I told him I had let his sales staff know about it the day I got it .He said he would look into it .after 2 more days and several calls to him I finally got a call back mr Frazier said there was nothing wrong with the jeep and the tires are bad he was going to put new tires on it .I told him please do that and let me know when it was done..I was told 2 more days .5 days later and 10 more calls no answer 10 days later and 18 more calls I finally get him back on the phone and he says tires are here but not on that it was getting done that day and he was going to align the front end after. I have made over 40 calls to this dealership and paid 3 months of car payments for them to still have my jeep ..After I was told every lie there was to tell me I asked for my money back or court we were headed.I was told they would do so but not all of my money. I took my car for a multi-point inspection to specifically see what work needs done to my car and to fix it. After finally getting an appointment, I took a day from work and risked leaving quarantine to make the appointment. I wasn't treated very professionally by William for starters. I'm not sure if he even checked my appointment for my car information. He had me stand there and watch as he took a flashlight just to my wheels and looked under my hood at the oil level. That's it. When I asked him to verify if my oil sensor needed replaced, he said "everyone decided to take an easy day" and that he couldn't take it to get checked. I then asked if my car needed a tune up. He didn't look to see what my mileage was when he was in the vehicle to tell me that yes I need a tune up. If he would have done a thorough job and checked my customer history, he would've known that my filters need replaced. I wasted my time at this service center and don't plan to go back. It's a shame because I bought my Chrysler from them and wanted to make sure I got the quality service with it as well. Not true. read more

Today I took my challenger in for a simple airbag recall and inspection. When I got there and was greeted they took my information and said it would only take about an hour to an hour and a half and that they would call me when it was done. Two and a half hours later I called the dealership after not hearing anything back. The rep on the phone put me on hold to check on my car and when he came back on the line he said he "could not find my car" or any information on it. After being asked for my information again and after being put on hold two more times, I asked if I should make a trip down and he assured me he would find my car and call me right back. I waited an hour with no word and then headed straight down to the dealership. Not only did they still not have the info on my car, it was NOT fixed. They had my name wrong, even though I know for a fact that I spelled my first and last name numerous times, both while making the appointment and when I brought my car in for service. After everything was said and done and they "found" my car and returned it to me, I got home and noticed at least FOUR GOUGES on my windows that were 100% not there prior to my appointment, presumably from service techs leaning on it with their coat zippers. I check my car DAILY for scratches and dents because i live in the city. Needless to say i DO NOT and will NEVER recommend Berglund Chrysler. So disappointed that a dealership isn't able to take care of their clients cars. If I could give a negative review, I would. read more

I took my 2021 Ram 3500 to them for a recall and tailgate issue, after almost 2 moths of stringing me along they told me since I didn't buy it there there was nothing they could do for my tailgate warranty wise. I later find out Berglund submitted to Ram that I have modified my truck with a bed cover (the same bed cover that Berglund puts on trucks) at the same time I have paper work stating the tailgate latch is a recall by Berglund . Berglund will do anything to get out of warranty repairs ,the service department is very unprofessional. I've tried to deal with Berglund in the past with no success ,I will not be back after this total waste of time and extra cost of money , they only care about the almighty dollar ,customer service is gone especially at Berglund. I tried a week earlier to purchase a part for another car from Berglund and was told my car didn't have that part on It (which I was holding that part in my hand ) parts person said since the computer said my vehicle didn't have that part that he could not sell me the part. Scheduling appointments is a nightmare. Dealing with the shuttle driver is worse. Once the lady who handles appointments got him on the phone I asked if he had a direct line and when I asked him to repeat the number he said I already gave it to you. Like WTF dude where is your customer service skills. Should have him fired. If I didn't buy my new truck there I would have it serviced elsewhere. Makes me want to do my own oil changes rather than dealing with these clowns. I bought my truck a year ago and since then they've gone through at least two service managers I know of ... nobody ever returns your calls. Not the parts department or service department. I have purchased two automobiles, two pick-up trucks and one Jeep from Berglund. Their sales staff is alway great to work with and I have always gotten a fair deal. I would give the dealership a five star rating if not for their horrible phone system. I ordered a part for my 2018 Jeep six weeks ago. The part came in and I received a notice in the mail that the part was in and to go ahead and call Service for an appointment. Well I started calling the Service Department three weeks ago. Today I went through their Operator who was apparently able to physically grab someone from Service to speak with me. Once on the phone, he was very nice; got an appointment next week, etc. But for Gods' Sake get a phone system that actually puts you through to real people!!! read more

Called the service department twice the first time I was hung up on, the second time I called and asked about pm appointments for the same day and the gentlemen said they had nothing available and I asked for the next day... The gentlemen was quiet and then finally said we don't do oil changes /service after 3 pm. I asked if they had a day with evening appointments nothing was said by the gentleman answering the phone... No answer or comment nothing in response for about a minute. Finally the gentleman said that they were open on Saturday. And that was it nothing else... For customer service he should have provided dates and times that he had available for oil change -- it was like pulling teeth to get an answer. This service was equivalent to the unionized auto mechanics workers in Detroit Michigan. I was not expecting this poor of customer service for an out of town jeep owner... I have only great things to say about my experience buying from Berglund. The salesman, Wells Selbe, was extremely helpful. He drove me to multiple dealerships to find the right car for me, and stayed after closing hours to finish up my deal. I don't have any complaints about the car either, for a used car it was in new condition and I took it home that night perfectly clean. I would have given 1/2 star if possible. The sales team is good as my wife and I have purchased a few vehicles from Berglund. HOWEVER, the service center and customer service is terrible at Berglund. I have taken my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee in for several warranty recalls. On two occasions they performed work, replaced oil and oil filter and the second time replaced the cabin air filter which was not requested and I had to argue to have them removed from the invoice. As other posters have commented it is very difficult to speak to an actual service advisor on your initial call and I have NEVER had a service advisor return a call. On another occasion the check engine light indicated an exhaust sensor needed to be replaced, the replacement sensor was only available from Mopar so it was back to Berglund. I received a quote from the service manager of $350 do complete the work. With a scheduled replacement of one day. When I called at 3:00 PM that day I was told the Jeep would be ready for pick up by 5:00 PM that day. When I returned to pick the Jeep up around 6:00 PM it was not ready and the after hours sales team could not find any paper work. We finally found the Jeep sitting out side behind the garage. I called back the next day and was told they had ordered the wrong sensor and told the Jeep was ready. However, when I returned at 4:30 PM to pick the Jeep up it still was not ready and the bill was over $750. After arguing with the Service Manager for about 30 minutes; luckily I had saved the date, time, part price and estimated labor hours he had told me earlier; he finally agreed to reduce the bill to the original estimate of $350. In the future I plan on taking my Jeep to Shelor's Automotive Jeep in Christiansburg for service. read more
