Beware of this auto shop. Prince did not work with me. I have never been talked to or treated like this before. After further research, I went to a more expensive/reputable facility in town and found out he over charged me for a part and "job" he supposedly completed by over $300. He treated me poorly and raised his voice at me. Lesson learned, I will go to a more reputable facility in the future. read more

I went to this shop today based on the reviews here and am so glad that I did! My car initially needed an oil change and smog check, which I was able to have done in under an hour with no appointment. Then my car needed new brakes in the front, which I was also able to get done right away. The owner was very kind, honest and did very good work. I'm very grateful to have found this new auto shop. My car broke down on the 101 in Morgan Hill, and the guy who towed my car recommended this repair shop. I wasn't sure what to do, since I've had really bad experiences with bad repair shops. The towing guy seemed to be knowledgable. He said that the new owner had worked for other shops and had opened his business recently, and he had done smog work on his car. When I arrived, I was told by the owner that it would take a few days and $100. to see what was wrong with it, but that would be applied to repairs. I told him that it sounded like the motor was trying to get gas and it was acting like it was clogged. then it just stopped running on the highway. It took a little while for my ride to show up. While I waited he spent his time walking around his shop holding and petting a kitten. I found this odd for a new owner who is supposedly trying to build a business. He only had one car in one of the 2 bays sitting there with the hood up. Instead of petting a kitten, he could have at least looked under the hood of my car. I was already starting to wonder if I had brought it to the wrong place. I went by the next day to check one my car. It was still sitting where it was towed and it didn't look like it had been moved, or even looked at. He said the motor was no good and wasn't getting any pressure. When I tried to question him he just kept talking at me, instead of carrying on a conversation. When I suggested maybe the fuel line was stopped up, he just kept rambling on. I said to hime, the town guy thought that it might be the fuel filter, since it was choking out. He started comparing himself to a doctor with regards to the town guy not knowing anything. I just got discussed with him at that time and just wanted to leave. At least, he waived the $100. I had my car towed home, and a few days later, I had some one come over and look at it. He took the cover off the timing belt and it was obvious the belt had broken. IT WAS ALSO OBVIOUS THAT PRINZE FROM BEST AUTO CARE HADN'T EVEN CHECKED THE TIMING BELT. OTHERWISE, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SAY IT'S THE TIMING BELT INSTEAD OF RAMBLING ABOUT BEING A DOCTOR OF CARS. Stay away from here. The guy is a jerk, and too lazy to look under the hood. read more

The alternator in my car has been screaming murder on and off for a while. I got quotes from 350 to close to 600. And that is just too rich for me so I have been putting it off. Yesterday my alternator went nuts screaming, I knew I need to fix it ASAP. Just the stroke of luck, I got the owner of this shop quoting me a great price. And he got time to fix it for me in the morning. I took my car in around 10:00am and get out in about an hour later. That is much, much better than 1/2 day quote I got from other stores. Well, I am one big happy customer to say the least. I am so happy that I am considering having them changing my oil from now on. I will definitely go back if I have any other car problem. I hope my search for a trustworthy and reasonable pricing mechanics is over. P.S. One good thing I noticed is that the mechanics checked and confirmed the cause was the alternator before he worked on it. I hate to pay and fix something that is not source of my problem. All I can say is that the gentleman Prince is truly a man of character when it comes to ethical business practices. I do not know what happened with the gentleman who reported one star, that was his experience, but that has not been mine nor the many others that are here. I brought my car in and he did not charge me to even look at it or assess it which for many mechanic shops they will do. And then he told me, my options and went with the lowest intrusive approach (if I can say that), just to make sure that we were handling one thing at a time financially minded. read more

NO PAPER WORK, No warranty!!! This is what the owner of this repair shop told me (PRINZE PHAN) Lies! This guy is very rude and difficult to deal with! This place does not stand behind their service. The warranty does not cover the damage that they do to your car when they work on it. Steer clear! Do NOT let them touch your car. They will screw it up, break it, and then deny your warranty claim because you have no paper work. Liars and Crooks! I flew into SFO and rented a car. When approaching Morgan Hill, I found out I had a tire going flat due to a screw in the tire. It was around 7PM and tried 3 different shops but everyone was closed or the mechanic had gone home. Another gas station gave me Prinze Phan's card, the owner of Best Auto Care. I got ahold of him and he said to come in first thing in the AM and he would get me fixed up. I told him I needed to get to Fresno that night for a morning meeting. I think he was eating dinner but he said he would meet me at his shop. Prinze had my tire fixed in 5 minutes and he wouldn't take any money from me....seriously. I will never forget the good deed. Came here for the first time to get a punctured tire repaired. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Best Auto Care owner named Prinze. He is very knowledgeable, energetic, helpful, humble, and friendly. He took a look at my punctured tire and fixed it in less than 5-10 minutes.
