BY FAR the worst delivery service I've ever felt with!! They would not bring my refrigerator in ( that I've been waiting a week for) due to there being snow on ground! Steps were clear. I asked then to wait till I got someone on the phone and they said ok but the second they got in their truck they drove off. I'm furious, I at least would have asked them to leave it in my garage and I could have had someone come help me but they ignored me and just drove off!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've shop here very frequently and haven't had a bad experience yet. As I walk around the store and looking at things I know my wife won't let me get (primarily TVs), I'm approached by polite staff members asking if I had any questions or if I required assistance. Recently I was up for my upgrade for my phone and decided to get the iPhone X. I preordered the iPhone X online and picked it up at the store on release day. It was such a quick and painless process. Granted I set up the phone myself because I prefer to do it myself. I literally walked in the store, showed them the email receipt, got the phone and walked out. The whole process took about 5 minutes. The only thing I would say that is a con is their customer support over the phone. I've only used it once and may have just been this one day, but I was on hold waiting for someone to answer for about 10 minutes. Other than that, in store service is great. read more

I had a good experience at the store, but The guys that delivered and installed it I don't think knew what they were doing cause they left the washer hanging off the edge of the platform and left. I've shopped Best Buy for TV's for the last 20 years. I purchased a $1499 LG UHDTV last May with the Geek Squad protection plan. Last week, the TV picture developed several vertical and horizontal lines. I called Geek Squad who turned me over to LG as the set was still under warranty. They ordered a replacement part and dispatched a technician to install. LG ordered the WRONG part! The tech THEN decided to turn the set on and suddenly determined the issue was "impact damage" and would not be covered. There was NO IMPACT of any kind. I went back to Best Buy's Geed Squad and they basically told me i was out of luck and there was no way to change this determination. I will now be throwing out my $1499 TV and NEVER shopping Best Buy again. They have lost me as a customer forever. read more

This review is not just for the Avon store but Best Buy as a whole... Ordered a washer and dryer, took them over a week to process the sale, schedule for delivery, and deliver the units. However, on the day they were to be delivered, they weren't delivered. The team delivering them told different people that they couldn't find the house, also had called me twice and left a message and then stopped at the house and I wasn't there and another excuse I can't remember right now. When calling them to reschedule I was given the run-around and then told it would be another 8 days before they could deliver again. These guys suck! And what is with the Eastern European "support" team who answers the phones? Sounds like they are all Russian or Romanian. read more

In store pickup is 10 times slower than just going into the store and buying normally. Nobody is at the pickup stand. I was noticed multiple times and nobody helped for quite some time. Once I finally was helped, my ID and credit card had to be verified. Then someone had to go into the back of the store to find my item which also took forever. Finally when the guy came with my item he had to scan it all into the computer and asked for my ID again. I was left concluding that there is no advantage store pickup. What a waste. I was in there 20 waiting for my item. If I just found the item myself and checked out, I would have been in and out of there in 2 minutes - no ID required. read more

I parked in the "Pick Up" spots, went inside (which I have to give credit, it's impressively "Covid-19 Safe") & was directed to the pick up window, gave them my information & went to get my car. As I was pulling up I saw the kid at the Pick Up Window chasing down a Jeep Cherokee, carrying my printer. As the Jeep pulled away, I pulled up in my car. To wrap this up quickly: the printer was too big for my car. He tried the trunk, the back seat and then the front seat, where it fit - if you didn't shut the door. I knew that they were closing in 10 minutes so I ran into the store & looked around for the kid so that I could arrange for home delivery but he was nowhere to be seen. Now I was angry & it's probably the adrenaline that made it possible for me to tote it home. It blocked my passenger side mirror and because it sat like a cube on one of it's corners & I had to hold it up with my right hand/arm all the way home. To summarize: I know kids are not ambitious & eager to end their workdays, but man!! Could you guys teach them to NOT just leave a customer hanging? read more

The customer service I received in the store when purchasing an appliance was great. the staff was friendly, however the delivery process has been a week from hell with Best Buy. The drivers left the appliance in the hallway and the box that it came in was found in the middle of my driveway when I got home. The lazy drivers acted as if they were doing me a favor by taking the old appliance which was a service that was paid for prior to the delivery. The didn't install the appliance as they left it in the hallway. This was also a service that was paid for, but didn't happen. After all this I still had to go to the laundromat. That was what I was trying my hardest to avoid i.e. buying a new washer. So disappointed, never going back. I should of went to Menards. read more

First I couldn't get anyone to help me at the Elyria store after standing there for 20 minutes, so I went to the Avon, Ohio store. There I at least got served quickly, but after spending $200+ on a tablet, once I get home and try to set up the free Webroot security that is included in the purchase, I find that I can't because I didn't receive the proper card or validation on my receipt. The Sales Manager Christina was a very difficult person and was yelling at one of his employees who was smoking in the back. One of the Home Theater associates was able to order me the TV I wanted, and I was very excited to go home and setup the tv. I was however disappointed with the management there, letting so many employees just play on their phones. My husband and I are very upset. We recently went to Best Buy to purchase a wall mounted T.V. and have it installed by Best Buy. We purchased the T.V. and while there we saw a T.V. stand with a connected TV mount. We were torn as to whether to buy the stand or stick to our original plans to just have Best Buy wall mount the T.V. Seeing our dilima, the salesman specifically told us that if we purchased the stand, and it did not work, Best Buy would come back out, wall mount the T.V., take away the stand, and charge us the difference between the cost of the stand and the cost for them to wall mount the T.V. That was fair enough, so $3,000 later we walked out of the store with a deal for Best Buy to set up our new T.V. on the stand that we had picked out. Several days later we decided that the T.V. did not work on the stand because it was too low. We called the store to come out and wall mount the T.V. and take the stand away. Not only were we told that it would cost almost $300 to get the wall mount, they also said that the break down of the stand and the physical return was on us. When we called the "Problems with Orders" line that we found on their website, we were told that they "didn't have anything on line to deal with this". Now, we are forced to disassemble and return the T.V. stand ourselves as well as get the TV wall mounted the way we would like. We spent $3000 in this store and no one we called bothered to try to help us at all. WE WILL NEVER SHOP AT BEST BUY AGAIN, AND WE ARE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH EVERY AGENCY WE KNOW. WE ARE ALSO MAKING SURE THAT ALL OF OUR FRIENDS KNOW ABOUT OUR HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. read more

I had the best experience at Best Buy in Avon yesterday! Holy moly did I get the best of the best in customer service. I walked in the store knowing I had a mission impossible on my hands. I stopped the first employee I could find and asked him to help me find the adapter set up for my son to be able to stream music from his phone to his older model vehicle that was equipped with a CD player and stereo. We quickly found out the car wouldn't support the models available. My black shirted CSR rep immediately said "let me find a blue shirt and make sure there isn't another option" and off he ran. He quickly returned with my blue shirted hero. He told me there is an option but it will be more expensive. I said "let's take a look." And off we went to car radios! I hadn't thought of that and man I KNOW he will love that! They were only $70-120! Woohoo! Problem solved! Bluetooth, USB ports, charging ports! FM, AM, Streaming, OH My! My new blue shirted friend said "I want to go talk to one of my installers and make sure you have exactly what you need to support this in your sons car" and off he went. He came back with our new installer friend and an armload of products, uh oh, right? Nope! He explained why each of the items he had were necessary and then offered to price match. I said you'll look it up for me and lowers the price? He said yes... my mind blown! We trekked off to the vehicle installation area and the two guys proceeded to enter sku numbers into amazon search and lowered the price point by major amounts! What would have been a purchase of $250+ with tax ended up costing $183 out the door. Thank you to all three of my new friends at Best Buy. You guys made my holiday season with your helpfulness and enthusiasm. You're the best! read more

Normally I have really good experiences there. For that, I give 3 stars. I knock 2 stars off for the Mobile guy I talked to today. I bought a Zagg screen protector recently (but more than 2 weeks) and it already cracked. He said there was nothing they could do because it's been more than two weeks. I get that but said I should have registered the screen protector on Zagg. I asked him how I would have known to do that and he told me they told me to. First, how would he know because he wasn't the person that helped me - it was a female. Second, she failed to tell me I needed to do that. I told him and he told me he didn't believe me because he knows all the people on his team tell everyone that. So, he basically called me a liar which is unappreciated. It's as if someone on his team can not make a mistake and fail to mention something. 1. I am not a liar. 2. I did not forget. All he could have said was: "I'm sorry she failed to mention that, normally we do. Unfortunately, because it's more than 2 weeks, there's nothing we can do.". NOT Well, we have a small team and I know we always tell people to register with Zagg so there's nothing I can do for you. It's not that I'm trying to say the customer is always right. But, in this instance, I was and him implying that I was incorrect based on a conversation I had with a sales person that he was not a part of is insulting and rude. read more

This review is for the third party delivery service that Best Buy uses to deliver the 2 large screen TVs that I purchased at the Avon store. First let me say that Best Buy Avon treated me very well when buying the TVs...no problems whatsoever. However, the day that the TVs were to be delivered in November, it was raining quite hard. The delivery people wanted to enter my home with their very wet and muddy shoes. I asked them to put on booties and was promptly told that Best Buy doesn't issue them. I asked why their delivery owner doesn't purchase them for them and got a very rude answer from the female person. I asked them to take off their boots and got more rude remarks from the female person. My mistake was to let them in with the TVs instead of refusing the delivery. They tracked water and mud into the home which took me about 20 minutes to clean up. I called Best Buy Avon and the delivery Manager apologized and offered to have the 3rd party delivery service call me. Well, you guessed it.....it has been 4 months and I have never received a call! read more
