Excellent company. Our oven stopped working this afternoon as my wife was about to pop in some homemade bread. I did the whole YELP thing and Denis responded quickly and consistently. He was able to help us out immediately (on a Friday afternoon!). Alex showed up soon after 4 and was done before 5. Oven works and my wife is baking the bread she wanted to bake at 2pm. Tech arrived on time and Diagnosed problem as worn belt which he replaced. Initial short test run was fine and time will tell. Would have given 5 stars but $240 is excessive especially since owner had specifically quoted that price for a motor replacement as I believed that was the issue. I had communicated all relevant details as I was comparison shopping. Owner was very responsive and answered all my questions including warranty info . I picked them based on price recognizing it seemed low but neglected to ask questions on price if it was only belt replacement. They charged me $90 for a $20 belt and labor cost is debatable but it was just under 2 hours. My advice would be to definitely consider using them but just be clear on best and worst case scenarios when getting price estimates. Unless I have no clue of the issue, I never go for the diagnostic fee approach. read more

Noticed my LG refrigerator wasn't acting right and then BAM! Stopped all together and wouldn't cool or freeze food. Looked around for a reputable repair service and saw that Truecare Appliance Solutions had a five star rating. Sent a quick message with what was going on with my fridge and the owner, Denis was very quick to respond and set up a time to come check it out. Upon his arrival he was quick to diagnose the problem as a condensor/compressor issue. He set up a follow-up appointment and arrived as soon as he had the replacement parts. When he arrived back, he wasted no time getting to work to fix our refrigerator. He was very meticulous about his work and was a true professional. He was very communicative throughout thr whole process and once he was finished he asked that I please text him with an update within 12 hours after the repair to ensure the issue was fixed. After he was finished, I waited the 12 hours and unfortunately the fridge was still not cooling or freezing. I messaged Denis and let him know and again he was very quick to set up a time soon after contacting him to come and see what was wrong. Turned out it was just a faulty part which he had already planned ahead for and replaced it. Again he put in a lot of hard work and did a professional job. After he was finished he again asked that I please message him to let him know if the fridge was working. Low and behold the fridge was fixed!!! Cold food and drinks and making ice once again. I needed my microwave repaired due to sparks every time I placed food to warm. Very similar to the reaction you'd get from warming up something with foil. I did my research and watched repair videos and found out it was the micro wave oven wave guide cover. I found the sheet which could repair up to 8 microwave for $5. I didn't want to take a gamble and repair incorrectly because my microwave is a range attached to my oven. I messaged and the service call alone would be $60 but same day. When he got here the repair took 20 minutes tops and cost $165. Not a deal for sure will repair myself from now on. Id give 4 stars because the price was insane not a value at all. Fridge was running high temp. I got a quick response to come out. Tech came out and diagnosed a failed thermostat and fan. Said he could order parts and be back in a week. $300. After repairs were made, the issue continued. Tech came back out, explained to my wife that a "piece had broken off the fan, and needed to be glued back on." A week later the loud rattling and high temp alarm came back. I hired another company, who diagnosed quickly a water leak in the freezer and fixed the actual problem. I never received an invoice from the tech after coming out twice. Not a bad experience, but I had better success elsewhere. read more

I noticed that my refridgator was not cooling correctly, since the holiday weekend was approaching I have Puls as a extended warranty service however due to the holiday ( the 4th) there were now technicians avaible until a few days after the holiday. I visted Thumbtack and Denis' company Truecare was one of the first to show as recommended. I contacted Denis and he came right out, found the issue along with another issue that the Puls technician missed. I called Trucare because my by side freezer developed excessive amount of frost, The next steps were almost comical. Michael come on a timely mannor. He said the seal around the freezer door had a leak and asked me if I had a hairdryer which I did but attached to a wall.. After talking to someone in Russian he left and came back several hours later with a box that I assumed was a new door seal, it wasnt, it was a hair dryer. Defrosting the existing seal with the hair dryer he charged me $199 and left Two hours later the frost was back. I called and he returned the next day and said it was air leak is in he flap to the ice maker. After multiple conversations in Russian I told him that I dont believe its the ice flap and it was clear to me that he had no idea of refrigeration He gave me back my uncashed $199 check and left.
