I contacted ASP Swimming pools in August 2018 due to a dying pool filtration system, and to convert…read morefrom chlorine to salt filtration GM came out, and installed new timer, salt chlorine generator (the very expensive ichlor30) and new intermatic timer in late august. He told me I'd need to clean the salt chlorine generator every 3 months in muriatic acid, or it could damage the salt chlorine generator. 2 months after installation (early October) the salt chlorine generator went defective. GM came out and said it didn't look like like a manufacturers defect. The ASP GM said he would call pentair (the ichlor manufacturer) and just tell them the system stopped working. they had a discussion and decided to replace the ichlor salt chlorine generator - though that didn't happen till late October. also the timer on the intermatic system went defective during this time for reasons that were never made clear to me. the intermatic unit worked, but the timer dial inside it, did not. i had to manually turn the system off/on. After ASP replaced the salt chlorine generator and intermatic pool timer, they installed an "indoor" intermatic timer that was certified for the wrong voltage. i didn't figure this out till i called my electrician and he had discovered it. ASP's general manager said he didn't agree with my electrician even though he never explained why, and even though my electrician was correct --- the intermatic timer clearly said "for indoor use only" and also showed that it was rated for the wrong voltage on the sticker inside the intermatic unit. Reluctantly ASP came out just before thanksgiving while i was out of town and replaced the intermatic timer again. when i got home a few days after they installed the 3rd intermatic timer --- it once again did not work. the intermatic unit was an outdoor unit this time, but the timer was again defective. i called ASP and even though the timer was under warranty, they said they would not replace it again because it "was not a manufacturers defect". i asked the GM to explain how it wasn't a manufacturers defect, but he couldn't provide me an answer, and refused to fix it unless i paid him the price of another unit "in good faith" -- whatever the heck that means. in good faith they should honor the warranties of the defective products they sell and treat their customers better. The ASP GM said the labor was getting too expensive. i told him that while i understood the costs associated to labor, that it was an expensive for me to have paid them so much money and get so little return on what i thought was going to be a good investment. ASP's GM failed to deliver me the quality product he sold me on. after a few days stalemate, I realized i had no options or higher authority to report this complaint to, and he wasn't about to help anymore... so i reluctantly agreed to pay the price for another new timer. When the ASP technician came out to replace the intermatic timer for the 4th time my ichlor salt chlorine generator was working fine that morning. after the tech replaced the timer, my salt chlorine generator unit appeared to lose power. i contacted ASP about this and they said my salt chlorine generator was "defective". ‍ so let me guess - my fault again, right? i let the GM know that i was unhappy with their service and that he better not try to blame me again, which is apparently all ASP is good at (blaming the customer for either bad technicians or bad products). surprisingly, ASP actually decided to honor a manufacturer's warranty without hassle! i had to pinch myself. they actually came out and fixed something that they broke. so they did end up replacing the salt chlorine generator - i'm now on my 3rd one now (as of February 2019), and the new intermatic timer that i have paid for twice (the fourth one in 6 months) installed 2 weeks ago... once again doesn't have a working timer. the timer dial works when i turn it on, but it stops working once it turns off. it is supposed to work around the clock as long as electricity is running to it. So that is my experience with ASP. they have tried to lead me to believe that i am the only customer who has ever had problems with their service or the malfunctioning products. Who knows, maybe i am - but to have this many problems, i think it may not be a coincidence, and perhaps i am not the only customer out there that has had a bad experience with them. i'm really disappointed in the customer service that i have received from ASP, considering i've spent well over $4,000 on their equipment and services. I am only putting this out there in case anyone else has had a similar experience and hasn't shared it, and to hopefully help someone avoid a similar situation.

I would highly recommend ASP to anyone who wants it done right the first time…read more Cody and the crew were awesome, very informative and answered any questions I may have had throughout the whole process. We are very happy with our new pool! Looking forward to summertime!

Great experience working with Daniel and Into the Blue!!…read more I found this company on google and called them during the winter because of their great reviews! I'd hate to say the bad review below is a one off experience.... but it definitely was (sorry dude!) Into the blue cleaned my swampy green pool and brought it up to speed at the beginning of summer. They did a great job with the cleaning, so we use them for routine maintenance once a week.. they have been a great company to work with and on top of my weekly routine, they have also come to trouble shoot other small issues ( fixed our pool pump and patched our liner). They did this in a cost efficient manner which made me very happy! Recently I discovered a leak on the pool (this had nothing to do with into the blue), I called them to come take a look at which point they recommended a new liner (mine was over 10 years old)! I trusted their opinion and asked for a quote from them as well as a few other companies. The quote furnished was competitive and ultimately I went with into the blue based on price and previously working with them.. A process I thought would take a couple of weeks was completed in 2 days! My liner looks beautiful and we even got the pool open in time to enjoy the last few weeks of summer!! Yippeee If you need an affordable pool company who you can trust, into the blue is the company for you. Please be aware that this review is from a CUSTOMER, not 'former friend'. If you don't trust my review, there are several other great reviews on their Google page :) Thanks into the blue!

I would give them no stars but this app will not give you that ability. We had a new liner and cove…read moreinstalled last year and from the start and throughout the project they have failed to go their work professionally, timely and correctly. The liner wasn't installed correctly and from the start pulled loose in several places. Because they waited so long to install the liner even though we placed our order the first week of July, with all of their delays, they didn't finish the install till October. They said it was too cold to fix the liner until the spring. I called them May 8th to remind them of the numerous places on the liner that were pulling loose. They said they would be there to finish their work . It is now July 8th and after warning them June 27th of this year that I would give two weeks to finish their work or I would hire someone else to fix our pool. At this time again he promised to send someone out to make the repairs. It's now two weeks later and as usual nobody has shown up. I will hire someone Monday to make the repairs and send them the bill. I will also hire a lawyer to file a suit against this very unprofessional and corrupt business too. Whatever you do find anyone but this company to do your pool work for you, as they very unprofessional and do not keep their word. Sincerely Dennis Coplin
