    Came in today for electronics was completely satisfied! I received the best customer service by everyone in here, but the best of the best came from Nader!!! He was very knowledgeable about the many questions I asked regarding the tablets, they functionalities in life expect to see. I really went in just to check out the tablets but because of the customer service, I purchased a Galaxy tablet that I'm very pleased with! Nader very kind, personable, and humble. My husband located to tablet cheaper elsewhere and Nader was able to match the price immediately and check out my purchase. Only con from this establishment was the floor person (maybe manager) Jeffrey. When we moved, he moved. Didn't appreciate Jeffrey following us around! Hubby and I have a very strong work ethic w several avenues of income... a Best Buy mishap is not welcomed. The store was smaller than the Best Buys we have locally in MD but was still inviting, clutter free and had a nice variety of items. Most impressingly (that's not a word)... They were hosting a computer functionality class at the front of the main entrance that had quite a few in attendance. I thought that was awesome. I would definitely return back to this Best Buy!

    It's like every other Best Buy - cluttered, overpriced, full of sales associates eager to help with no significant useful knowledge. The strongest part of the Best Buy is probably the car upgrade center. I've had one experience with returns, it was handled fine. They carried the camouflage Snuggie last week, which is fine. They have a small Apple section, which is fine. There's a cables/small electronics/etc. recycling section now, which is nice. Now that Circuit City lost the battle for worst tech shop, it's all we have.

In August of 2025, my wife and I bought several kitchen appliances from the now defunct Morehead City location. Once we finished our kitchen renovations, we scheduled delivery. We found out the staff that sold us the appliances left. We were given a contact and ended up getting our appliances delivered in October of 2025. Right off the bat, I realized the installers were inexperienced and lacked attention to detail. They dropped the microwave right on my brand new quartz countertop (thankfully just left a smudge that wiped off), drug the dishwasher on my flooring, without having any regard for my home. The kicker is that they drug the refrigerator up my deck using a dolly, smacking each step one at a time. Lastly, as they maneuvered the fridge inside, they drug/scraped my newly built deck by dragging the dolly sideways with the fridge, damaging several portions of composite decking. They were not able to install the low-profile above the range microwave and they told me they would find another unit that would fit... I was told explicitly they would call me the following business day. They never called, but rather someone from the store/one of the installers called me almost a week later to ask "how the installation went".... Um hello? Either way I made them aware of how badly the installation went and how I was not called with a replacement microwave. At this point my wife & I got in touch with a manager (also now no longer with The Appliances Superstore). The manager had no idea about what took place and assured us everything would be taken care of. Specifically, he attempted to make arrangements to meet us at the property. However, it never happened due to scheduling issues (we live full-time in central VA). As of now , March 2026. I AM STILL WAITING ON A REFUND!. And the owner refuses to help me at all with any damage done to my property. The kicker for me is that the owner is an Instructor at the ECU School of Business and has deplorable communication & business practices. So if you are needing appliances in the Eastern NC area, be sure to get your appliances from Lowe's or Home Depot instead.

I ran into an issue that was beyond my expertise so I called to get some assistance. spoke to 2 different Ryan's the first day and they promised me that the tech would call me back shortly. With buisness at a stand still, no call back! called the next morning and actually got someone named Chris on the phone. I explained what was going on and he told me the techs were not in for at least another hour, but he would mark it priority for them to call me back. 3 hours went by, buisness still greatly crippled by the issue with the computer, and no call. Frustrated, I called Best Buy. One 45 minute call and we were back up and running again at full capacity. If you have a problem with your pc, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS GROUP OF INCOMPETENT PEOPLE!! Oh, by the way, they NEVER CALLED BACK AT ALL!!! Forgotten about and neglected when my Buisness and livelihood were on the line! I took the phone first to Best Buy. The gentleman there told me that he could not authenticate the battery so he suggested that I contact Apple to get their recommendation. I contacted Apple and Apple told me to take the iPhone to university PC, the Apple representative scheduled me an appointment with University PC and they would have it repaired well when I got there a young man was helping me. He asked another representative for help who was working with another gentleman at the end of the counter a question about my phone as he and I talked. The other representative said you're gonna have to pay to get this phone fixed for that battery because Apple doesn't pay for battery I told him excuse me Apple sent me there and they said they would have the battery replaced besides I have AppleCare on the phone . He then said well you won't have to pay for the battery but if you want this phone fix you're gonna have to leave it right now. I asked him what am I supposed to do without a phone? He said not his problem so I told him that wasn't gonna happen because Apple said they would fix the battery and I told him that was not going to working Apple said they would replace the phone if I could not get it fixed there so now Apple is going to replace my new phone with another new phone. Right now I'm feeling some kinda way about my last visit I called Apple and explained what had happened and why I couldn't leave my phone in that place. Apple representative apologized for the situation ( which she didn't have to, but it made things lighter, it was appreciated) she said she understood and they would make the arrangement to exchange my phone . Anyway the first representative I started with he did try. To him thank you for trying to put things at ease.
