There was no yelp for Middleton best bagel but here it comes. First off i hate giving bad reviews. Im all for supporting local especially when the food is fresh and good. However, what soured my experience was the staff extremely rude and need have a different attitude when dealing with the public especially in the food industry. I was hankering an egg bagel and decided to get my friend and myself Breakfast sandwiches on the way to the airport. I walked in and stood in front of the sign where it said to order. The girl behind the counter didn't acknowledge or greet me at all. Kept her eyes down and the girl working next to her dod about the same. I stood there a good three minutes before the cashier made eye contact and said good morning. I started to tell her my order because i thought thats why she greeted me. Wrong! The first girl that completely ignored me now chastised me for giving the cashier my order she'd take it in a minute. I was taken aback because maybe id she could have at least told me she'd be with me in a minute. I was in no hurry and i wasn't showing impatience in any way. But the girl taking my order seemed annoyed r te hat i wanted more than one thing and had a tone when she asked anything else? Quite frankly it will be the last time i come to this bagel place ill get it at market basket without the attitude thanks or go to bagel world they at least greet you and appreciate your business read more

Most delicious bagels and cream cheese! I can't decide which is my favorite. The Jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese or the egg bagel olive and pimento cream cheese or the wild berry bagel with strawberry cream cheese. read more

Disappointing customer service, mediocre coffee. Honestly- an instant iced Nescafé at home is a "10" over this... The drive thru service got the order wrong and partially fixed it before rudely ushering us away. We used to come here all the time but it isn't the same place anymore. Actually the BEST bagels. I live in Boston and still think these are better than anything I have had there. The inside is nice and chewy and the outside is perfectly crisped. The staff are friendly and you can tell it's a family owned business. Best bagels in the area for sure! read more

Best Bagel is a perfect name for their supremely delicious bagels. Every flavor is cooked to perfection with a firm crust and chewy inside. Their veggie cream cheese is homemade and delicious. Definitely go early because the selection empties early. read more

If the bagel wasn't so delicious, I would've given a terrible review for the service. Various people saw me and continued to either chat amongst themselves or carry on what they were doing without even a hello or anything. They were speaking Brazilian Portuguese, which I understand, so joke's on them. Professionalism goes a long way, guys! read more

This is for the Seabrook location. Inside staff took my order for 1/2 dozen bagels with a container of cream cheese and a coffee. Before completing my order, staff took a phone call order that lasted for over 10 minutes. When he completed the phone order, he gave me the bagels without the cream cheese. I had to remind him about the topping. I also had to request a sales slip. In the meantime, the coffee got cold and there were a number of customers waiting behind me. Worst service ever. read more

The bagels and cream cheese selection are great! They merit four stars. However, we've ordered pickup twice and both times the order was incomplete. First time, we paid to have the bagels sliced and they were not sliced. Today, I ordered a bagel with lox on a toasted bagel. It was not toasted. To me, it's uncooked if it's not toasted, like a tortilla. In summary, the food is good but the preparers need to pay more attention to detail. Poor me, I know. I stopped here again yesterday and got a Turkey Club via the drive thru. What I recieved was a FANTASTIC bagel sandwich. Wonderful flavor and chew to the bagel. It rivals any deli in NY...simply wonderful. I asked for no lettuce and add cukes. I happily saw all the veg were cut freshly to order and very good quality. The turkey was real turkey and very good. The bacon was excellent quality and flavor. IMO this place is much better than Pan.era for authentic bagels. A much healthier choice than a quick stop elsewhere and a great value. That sandwich weighed half a pound LOL (thank you for cutting it in half for me). This is my go-to stop for picnic sammy or on the way to work on days I dont whip up something at home. I've been coming to Best bagels since the only location was in Georgetown. The service at the Seabrook location is absolutely terrible. After going there several times in the past few months, the order is wrong every time, the people working there don't even know the menu and ordering anything more than a bagel with cream cheese has been a disaster. Seabrook NH - Best Bagel-These are the best bagels we have ever had! Huge , crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The everything actually has pretzel salt on it like they used to. The store is clean and bright and the people who work there are very friendly and helpful! The smell of these bagels in the car will drive you crazy on the way home!There is another one in Georgetown and they are opening another store in Middleton. We actually went to the drive-thru here and it was fast and friendly, not a long wait at all. The board with the selections is great - very detailed. We ended up getting a salmon bagel sandwich which was huge. Maybe a bit too huge as it was hard to handle. Lovely salmon and great toppings like capers on a wild berry bagel. We also got an egg and cheese with cream cheese on a spinach veggie bagel. Great flavor in the bagel and the egg was nicely done. Finally, we ordered a Hawaiian chocolate iced coffee. It was okay but made with syrup and not a brew. They had several flavors so I'll try another on the next visit. The service was great too - very friendly. Just okay. The place is clean and staff is friendly. Bagels are good but the bacon, egg, and cheese is microwaved. The cheese is not good quality but it's not an expensive breakfast. There is not much space for parking but they do have a drive thru. I miss Breuggar's bagels in andover. :o( read more

This is an offshoot of Bagel World in Salem, MA and I think a couple of other locations. Their bagles are pretty good, and they have all the spreads and toppings you could ever want. The problem with this location is the lackluster customer service. In three trips to the drive through, they have gotten my very simple order wrong two times. Now I go inside and watch them make it to get it right. If this place were anywhere else, with any kind of competition, they would get one or two stars. read more

When they first opened they would put a good portion of whatever spread you requested. The next 3 times I went back the spread portion kept getting smaller and smaller. Bagels are good but spread is way too expensive for what you get. Thought I had made a change but I'll probably go back to Abraham's where they are always consistent. JP read more

They got two of the three orders wrong. Then charged us an extra $3.22 for the butter and cream cheese we had asked to be on the order in the first place. They just didn't Listen to a thing we said. We can't say enough about how good these bagels are. I'm from Long Island, NY, and I have never found any bagels here that come close to the ones I find in NY until now. And they have Salted bagels, my favorite! Best Bagel is so good. We have tried many different varieties and all of them are excellent. They have the right combination of glossy and crunchy on the outside and dense and chewy on the inside. I hate those doughy and bready bagels that I almost always find in NH and in bagel chains or coffee joints that are so disappointing. There have been some places I've been to that have had good reviews or whose bagels look good, but when you bite into them, they're so disappointing. Not here! These people have figured out how to do it correctly. We will return as often as we can, but I have a feeling we won't be able to get near this place once the summer season begins and it gets discovered by all of the visitors. Great bagels !!!! My standard for bagels is from the upper westside in NYC so my expectations are high. Best Bagel makes the mark.

Clean establishment, friendly staff, and good bagels. My only minor complaint is their coffee cups. The heat from the coffee warps the cup, especially the rim, so when you pick up the cup, the lid pops off, and hot coffee spills all over the place. I'm not sure if this has happened to any one else, but it's happened to me many times. read more

Great place to stop and grab coffee and fresh bagel on our way to the highway. Family run and staff always friendly and often throws in an extra bagel to try at no extra charge. The reason for the only 4 stars is because their sandwiches weren't great, but if you just want a bagel and cup of coffee then this is the place. Phenomenal bagel sandwiches, stuffed with toppings, made fresh. They close at 4 pm but I like to stop there and get one for dinner when I get out of work early enough. Their veggie cream cheese varieties are loaded with fresh vegetables. Knocks the socks off of big chain shops! read more
