This branch loses garments all the time. I dropped off a suit (blazer and pants) on a Monday, and only pants were returned to me on Friday. I went back on Saturday and was told that they couldn't find it and that the manager (who is not on site, surprise) would have to look into it. I needed the jacket for a conference abroad, which I explained and was then told that maybe the blazer is at the plant where the garments are cleaned - another surprise as we initially thought garments were cleaned on site. The young clerk did his best, but was ultimately dismissive and uncooperative, simply stating that he texted the manager and we would have to wait. I understand that things happen, and we have been patient in the past, but this is possibly the 6th time they have misplaced or forgotten one of my garments. The quality has greatly declined here over the years. I'm so disappointed and really upset. read more

Very impressed with their dry cleaning of my fancy white Oxford. So happy to use Tide. The shirt was gleaming brilliantly out of the dry clean bag. Put it on & felt like a million bucks. Just enough starch it stayed wrinkle free all night. $2.45 for shirts. I've had trouble trusting the local launderettes with my nicer clothes bc they shrink them burn them use old perc or whatever. It's been an adventure. But no more. I trust Tide Laundry they do a great job! They have a convenient service laundry bag with ur name on it, just fill it, drop & go. Handy dandy. I'll take all my stuff there. U really feel better about things in a freshly laundered shirt that fits well. 5 stars it's the cleanest shirt I've ever worn. read more

Very poor customer service at the Rocky River Tide Cleaners (20950 Center Ridge to be exact.) I brought my items in on 07/7/2023 and was told they would be ready on 07/10/2023. I called and they were not ready. I asked if I could obtain my items via kiosk, my account was set up with valid credit card, my order already charged. On 07/11/2023 I went to pick up my items via kiosk, nothing. A complaint was made because the customer service number was full. The next day I was told my order was not "run through the system" so the items were not ready. The customer service here is poor. Also, when I called to give my credit card, the girl said, let me get a pen and paper. I clarified that they would not be writing my number down, instead, put it in the computer. The people who work at the Tide Cleaners are completely unqualified to understand any apparent details. When I dropped my items off, I also asked a couple questions about dry cleaning, and the girl shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know. Yet my items were sent out. My order was finally ready on 7/18/2023. Do not go here unless you want to deal with poor customer service, lazy employees who lack attention to detail and forget to add your items to the kiosk pick up. I will definitely not be going back it's not worth it. Tide Cleaners Rocky River deserves a -5 star. Tide Cleaners claims they "set a high standard" yet the Rocky River location has failed to illustrate such values. read more

I took my comforter to be laundered. The clerk told me it would take 2 weeks. I gave her a coupon for 25% off first time customer that she read over and accepted. I called after 2 weeks because I hadn't been contacted that it was done. The clerk told me it had been done since 2 days after I had dropped it off and I should have been contacted by email, only, when I dropped it off, I was never asked for my email, only phone #. Went to pick it up and was charged $43.00. No coupon discount. I was told the fine print states no laundered household items, even though it was accepted when first dropped off. With every interaction, it was painfully obvious the desk staff could use some customer service training. Too many strikes for my first visit. Won't be back. read more

Called ahead of time for a few questions and Dionte politely answered my questions. When I showed up about 20 minutes later to drop off a suit, he explained everything to me as far as pricing, timing and even valet pickup if I decide I don't want to get out of the car. He even included a first time discount. Five stars on the great first impression! Hopefully the quality of service follows suit- pun intended. Great service! read more

I went to the new Tide Dry Cleaners in Rocky River, Ohio in March 2018. I have been a long-time Tide customer and was excited to try out the new service! We received a 50% off coupon in the mail which was also exciting. I brought my fiance's suits/dress shirts as well as a dress and suede jacket. Initially, I received wonderful customer service. The staff member helped me sign up as a new customer and explained they would contact me once my items were ready. Because my jacket was made of 100% genuine lamb leather, it needed to be sent out to be professionally cleaned. I understood that the process would take longer than the other clothing and they were going to let me know once it was ready to be picked up. I returned to pick up the clothing when it was ready. Everything looked great and I was happy about the quick return. Months passed. Honestly, I had forgotten about my jacket because you typically refrain from wearing leather in the summer. On Wednesday, June 27th, my fiance had an event that he needed his suit for the following day. I called to see if the location could dry clean his suit in less than 24 hours. Luckily, they could. I called the next day to check to see if it was ready. I found this to be a great opportunity to also question about my jacket. It had been months. I couldn't believe they didn't try to contact me. I referred to the Tide Dry Cleaners website and it says leather requires 5-10 days. This had been three months! I felt that I should ask for a discount because of the time frame. The gentleman who answered the phone was initially kind. Once I had questioned about the jacket and asked if it was ready, he said it had been there for a while. I asked why I wasn't notified and I believe that I should be given a discount for the length of time this has taken. He told me there was no email on file. I asked if my number was on file and he said yes, but their policy was to email customers and he couldn't give me a discount. I told him that no one had asked for my email when I signed up there. I was a new customer and if that is their policy then it must've been a misjudgement of the staff for not collecting my email. I asked if I could speak with a manager and he told me that he was the owner, but if I wanted to speak with a manager I could. This baffled me that this was the person who not only worked there, but was in the highest leadership position. He started to get really frustrated and finally stated, "Well Emma, what do you want me to do about this?" At this point, I didn't even care about the discount. I could not believe how rude he was speaking to a customer. My family owns a company and customer service is held at a high regard. I replied by saying, "We will just pick up the dry cleaning and that's it." He quickly got off the phone and I was stunned. When my fiance went in to pick up the clothes. The owner told him he remembered me coming in and that he, in fact, was the one who helped me. He also added that there are plenty of other dry cleaners in the area. Unbelievable! As I said before, I have bought Tide products over the years. I was impressed with the way they cleaned my clothing, but the service I received from the owner, Chip Sherman, was the worst experience I have ever had. It outweighed the result of my clothing. If I ever want to use Tide Dry Cleaners again, it will not be at the Rocky River location. read more

Two great things: First, the convenience of auto billing through my credit card - I just drive up and they take my bag of clothes and then I pick them up within a day. I never have to leave my car, which I love. Second, the incredible service I received last night from the owner, James. For some reason, the 24-hr automated pick-up access, which is so helpful when I have to get my clothes at off-hours, wasn't showing my order. It was midnight on Valentine's Day and I was leaving at 4:30 AM for the airport, and I needed my shirts! So I called the service number on the screen, James answered, then he opened the store in the middle of the night to retrieve my shirts. Despite my one brief moment of panic, James came through spectacularly and saved the day to keep Tide's history of reliable service intact. Thank you again, James. I am very grateful for what you did and I highly recommend Tide Cleaners to absolutely everyone. read more
