I bought a truck but what I got was a great dealership. I took my truck in for it's first oil change and tire rotation, and I'm very particular. I asked them to use a torque wrench on the oil plug and not an impact wrench. Not only did they use the torque wrench I asked them to they showed me the specs it was tightened to!!! ( I got to watch them work on my truck.) Every question I've had, along the way, has been answered promptly. I would highly recommend this dealership for any purchase, maintenance, or repair.

Toyota Corp instructed me to contact dealership to arrange free check to determine if the settlement funds should be used to make a replacement of a frequently failing part. No one at Marion Toyota would speak with me about this, even when I showed them the official card from Toyota Corp. Extremely unhelpful. It was as if without payment already arranged for service, they didn't care to help me. Now I have trouble with the hybrid battery. I've called Marion Toyota to see what they can do for me. Of course, I'd pay out of pocket. Again, they just didn't care to help. Pretty much told me that unless the car breaks down on me, there's nothing they can do. And they're supposed to be the technical experts on these cars. I'd rather drive VERY far away to another Toyota dealership for help--even just advice about where else to go--than deal with Marion Toyota's aloof staff. Unless you've already showered them in bills, they can't be bothered with you. My two sons are about to leave for college and I want to buy them each a gently used Toyota OR a new but economical Toyota. Guess where our family WON'T be buying our sons' cars. If you can't be bothered with already established customers, don't expect them to bring you more business.

In addition they charged me $75 for their opinion why the ABS light was on,they did not scan the system, nor did they do any real trouble shooting, wheel sensor where not the cause for the light as they stated I later learned . They also said I needed brakes and rotors. Brakes and rotors are brand new. This place is not a real Mercedes dealer they use the GM shop next's store for their shop. I was told they would work with me on remitting the alignment issue and would call me Monday. Three weeks later no call. Now I have to seek repairs elsewhere it would be nice to have the money I waisted their.

To my knowledge, even the ones done in 2023 were posted during the transition period from the old owner to the current owner. The new owner's name is Nick. He is also the head mechanic. He and his staff are excellent: personable, attentive, and knowledgeable! Their prices are affordable, and their work is superb! Nick is able to explain his work with great specificity. We went to Rodgers for the first time for an AC replacement in 2023 after moving to the area and have been back for routine maintenance, such as oil changes. Of particular note, something BAD happened under the hood of our old Tiguan. We first brought it to the Volkswagen dealership. Conclusion, it had blown a cylinder. Repairs, replacement of the engine, were cost prohibitive. We brought it to Nick for a second opinion. At that time, honestly, it had been quite awhile since we used his services (as we also use the dealerships for some things). He confirmed their findings in about 30 minutes. We then went to pay him, and he would not hear of it despite our insisting to pay him something. He actually said that he did not want to add insult to injury and that he strives to run his business and treat his customers in an - and I quote - "ethical" way. Unbelievable, right, especially given the reputation mechanics historically have? He is a good man. During the extended transition period of the business from the old owner to Nick, they "evidently", thoroughly cleaned the office and though it was the old look, it was charming, comfortable, and odorless. Since then, that is, since the full transfer of the business over to Nick, they have totally remodeled the office - it is now a bit like a waiting room at a dealership - and improved and expanded the property (razed that old vine-covered house) and modernized the garages. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND, at least, this version of Rodgers Automotive and its current ownership! (All that said, I know it is after the fact and does not really much matter in the relative spectrum of things, but I feel compelled to defend Nick's predecessor, whom I never met, on one point, at least. After all, it was still technically that guy's business that I first visited, and I found the office with all the old model and diecast toy cars and photos and signage from down through the years,... nay,... decades to be very quaint and not at all dirty and smelly (maybe a little dusty). When one states that "The price was fine and the work was as well," but gives the business a one-star rating, as one reviewer did here, that is a bit absurd. The auto shop passed on the far-and-away most important two necessary factors. All the rest is peripheral. But, I digress.)

After dickering for a short time, and him making a couple trips to his manager to discuss my offers, we reached a deal that I believe suited both parties. Then I met with Jon, the finance guy. He quickly found me the best available finance rate, beating my own bank. Even though there's tons of documents to be signed, Jon moved quickly through them, taking enough time to make sure I knew what a was signing. Turns out my front tires were bald (and they were bald), rather than trying to sell me four new tires, repair guy said he could patch my leaky back tire and put the ordered tires upfront! very thankful and blessed for an honest tire shop!!
