When I called to follow up on 11/24, his voicemail said he receives texts at the number too, I texted and he quoted $195/hr. When I asked him about the disparity he said we could go with the lower rate. In our initial conversation I explained that we were supposed to close on our house December 18th and wanted to move December 19th. I did note that when buying a house there are many moving parts so there was some concern that we might not be able to close/move on time but told him that I'd let him know as soon as I knew for sure and he was fine with that. 12/12, one week before the move I text the owner telling him we're on track to close on time and that I want to confirm we're scheduled for the following Saturday 12/15 I text the owner again and leave a voicemail, no response 12/16 I text the owner and leave a voicemail, my wife also calls and texts, at noon I text that if I don't hear back by 1:00 I'll need to find another company I found another company, still haven't heard a word from him. It's entirely possible that we were on his calendar and he would've shown up on time Saturday and is just terrible with communication, but after going four days without any confirmation, I couldn't risk not having a mover show up. I truly hope everything is ok and that I'm not bashing a business that had a valid reason for ghosting me, but until I hear otherwise from the owner, I can only guess.

They were there at 10:45 am. They were professional and polite, and handled my items with care. I think anyone's biggest concern when moving is that their belongings will get damaged. The crew was a 3 man crew. They asked exactly where I wanted everything to go in my new place. They efficiently put it where I asked. They got the move done in less than two hours and they were on their way. I don't think I could have asked for a better moving experience. I don't plan on moving out of my new apartment anytime soon, but I would definitely recommend A&L movers to anyone who is looking to move. Their professionalism and politeness and willingness to provide great customer service is unprecedented.

They called me back immediately and had the clearest pricing plan of any company in the Buffalo area. The day of our move they were on time and kept me updated on their arrival. They individually covered everything dresser, table, and bookcase to protect them. At the end of the move there was not a single mark on my walls or on any of my personal items. I was reading someone's complaint/review online about another moving company and saw information about We Move 4U. I contacted We Move 4U and spoke with Peter, the owner and made an appointment for him to come over to do a walk through and give a quote. Peter showed up promptly for the appointment and followed up after as promised, with a quotation. He was friendly and professional in all our interactions. He was transparent with the price. There were no hidden costs and no additional costs. The rate was an hourly rate and my quote was based on the estimated total amount of time it was supposed to take, including travel time, for the move. They collected the payment in full after unloading all the items in my new place. There were different payment options available. They use enclosed trailers, not trucks, to do the moves and they used one trailer to move all my items (from a 3 bedroom house) in one trip. The items were packed carefully and in such a way that everything fitted neatly. I couldn't believe it. The crew (two guys each named Dave, and a younger guy) worked fast, carefully, and efficiently to load and unload my items. Thanks again Peter and crew.
