Remember when Bertuccis were always packed. Good pizza and service reasonably priced. Well.... First of all the place was empty, that being said our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered the sampler platter which was 3 small meatballs, 2 mozzarella moon's, and 3 chicken wing pieces although it tasted fine the value was not there at $18.99. We also ordered a large sausage and onion pizza which also tasted fine. But again 18.99 for the pizza and up charged 4.00 for sausage and 4.00 for onions creating a 27.00 pizza again value not there. 2 12 Oz Coronas 8.00 a piece and a 16 Oz fountain soda 3.99. Cost 66.00 plus tax and tip for a grand total 86.00. for a pizza, a skimpy appetizer and a couple crappy Coronas. Of course the place was empty. read more

We gave Bertucci's another try after a few years because we received a coupon in the mail for $20 off a minimum purchase of $40. We ordered two Caesar salads and a Margherita pizza. The salads were average at best -- basically just bowls of lettuce for $14 each. The pizza was also disappointing. For some reason, the basil came on the side in a small container instead of being cooked on the pizza, and there was barely any sauce, which made it very dry. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed why we had stopped going in the first place. With so many better local restaurants in the area, we'll continue choosing other options instead of returning to Bertucci's. read more

The order was order to go and as always the food was good and the portion was sufficient for two people or can be eaten in two seatings. Upon arrival the counter staff was able to hand over the order to me. I had to use the toilet and the area was very clean and odor free. read more

Hingham has always been our favorite Bertucci's location, and our recent visit mostly lived up to expectations. Our server (a gentleman whose name we did not catch) was prompt and friendly--exactly the kind of service we've come to appreciate here. We were a bit disappointed to learn that Bertucci's has switched from offering a shareable salad for the table at lunch to individual side salads. We shared ours with the grandkids--the Caesar salad was excellent, but the insalata was skimpy on vegetables and had a few wilted leaves. The signature rolls weren't warm as expected, but they were still soft and crusty. The Menuccis were tasty overall, though the veggie one was a bit heavy on garlic and green pepper. The kids' chicken meal was a hit--crispy, flavorful, and well portioned. Overall, while there were a few small letdowns, we still enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back. read more

Came here Tuesday great on two pizza deal Tuesday but would of been better if the pizza was actually good. Milano pizza use to be favorite till yesterday dried old chicken Margherita pizza with pepperoni dry as well for something just cooked on site. Oh how the mighty have fallen! Bertucci's in Hingham has gone down hill BIG time! Bertucci's was the chain that was better than a chain for along time. Great pizza, salads, entrees and sides but yesterday I had one of my worst dining experiences ever! We walked in and were surprised to see a normally busy restaurant barely full. We ordered a side of meatballs as an appetizer and they were awful. Looked like Alpo! The chicken piccata was overly salty. We also ordered the salmon with spinach and roasted potatoes and the fish was dry the spinach had way too much garlic and the potatoes were like rubber. Servers were clearly in view smelling a container of milk or something similar and had a larger Tupperware that a female server was trying to spoon into her coworkers mouths. This was a sad excuse for lunch. We ordered a large margarita with garlic cloves and prosciutto. There were almost no toppings on the pizza, they had no draft beer and limited cans and bottles. My husband (for this third choice) was told they had Sam hazy in a can which ended up being Sierra Nevada IPA then got huffy when it was declined. We ended up having to share a water because she never brought a second one. The only reason we didn't walk out was that we had a hungry toddler with us. First of all, the meal came with bread, so yum and great that they do that but the amount of oil they gave us was no bueno. We entered Hingham bertucci's about 2-ish. We stood at the front door for about four-five minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We had two adults two kids, they only gave us ONE kids menu and crayons which everyone k owns caused a fight. They sat us with two place settings , and no extra place setting or plates for the kids. We actually had to take it off another table after the food came because the waitress was no where in sight when the food came out . My oldest daughter ordered pasta with her broccolli and chicken , which she never got. We ordered a small cheese pizza for my youngest and asked for an extra side of French fries for her which we got. I already had a sour feeling after not even being noticed by anyone while we were standing at the front door waiting to be seated. Then it took a bit for the waitress to even come over . The entire visit our waitress inly came by a total of three times four if you count taking our check. This was my absolute first time visiting bertuccis and I'm sad to say my last. I may give it another shot with take out but not for a while- we couldn't even say my daughter didn't get her pasta with her meal because we never saw the waitress. Cheers to you, Chef Mike for a really hot dinner last night at Bertucci's! Everybody knows Chef Mike. He sits squarely in your kitchen and when you need a quick snack you open his mouth and press three and presto! You're taquitos are finished in a jiffy. Chef Mike plays a prominent role here too. He might honestly be overworked in my opinion. I don't mean to be a sputnik, but really people? Burrata pizza? We're flying too close to the sun here. I mean really flying off the wall. Piping hot rigatoni served with meatballs that have probably been in the freezer since the Cambrian Explosion. Good thing Whole Foods is on standby. It's until 3pm. 2 Topping Personal Pizza plus a Salad for Cheaper than lunch at Panera or maybe even McDonald's at this point!! We thought we'd split a pizza until we saw this great Lunch Deal. The Salad is pretty big for a side (I had Caesar ) and The personal pizza is large enough that I bring home 2 pieces minimum. You know, I actually went to the original Bertucci's in Davis Square in Somerville and loved it. The pizza was great, the indoor bocce court was fun and you could go next door to Steve's for ice cream after. Well, then Bertucci's became a chain and the woes that befall all chains (think Filene's Basement, TGIF which used to be a fun adult place, etc). Our pizza was a joke. We ordered a large margherita and half of it had absolutely no cheese on it at all. The tomato sauce was way too thick and the crust was hard and dry. At least our waiter was nice and brought a free Diet Coke refill (one for two people which seemed a bit odd) but the place seemed sad and has obviously seen better days. Sad to write this review. I've loved Bertucci's since I was a kid. Loved and still do love there bread but that's just about all the good I can say. The service is very slow. The last time I was here I was served raw chicken! I forgot to take a picture, but it was raw. (It was chicken parm btw). It's a shame what's happened to Bertucci's. I've been a fan for a long time but seeing locations close left and right is a red flag. The food is good to great, but it's being mismanaged out of existence, I think. Stopped in for lunch today, and ordered one of the lunch specials. I think my waitress was new, so I offer a little grace for her mistakes, but come on, management, support your staff, give them training in how to serve. She came by 3 times to confirm my order, I had to ask for butter once the rolls came, my drink took forever. The food was good, but then the bill came and I was charged for 2 drinks, I had to point it out and wait for it to get corrected. Small things, yes, but I have experienced this at other locations. Bertuccis is a classic. It was redressing too have a good sized lunch meal for under $20. The rolls were nice and hot, the soup was hot and came quickly, the meal was hot, fresh, presented well and also timely. I was in there a little before noon so the staff took a bit to get to me in the bar however like most places I am sure they are still short staffed so I was patient. Visited this location after my partner saw the highway sign on our way home. He remembered it from his childhood as a very nice casual dinner location. So I agreed. However this was not the case. Our server did not introduce herself, asked us what we wanted before we even got to look at the menu. The food was undercooked. Both the garlic knots and our pizza were very undercooked and bland. The waitress spent our entire meal stacking dirty dishes on the table behind us and I spent my entire time watching the pile grow larger. It completely put me off from wanting to eat. Our server also did not ask about allergies and I ended up with a minor allergic reaction. I do not recommend stopping at this location. read more

We sat for a bit before the waitress came over to take our drink order then disappeared for quite some time. drinks came and again she disappeared only to be seen watching the cooks in the kitchen. We placed our order and close to 30 minutes later the food came and it was warm not hot probably from sitting on counter. She says oh I forgot your soup. Told her to cancel it as it was an appetizer. Had to ask for silverware and napkins. Saw a man from another table who with his party was seated before we arrived. He was up front pretty upset with the cooks and servers as their food had not come. I can only hope that this was the waitress first day as she had no clue. If it was I blame management for leaving her by herself. A drink was served with a chip in the glass. When told she just looked at it and pushed it to the side. Had to ask her for another drink. Following a recent less-than-stellar curbside experience and request yet unanswered outreach to corporate (bad form HQ), we've had two positive experiences and noted a remarkable uptick in how The Tucc handles curbside. Including, but not limited to: canned juices for kids meals (no spillage!), rolls included in every order, and a new focus on accuracy. The Dough Club sends out $15 off coupons all the time, which brings over priced pasta down to something reasonable for a family of four. Appreciate their evolution in servicing those still doing the takeout thing, which is us for the foreseeable future. read more

Don't order from this Bertucci's location through a delivery service! Consistently when we have ordered, our delivery driver has had to wait for over 30 minutes since the restaurant staff didn't put the order in. And it's 100% not the delivery service - it's always Bertucci's lack of attention/attentiveness. Additionally, quality is spotty at this location. Sometimes your food is undercooked, sometimes overcooked, rarely satisfactory. Upper management should take note of this location - something's awry because the attention is not on food or service! read more

First place we ate after arriving in MA for the first time. Amanda was an EXCELLENT server and the wings were really good, crispy and juicy with the lemon and rosemary seasoning. The complimentary bread and oil for dipping won a place in our hearts. They really hooked us up when they saw we made a mistake with our pizza order and made sure we left with a positive experience.
