Spoke to Berry and as I was trying to talk to him, he said "you don't buy much from me". I asked for my sample bottle back but had to walk to where he was and retrieve it. Never felt so disrespected. Berry already has a reputation for being an ASS but I can confirm right now that it is well deserved. I've also purchased a Green Egg and a table for the egg from him along with other miscellaneous items. I don't live in Aiken but still went to him for all my Bioguard supplies. Beware! He doesn't appreciate or need your business. I'm 77 and have had my pool for 35 years. Trust me, you can do better than Berry Pool.

More moths go by. Liner finally installed and contractor left the back yard trashed. Initially they took responsibility but had trouble getting them to come out. Multiple calls and text complaints. Multiple times they said they'd come fix the situation and would never show up or reschedule hours after we were supposed to meet. Absolutely terrible communication. Submitted complaint to the BBB as well and still no resolution. So now, 15 months after the initial payment, I'm having to come out of pocket to pay another company to do the work they were already paid to do. Do not recommend.

We switched to Elite for pool maintenance after the heater install because we found Elite very easy to work with and conscientious. There is a 2 year back up and waiting list for installations standard across major existing companies Pete Alwine, Hefner and Peach Tree Pools. This leaves consumers with the choice of taking a chance on a lesser-known installer, or simply waiting around for one of the big well known 3 to have a spot open up years (not exaggerating) down the road. I was fortunate and lucky to personally know the owner of Rocky Creek Landscaping and for several months we discussed the possibility of Brent branching out to open up a new company for new options for clients like myself. This is where Cool Breeze pools was first born. My intuition was correct and my family made the right choice to hire Cool Breeze Pools to be their first installation here in Augusta. Brent was attentive, and eager to learn and to coordinate my wife and my vision of what we wanted in our back yard, to truly be our Oasis to create forever memories for my family and friends. After deciding our pool we ordered and there is a standard 6 week build time for fiberglass pools. Meanwhile Brent pulled permits, ordered coping and pavers and began to survey our backyard to prepare for excavation. Delivery was smooth and installation was even better. Within 2 weeks of delivery of my pool plus a ten day standard "settling time" for the pool construction was complete. Brent's staff were hard working and able to quickly identify and overcome any potential obstacle to make our dream pool. His Superintendent Donnie, was an amazing operator, and I can't say this enough, changed the entire look and feel to our back yard. Here is the advantage of hiring Cool Breeze Pools, every pool company to my knowledge that currently exists (listed above) does not provide additional landscaping/wall/building/rock moving/paver laying/fire pit, above and beyond the footprint of the pool and would tell you to hire a landscaping crew to do what Brent can with his sister company Rocky Creek and Cool Breeze employees. Brent can do all of those things and more, irrigation, sod, seeding, pool installation, retaining walls, water features, fire pit, walkways, driveways, excavation..... Small company's can make the tightest turns and I am a believer in Cool Breeze and Rocky Creek. ...and with that I give them my highest recommendation! Give them a call, let him know what the other company's are offering and their timelines. Needless to say, it didn't hold up and even had the wrong pump. It was for an above ground pool, not our 16' x 32' pool. Anyway, everything broke down two years ago just when we were getting ready to close it for the season. due to unforeseen circumstance, the pool was never properly closed and it became a giant cement pond that the bullfrogs came to call their own. My husband had tried and I knew something was off because that wasn't like him at all (he's been diagnosed with dementia). Anyway, I saved my money and had Aiken Pools come out and give me an estimate to get this pool back in working order. They were prompt and courteous and professional in every way possible. I'm a professional artist and they were great working around my schedule. The pumped the pool out, installed the new liner, installed the new equipment. Everything was perfect.. we turned it on and it flipped the breaker in the house.. then the pool pump burnt up. They were out the next day to replace it and that pump bit the dust. The electrician came out and changed the breaker, no good.. we had DJ the equipment tech and the electrician out numerous times trying to figure this out. Throughout the entire process Aiken Pool Company went above and beyond in helping us get this pool going.
