Got the double cheeseburger. Its not fancy with lettuce, tomatoes mayo and mustard but damn its a good burger. Wish the fries were a little crisper but it was busy when I came. I love the place, if you ever wanted that "backyard burger" type of taste this is the place to go! The fries are always crispy and I love a thicker cut fry personally but the staff has always been courteous and professional. I'm looking forward to trying their new breakfast menu! This would be a 5/5 rating but at one point when I ordered 4 burgers, one of the burgers was near tartar status and caused concern. However, since then our orders have always been cooked thoroughly to medium. Perhaps it was a different cook? Maybe it was a stressful day? I liked the name so came in to see if it was true, but after trying it I'm not so sure. I had a large order of fries, small drink, a regular burger, and a Swiss cheeseburger (total 17.24). A good value. The first thing I noticed was that my burgers were upside down! Who puts all the toppings underneath the patty? It's all going to the same place eventually, sure, but I prefer my bottom teeth get first dibs on the meat and toppings go to the "TOP". Ok let me start with the bacon burger. They don't have great options, no sharp cheddar and when I asked if I could put onion rings on my burger I was told no. I am in the food industry if a customer ask for add on you do it even if it cost me a little extra I don't mind. Nope had to order side of onion rings just to make my burger they way I want it. Now was the time to stick my culinary toe into the Monument Corridor and check it out. Best Burgers is no Five Guys Burgers and Fries in terms a shiny new chain that caters hip young hungry guys. Rather, it's a neighbourhood joynt that caters to the blue collar workers, families, couples, and older hungry guys like me. And with a lot less pretension and better value for the money. The burgers are charbroiled, tasty, big, and with all the fixings. The fries were also good and both well complimented the beer that I added at home. Milk shakes are also available. Our friend Valerie told us about this place a long time ago - it's literally a mile from our home, and she was shocked we'd never gone in. Last weekend I decided to change that! We had our bunny in the car, having just left from a vet appointment, but found shaded parking in the big lot in front of the place. Even though it was lunch time, I was surprised to see how busy they were. A couple people stood in line, and all but two tables were seated. We ordered at the counter. I had a veggie burger and husband had two corn dogs. Also each ordered a chocolate shake. They don't make their own veggie burger patties, but the one they served was really good! Lots of carrots and spinach - and very tasty! The bun it was served on was kind of big, and the shredded lettuce made a mess, but I ate almost the entire burger. Added jalapenos to it for $0.35 and spiced it up! Casey really enjoyed his crispy corndogs and had no trouble eating each of them. A solid burger and coke. Best Burger is very easy to miss even though it is right on Monument. Do forget to look for the strip mall on the northwest corner. Once you find Best burger you will not be disappointed you stopped by. Their honest burgers are a good reason to avoid the chain brands and opt for a real charbroiled hunk of goodness instead. My 1/3 pound bacon cheeseburger was cooked to perfection. Nice bun without being too large. The bacon was just right. The cheese was you standard good American cheese. The lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles were fresh and delicious. The steak fries were big and good but the burger completely overshadows the fries. In fact I would say you should leave the fries behind the counter unless you are hungry or there is another person to split with. My personal pet peeve are place with bad Coke mix. Best Burger has no worries here as their Coke was great tasting with just the right amount of fizz. A nice thing is refills are only a quarter. The rest of the establishment was clean and bright. Every day, I take the 14 Bus to-and-from work, and every day, I pass by a restaurant called Best Burger. In the past two months, I have seen various hole-in-the-wall shops that say things like "Voted Best Burger," so I was skeptical walking into this restaurant. However, "Best Burger" is indeed one of the Best Burgers that I have had. The food is fresh! As soon as we ordered, the chef placed the patty on the grill. My friend and I ordered their signature Best Burger, which contains a fresh beef patty, a few slices of pastrami, and your usually toppings (tomatoes, pickles, lettuces, etc.) When we got our food, we knew we would be stuffed. For $5.00 or so dollars, we were getting a great deal. The burger was huge and super tasty. The pastrami added a nice spice to the burger. We also ordered a large fries, and it was enough for the two of us. The fries are semi-wedged steak fries. I would not say that they are the best fries I have ever had, but they complimented the meal well. In terms of the restaurant itself, the place was clean and well organized. They now serve hot dogs, and they also have vegetarian options. As we were dining, there were tons of people coming in to pick up their to-go orders, so this place is definitely a hit with the locals! Best burger is the first place I ever ate, out of moving truck the day I moved from LA. The burgers and fries are awesome, they exceed the quality of the various fast food chains on this corner. I ate here frequently when I lived in concord. The pastrami burger with bacon is awesome. It's a relaxed dine- in experience and fast to-go. Finally tried "Best Burger" after passing by it for how many years. Yelp reviews sounded promising so we just had to try it. The restaurant smelled like rancid oil as we entered and my girls said it smelled like bad air. Got the best burger which was a hamburger with pastrami, the burger was cooked more than I liked it to. The bun was delicious and chewy. Chocolate milkshake was satisfying and the wedge potatoes were not bad. But, I think I'll just stick to my favorite burger joint, in and out. read more

Just ate dinner here and really wasn't impressed. Our large soda was 90% ice, so when I went to get our one free refill, I asked for it "without ice this time." The guy filled it up and gave it back with the ice. I explained that I didn't want ice, and he gave me a shocked look and got a spoon to try to fish it out. He then tried to give me back the half-empty cup. I asked if he could fill it with soda, and the older woman behind the counter glared at me and started talking to the guy in another language in an annoyed tone. She was clearly displeased and I was uncomfortable. The burgers weren't great. Both (a Best Burger and a Mushroom Swiss Burger) were supposed to have cheese but neither did, but I didn't want to say anything after the soda episode. Fantastic Burger joint, and many reasons for my review! 1st this place is clean clean clean, thats the thing i always notice, sitting waiting for my food, you can see the tile floors are clean under their grill. Their grill was super clean and so is their prep area. 2nd. Lot of locals in and out, in fact they remember many of there orders, most people always thank them when leaving and they always respond happily! 3rd they asked most people except for me but i don't really care how they want their burger cooked. They take extras care in assembling the burger and it has mega visual appeal! 4th the frys! The frys are Fantastic!!! And almost identical to hot dog palace, Which are my favorite in the area.
