I initially was pleased with everyone's efforts at Kearns Motor Car Co--from sales to financing to…read moremanagement. The finance manager worked diligently trying to obtain financing for the balance of the vehicle I selected, and he succeeded which I thoroughly appreciated considering my "challenging" credit issues. Communication with all involved continued but then stopped after several days, this occurring after all documents were signed and updated, my $5100 deposit received, and all information requested by the finance company accepted and documented. By the end of last week, my associate, Josh, estimated that the car would be in transit soon but he could not commit to a definitive date. He assured me that they would work around my schedule so I would be home when their shipper arrived with the vehicle. Out of the blue, I receive a call from the shipper's driver stating he was at my location with the vehicle. My issue here is that no one contacted me with any indication that the shipper planned to arrive on Friday with the vehicle--no phone call, text, or email. I work several hours away from my residence and there was no one available at my home to receive the vehicle. Moreover, I needed to unpack my vehicle and prepare it for the shipper to transport to Kearns. Because of the lack of communication, I had no choice but to call off the deal, Livid by this time, I became frustrated and stressed and demanded back my down payment immediately (which I have not received). Speaking to a manager on Saturday==who spoke with great integrity and kindness--I attempted to try having it shipped again, but the powers to be stated I would have to pay $2600 in shipping costs. Does this seem fair, considering this was no fault of my own, but the responsibility of the dealership and their third party shipping service? Thus, the deal was off and my frustration, stress, and disappointment consumed my entire weekend. The issue here is failure on the part of Kearns to effectively and thoroughly communicate.

Sensors for service the leveling system is on the dash. Dealership refuses to take ownership of the poor transaction that was made. Will be taking legal actions on this. I didn't have the vehicle in my possession for 12 hours. Unreal. Very disappointed in this so called highly ranked dealership.

When I contacted them to explain the situation, they refused to respond. I took it to another repair shop and they tried their best, however it was ultimately deemed irreparable. Finally got ahold of Zach 2 months later. There was no effort to remedy the issue or discuss any reasonable solution. They did offer to charge me $50.00 an hour to look at it AFTER telling me it had a catastrophic electrical failure. It felt like once the sale was complete, customer service no longer mattered. I understand that used cars can come with risks, but a vehicle failing almost immediately raises serious concerns about how it was inspected or represented before sale. I would strongly caution others to be very careful when considering buying a vehicle from this dealer. Make sure to get an independent inspection and understand exactly what you're getting into, because support after the purchase will not be there.

The slogan listed on their website states "Driven to move you," however a more honest and accurate slogan would read "We run thick oil in our vehicles and cross our fingers that it makes it off the lot." These schmucks make Danny Devito in Matilda look like a reputable used car salesman. Save your time, money and sanity by steering clear of these guys!
