I have mixed feelings with this Best Buy. They highlight televisions over other products and the workers ignore the customers and prefer to chat with each other. I recently visited this store looking for a computer program. I walked all over, passed the same chatting workers 3-4 times and was never acknowledged. Scheduling an appointment for the geek squad was super easy through Apple support! I went in the store at 11am and two men warmly greeted me with smiles and jokes. the men directed me on where to go to get the back of my phone checked out since its cracked. A young woman named Natalia helped me out and was so helpful and knowledgeable! She explained everything to where I understand completely and made nice conversation. Went to the store to buy an unlocked Samsung phone. Got there around 10:50 a.m. . There are employees walking around on their phones talking to each other but no one is offering to help. I asked the person standing at the door if they could call someone and they said yes. 10 minutes pass so I go back to the greeter and said hey I'm still waiting. They greeter say just give it a minute. After almost 20 minutes I go back and say hey is someone coming and THEN I'm told there's only two salesman in the store sorry. I don't understand why this information wasn't conveyed when I first asked for a salesman. I just moved to this side of town 6 months ago and I've had nothing but problems at this specific Best Buy. I'll start with the positives: The store was clean, and the selection was pretty good. I went for headphones, and they had a variety of them for audiophiles, workers, and gamers. Did anyone show me where to find them? Heck no! The people who work in this store will actively ignore you even if you approach them. If you look closely, you can spot a tiny sign telling you to scan a QR code to get in line for service somehow. If you ask an actual person for help, they will either completely ignore you or direct you to the QR code. This approach to in-person retail boggles the mind. In an age when you can buy most electronics online, the only reason to go to a brick and mortar store is to get quality customer service and assistance. I left without buying any headphones because I couldn't even get someone to fetch the ones that I had picked out (alone) from the store room. I imagine that most Best Buys will go the way of Circuit City in the near future without much to offer in-person shoppers. I've had slightly better service at other locations though. Rude workers . I have a lifetime warranty screen protector . But now the screen protector I have lifetime warranty on is not in stores . I literally had to take off my cracked screen protector and send it in before they can send me a new one . So I been without a screen protector for almost 2 weeks . I went back after boycotting for years to buy an ipad for my daughter. The store was essentially empty with employees standing around everywhere. I was trying to get assistance when finally an employee comes up and helps me. Just kidding, she told me I had to scan a code to wait in a line that did not exist. I scanned the code, and waited 15 minutes, while the employees behaved like 12 year olds and played around the store. Two hours later and still not ready, I went into this location to check status and was told the order was processing and that it would be ready sometime today. Another 3 hours passes and I get an email from these clowns saying that my order has been cancelled and no reason was given so I decide to call the store to find out what the problem is and the wait time to speak to someone is an hour. I will never set foot inside another Best Buy and I will spread the word far and wide about this experience. I went to do a store pick up for an item I ordered online. I was in and out in less then 10 minutes. It was a great experience, and I think I may order more things online and have it shipped directly to the store. It tool a little longer to ship then I thought it should have, but that is the warehouses fault and totally not the fault of the store at all. If you go by bus, the 20 lets you off right in front of the starbucks, then walk up around that building. You will see it. read more

April 15, 2022, I had a delivery from Best Buy's third party company. This company torn up the outside of my home. I have had hell trying to contact the Sedgwick Insurance come to cover the repairs. I called the customer service over six times and my messages were not being forwarded to the insurance company. I had to go back to the store for help and the manager was very helpful. The problem is with the third party delivery company and communication with Sedgwick. I have called them five times, I have left messages with them and no return calls. I paid over $1400 cash and this included installation. Best Buy has done their part but everyone else is dropping the ball. I have sent pictures and the estimate. I went back to Best Buy and all I got was a telephone number I was previously calling. I am really unhappy and I am suppose to be an ELITE customer. Whoop! I need help. Please ask who will be making the delivery. The delivery truck doesn't have a name. I am not going to drop this complaint. I feel Best Buy needs to do more to solve my problem. I am so upset and honestly do not know why everyone isn't helping through the times we are going through. I purchased a new Surface Pro X for my daughter for school at Best Buy about a month ago. Paid a little over $1,000.00 for it. The day after I purchased it, I took it to the school so they could install everything they needed to for her school year. I received a call on Friday that I needed to take the X back and get a 7 series because the X only allows Microsoft apps. I took the Surface back to Best Buy today and they said they only have a 14 day exchange period. Moses, the manager, came over and said he would make an exception and allow an exchange but not a return BUT only on the X and not the keyboard. I told him I was fine with exchanging but I would need to exchange the keyboard as well. He said that he wouldn't allow it and was making an exception already for the X. I told him that due to Covid, everything is backed up at the schools and none of the items have been opened at all and I have the receipt, could he please help us so that my daughter could get what is needed for school. He said no and that if I am going to argue with him then he won't help me at all so do I want what he's offering or nothing?? I was soooo angry but of course my daughter needs this for school. So another guy, Chris, who was extremely helpful, showed me what was needed and got it from the back. Well guess what? It was on sale so I was able to pay $200 less for this one. BUT did I get the difference back...nope! Moses would only allow it on a Best Buy card for a store credit since it was past the 14 days. It is beyond me how people can not help during these times. I didn't just sit on it, and it's not like it's 6 months old. The school is backed up and was just now able to get it back to me. So now I sit with a brand new, never opened, keyboard that I can't use, exchange or return along with a $200+ store credit that I have no idea when I will use. I'm sure it will expire. This store has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. We shop at Best Buy all the time. The store wasn't busy at all. They were sitting around chatting yet couldn't answer the phone when we called to check if they had a product. So, we had to drive an hour all the way over there. They did have the product. One associate told me they were sold out when I got there and asked. The manager told us that the item was being held. We had to remind them that no holds we're supposed to be done for these items which numerous associates at the other locations had told us that day. I would recommend no one go to this location. This store was recently remodeled and got a lot of nice upgrades like dedicated Verizon and Sprint activation centers, more displays for connected home and mobile phones/accessories. It looks a lot cleaner, is more organized and easier to shop. Employees are hit or miss (from the ones I spoke with, mostly miss) but when you pay people barely above minimum-wage, what can you expect? read more

Now I'm in San Antonio trying to upgrade another phone but since the location on Las Vegas messed it up they will not help me. They keep trying to send me to sprint. Who when I go will not help me they try to send me back to Best Buy. Ask for a manger at Best Buy they send a shift supervisor who has no clue what is going on with the phone then ends up walking away. The sales rep flat out told me to go back to store in Las Vegas to get resolved. I asked for there Sprint rep contact Info so they can help me. But answer was "NO". We can't help you. When this BestBuy First Opened, everyone around the area was excited to go, because they didn't have to drive to North Star or Ingram anymore.. But as the time went by this store has gone to "Sh*T" Excuse my language.. But it is what it is.. Just recently I took my computer to get it fix, there was a problem w/ the registry..before I took it I tried to fix it, but couldn't unless I wanted to restore it..so I took it to the geek squad.. so I paid $200 for repairs, n one year geek squad membership for computer repairs.. Well about 4 days later they call me and say.. "We can't fix UR computer were gonna restore it" At this point I told them to wait, I went to the store and spoke with the "AGENT" of the GeekSquad and they said, we can't fix it were gonna re store it.. I said "no" "if that's the case I could restore it at Hm, cuz that's not fixing the problem, now can I have my $ back" they automatically got on the defensive side and right away said "no we don't do refunds on services" at this time I told them "I understand but you didn't service my computer, u just diagnosed it" charge me for the diagnostic, and return the difference" they immediately said "NO" again stating they don't refund services..! Again I told them y'all didn't service it, cause they just diagnosed they problem, same thing I had already figured out.. So I said "you know what if y'all don't want to refund my $ let me save my pictures on my external hard drive, and y'all restore it and what not" and they said "No u can't do that unless we take it out of the cue system and then you bring it back, and your gonna be put at the end of the line," at this time I was like wow are you serious. It was literally one folder maybe 300 MBS 2 mins of transferring.. I then asked them "well can y'all do it for me" and then restore it, and then they hit me with "Yeah we can but it's going to be and extra $100" i was like wow they got to be kidding, and I asked why? They said cause " the service membership you paid for don't cover "BackUp" at this point I was real heated, still keeping calm though, I asked to speak to the manager.. Went back n forth with the manager and explained the situation, same thing didn't really wanna refund, but he was more understanding, and came to a deal where they gave me "Store Credit" right there and then, not a gift card or anything best buy credit to use right there, so I went and grabbed a microwave paid the difference and cancelled the geek squad membership.. And went home restored my computer and what not... But It was a hassle dealing with them... THEY DONT WANT TO HELP YOU OUT ONE BIT UNLESS YOU PLEAD YOUR CASE Like IN COURT... Well anyways after going thru that I just recently called best buy, and asked them if I could return my microwave because it was a little small, I never opened it, I just it had it sitting there, because we were working on our kitchen, and then we come to find out it was too small to go over the stove... So I called them asking if I could exchange it, and they said "NO" cause it's past 15 Days... And cause I'm not a so called "Elite Plus Pro Member" where I could get 30-45 days to return something.. The customer service was lovely, they tended to my physical needs (wheelchair bound) as I was rolling around by moving some displays that were difficult to maneuver around and the three different associates who helped me were attentive to my shopping needs.
