I am so glad I found this place!…read more I hadn't been to the dentist in a while; after a horrific first-time-back experience elsewhere, I had developed severe dental anxiety. Dr. Crist and the team went above and beyond ensuring I felt comfortable the entire time. I'm also extremely grateful for the patience of the staff when going over my treatments, what was covered by insurance, and payment options. My teeth finally feel in shape and I am confident I'm back on track for a healthy smile! I was able to book a new patient appointment online and waitlist for an earlier opening- which did open up. During my appointment I had both the exam and a cleaning done. Thank you so much!

I would like to highlight a marketing tool created by a cooperation inorder to trick a patient into…read morebelieving that they are getting a discounted price. That tool would be The Smile Generation Fee schedule. for anyone who maybe contemplating choosing this dentist office and who is underinsured or not insured, this plan will be integrated into your estimate. if you agree to the work that is listed you will be charged around $119 to use this plan in order to receive the discount. for me the savings was over $10,000. so thats the hook. unbelievable savings presented to you as if these savings are real..THEY ARE NOT. ask for a fee schedule. the fine print states all pricing is what a general dentist would charge, but 80 percent of the procedures need a specialist. in this case`you receive a twenty percent discount off the specialist 'reasonable rate" for each procedure, the discounted price charged by the specialist will always be more than the Fee Schedule. the result is a large discount on your estimate but in reality you just paying what a surgeon would normally charge. you would think that if your paying $119 to use this SMILE GENERATION PLAN and receive the discounts associated with the fee schedule then all procedures and products you purchaced would be quoted directly from the fee schdule to your estimate. for me that was not the case. I was charged around $36,309, only an onlay($932) can be found on my estimate and the SMILE GENERRATION FEE SCHEDULE. that is to say only 2.5% of what I paid was quoted from the SGFS. FROM the remaining amount I was charged, only the abutments ($2800), the bottom partial denture($2091), and an over denture were on my bill and the SGFS. these items were priced lower on my bill than what I was quoted yet Bailey, the office manager, tried to tell me the change in price constituted an additional discount, on paper it certainly did but in actual savings it defiantly did not. in the end approx $28,576 and the 20% discount associated with my estimate did not originate from the SGFS but rather came from my surgeons "reasonable rates" and his %20 discount. it bears repeating only %20 of my total costs had anything to do with the SGFS.that is unacceptable. one last anecdote. I had multiple teeth pulled and for that I was charged for a surgical extraction. something didn't feel right so I questioned the difference between a surgical extraction and a simple extraction. the removal of bone and or sectioning would constitute a surgical extraction. I requested the doctors notes and written in the notes my surgeon wrote there was no sectioning or bone removal. it took almost 6 months but the dentist had to reimburse me the difference. altogether I was able to claw back around $6000. all of this should give you pause, but what I find to be the most egregious is the dentist found it necessary to cut ties with me. they had no problem overcharging me, ordering products I couldn't use , charging me for a miscellaneous procedure that never happened and having me prepay for a product I never received. they wanted my business. but after the the last reimbursement check was mailed to me, they decided that our "trust" had been broken. it seems like being taken advantage of is a prerecquisite for staying a patient. allegedly

Instead, without my consent, he ground that tooth down to eliminate the chip, removing tooth volume and curving my otherwise straight tooth. Without my consent, he then ground my top right front tooth and curved it in a botched attempt to create symmetry. When I told him that I was upset that he did work without my consent and that it looked bad, I expected him to say that he would work with me to make it right. Instead, he told me that he felt threatened and was terminating our doctor-patient relationship. This guy is a nightmare! I've attached a photo showing the unconsented work performed by Dr Haynie on my top two front teeth. The top right front tooth had no issues but Dr Haynie removed significant volume from the interior portion, turning it into a snarl tooth. Looking at the far right edge of the top right front tooth, move left all the way across my top left front tooth and you will have a sense of how much tooth volume Dr Haynie removed from my top left front tooth, also without my consent. Also note that he curved the top left front tooth, giving it an unaesthetic appearance. If you want a dentist to only perform work you consent to or otherwise stand behind the work they perform, do NOT go to Dr Haynie. Also, not every dentist is an artist or has good taste, meaning not every dentist should be performing cosmetic work. Dr Haynie should NOT be performing cosmetic dentistry.

I moved out of state and with our schedule i haven't been able to go back so i called last Friday 10/27 to ask if i could get some of my money back. I understand I would not get the full amount. They gave me an estimate of 1200, she's only been seen there twice. Nicole said since my daughter has only been seen twice she wanted to ask the doctor about getting me more back. I said I was fine with the 1200 but she insisted and said she'd call me back either Monday or Tuesday. That she would for sure hear something by then. BS. I waited, no call. Wednesday 11/1 and left a message. On their voicemail it says they would get back within 24 hours. No call. My husband called and an older woman answers and takes a message. Today 11/3 i left an angry voicemail. And finally get a callback. Nicole now states I'll get around 1000 back and the dr needs to approve it but he's been out of the office all week. So what is it he needs to approve it, or you wanted to ask him if it was ok to see if I could get more money back? Anyway they seem to be always out the office so why would you want to get your braces there. Anyway it sucks to have to make a bad review because I used to take my kids to his brothers dentist office and of course he recommended his brother for orthodontics. I regret that decision.
