I went in about two weeks ago for my first tat! I don't remember the guys name who did my tat but he messed it up! He said it was because I moved my foot and I did move it very lightly. Then he went over it and it didn't look professional. I was almost in tears. I couldn't believe something I waited so long to get was not even done well. I got a date in Roman numerals and I wouldn't say it was horrible but it didn't look like a professional did it. Olivia which is who did my best friends tat who was getting a matching of mine looked at it and said she didn't want me walking out unhappy with my first tat so she redid it for me. She did my friends tat perfect and fast. She ended up doing mine and I was very happy with how it looked! It did suck that we went in for matching tats and mine was a lot thicker since it had to be gone over again. My friends date was thin and mine was thick but we didn't let it ruin the meaning. The price was $100 each for the small date on our feet and from what I've heard that was pretty pricey for how small it was! We didn't know though because it was both of our first times. It was kind of shocking they wouldn't give me any type of discount after the guy messed up on my tat after finding out those prices are high but oh well. Anyways it's been a couple of weeks and the tat looks a lot different. It looks like it will have to be redone for sure. Never going back there again. I think Olivia who fixed my tattoo probably does good work but still I can't risk it and ever go back there again. Wish I chose another place for sure but oh well you live and you learn. read more

We was the first time at Bespoke, we was on vacation and wanted to have a tattoo. Lee was oure Artist he done his work really good we are more than surprised in a positive way. My husband has a skorpion in 3 d optic it looks like it is walking on his bicep, the skorpion looks naturally. I have a single rose with two rings it is really feminin and i love it. Worked with Lee on some abstract framework for a sleeve. He was incredibly professional, and certainly made me feel welcome. I had a design coming in, and he helped me refine it for a solid hour. By the time we were done, the improvement in the design was major. When it came down to actually doing the work he was incredibly focused. The design was simple, but he still put in a level of effort you'd expect for the most complex designs. Unless I move, I think I will be going only to these guys for future work. Knew the owner of the shop for years, his name is Lee Maxwell an is a super cool guy, his prices are legit and fare. Anyways yesterday I had to fix a tattoo I got before an Lee had his new apprentice who came to find out was my friend and didn't know he was working there lol. Anyways Chris is his name , I trust Lee and his word that if he had to fix it after he would, anyways Chris did a super good job on the outline, took him awhile cuz he didn't wanna mess it up, it was around 3 an I had to leave an be out the door at 4:30 to drive to Kahuku. Chris is new and is still apprenticing so he's still a little slower then the rest of the guys, Anyways another tattoo artist there named John who is very talented an was watching over Chris making sure Chris was doing things right and he was ended up having to take over to get me out of there before 4:30pm Chris did an amazing job doing the lining over my tattoo that had to be fixed! Anyways John jammed out the whole black an shading in 30 mins an I was out the door at 4:20, it came out super good compared to before an I appreciate the guys there and Good laughs yesterday an good times, just a lot of pain when John was jamming an not taking no longer then 2 sec breaks! These folks are out-by God-standing!! Wife and I were in Honolulu for an anniversary trip, decided to get tattoos. Wife looked up tat places and found 2 with 5 stars. Bespoke and Pacific Soul. We were in the parking lot of a store and saw PS, or, more appropriately P.O.S. we went in to talk to the guy who seemed annoyed we interuppted his day, even though we were standing outside the door when he opened up. We showed him our self drawn designs which he immediately began to advise us on how they were no good and too detailed, etc.. Basically, "I do my style, not yours". Sorry, i'm not local, which seems to be all he was interested in, or his "USO" gang members (tat patterns and wall art evidenced this). Took our patterns an left. Went to Bespoke, Olivia (Oli)greeted us politely and asked what we were looking for, showed her our patterns and without hesitating, said "no problem" we went to lunch gave her some time to get them resized and drawn out. When we got back, Oli took the time to review all options and we jumped right in, she did beautiful work, took us as walk ins on a Saturday evening and knocked them both out at a damn cheap rate. We were treated like old friends, Oli's friend, sweet young lady whose name I am ashamed to say escapes me was so helpful and so sweet, even sat with my wife when her session started to wear on her. In a nut shell, the other artist and his client even joined in the conversation and the whole experience was stunning. Highly recommend BESPOKE; Oli and friend on the weekend in particular. So I came here not to get a tattoo but I came along with my friend. There are 2 Artists who work here. They seem pretty cool and great Tattooists from looking at their work and stuff. The shop is pretty small. They have a nice leather couch right in front of the rooms and right when you enter and it almost seems like a living room. Right when you step into the door through the entrance, they have like a mini library of books about tattoos and stuff. I spent most of the day looking at them and almost read all of the books on the library while waiting for my friend to get her tattoo completed. It took several hours but her tattoo came out spectacular. The shop is pretty easy to find and right along Keeaumoku right around where all of the beauty shops and restuarants are located directly right across from where Walmart/Sam's Club is located. I had an overall pleasant experience, with Jawn as my tattoo artist. Got my first ever tattoo here a couple of weeks ago. While it was a small one to my side rib area and took less than 5 minutes to get done, Jawn used the prep time to make sure it was exactly to my liking. He was very friendly and talked me through the whole procedure. One thing I didn't know beforehand was that it is cash only here. My best friend (who came with me for support) and I walked to the nearby atm, but it wasn't working at the time, so we walked down to Walgreens to get enough cash back for my tattoo. The Walgreens has a maximum cash back amount of $20, so I ended up getting 4 bottles of water, a pack of Icebreakers mints and a pack of gum (all separate transactions), in order to get enough cash back. After I returned, Jawn showed me his stencils and after a few attempts, we got the placement just the way I wanted. He made me feel very comfortable, as I was getting the tattoo done. I didn't feel nervous at all, and the pain was not as bad as I had anticipated. He sent me home with a sheet of instructions and added verbal instructions of his own. It definitely felt itchy like I had a bad sun burn for several days after, just like Jawn had said it would. I continued to lather it with lotion several times a day, and now two weeks later, it's pretty much healed and looking great. Thanks Jawn for an awesome first tattoo experience :) read more

I have been hesitantly looking for tattoo places based on the images and reviews for years. Everywhere has scared me away, apart from Bespoke. I was sold. I brought in a card with handwriting on it and a stamp of a paw print. My artist scanned them in and replicated both so perfectly for me. I'm very impressed with the shop as a whole as well. You don't just see tattoos everywhere, the workers there really are artists. It's hanging all over and it's gorgeous. It highlights their skills so much, and gave me even more faith in my tattoo artist. I have my first and second tattoo now, and I couldn't be happier with them. Jawn was excellent. Olivia was great. She really made sure to capture what i was looking for in my tattoo. I actually had a rough start on my tattoo meaning i was feeling a little woozy , not cause of tattoo but because my dumb butt did not have really anything to eat prior to tattoo . Olivia was super chill and made sure i felt great as i laid down she brought me water and gummy bears which she totally didn't have to but she did cause she that awesome. She did this to raise my blood sugar .super cool after checking that i felt better with food in my stomach she went back to her work and work her magic. I choose Olivia because of her water color skills and to be honest i have gotten other tattoos in past but she was how do i saw gentle actually , i got the tattoo on my spine and foot and to be honest she was great . I am new to tattoo's. My family and wife all have them but I have always had commitment issues so I couldn't ever pull the trigger. Recently I hit my "I have wanted this for four years" mark and decided to finally get the tattoo's I have wanted. Karly is the one who did both of them, one on my left arm and one on my left hand. They are both still healing but look absolutely stunning! I have been stopped in public numerous times by random people asking where I got them done, I refer them to Bespoke. It is extremely comfortable in the shop, there is no pressure to buy something you don't want or feel like your an outsider, and all the employees seem very close to one another, it made me feel calm and comfortable. I brought the design I wanted and Karly added her input about how the colors would look and what I should and probably shouldn't do, we took a design from the internet that someone else already had and made it a piece that is completely my own. I couldn't be happier and plan on coming back every time I want to add to mine, get a new tat or just want to freshen it up. I would refer Karly to anyone who asks, she truly is amazing. read more
