I thank Shawna for her expertise and diligence to her craft for that. I met Shawna when she was at Salon Lofts in German Village and love her new location. 2016-present Annie Brown hair stylist and colorist. She has been helping me on my journey from greying dark brown hair to a lighter blonde. She cuts my hair as well and has recently encouraged me to embrace my curls! I love the highlights and color with the curls. Annie goes the extra mile and sincerely wants the best for all her clients. 2018-present Self Beauty is located in Bespoke and their focus is on helping me age with grace. Dr. Emily Seng has helped me get on a regular facial regiment, encouraged me to try the Forever Young Broad band light therapy (which I love) and a little bit of botox on occasion. Went in for subtle babylights on virgin ash brown hair, and left with chunky bright orange highlights and a charge of $360... Stylist told me, it looked, "pretty," when I expressed concern and wouldn't squeeze me in for a fix until the following week. Had to make 3 follow up appointments with a different salon to try rectify the situation. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

She is super thorough with her consultation and asks a lot of detailed questions about your hair, how you like to style it, how much time you want to spend on styling it, upkeep, etc. just to make sure that you're getting the right service and cut. Also, she is SO knowledgeable about the science behind your hair - and will explain to you the cause of any issues you're having and how to handle them. Not to mention she is super talented - my hair always looks super natural and I am able to go 10-12 weeks between appointments because it grows out so naturally. She's the best! read more

I am so beyond upset that I have to post this but the salon I went to doesn't have any place to write a bad review they don't allow it on there google ad page. I went in for a regular touch up and highlights I agreed with my stylist @anniebrown @besbokesalonstudio that I would go a darker blonde to preserve the health of my hair. If you look at the photo of after you can see I'm no where near the blonde spectrum. When I saw my hair I immediately complained but she and I didn't have time to fix it. When I asked her what she could do to rectify the situation she offered me to come in on a Saturday knowing I'm a sabbath observer (rare for columbusto fix my hair in between appointments. I mean where is the professionalism. I'm beyond disappointed and will never have my hair done here again. got a lash lift and you can't even tell a difference. it took about 20 min and they charge 70 for something that doesn't work
