I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING remotely good to say about this location and their employees. SPECIFICALLY THE GEEK SQUAD!!!! I came in around 3 weeks ago with water damage to my computer i bought not even a month ago from best buy. I bought apple care immediately after purchasing my computer as I would for any other device. Apparently my apple care did not cover water damage or literally any bs these people were saying we're wrong with my computer. I went on the Apple website to see if I could just send it in because I do not like this best buy store, even before this happened. Anyways, there wasn't an option for me to send it over myself so I had to make an appointment with the Geek Squad at Best Buy. I go for my appointment and they tell me the Geek Squad person to help me is not there and I need to come back later. Okay already off to a bad start. I came back later the next day and they said they needed to run a diagnostic. The guy goes to the back to make sure everything is good to run the diagnostic and this guy comes out and says "we don't have any chargers I am going to need you to bring you're charger back tomorrow." Are you fucking kidding me.. You are a Best Buy store and you can't get a fucking computer charger??? A family member of mine went to go drop off the computer and charger and the guy opened the computer and it was magically working again. Great okay so they say that I should just come back if it stops working again because it's a long process to send it to apple. I get home, the computer isn't working. Wow everyone act surprised! I go back and then the guy proceeds to tell me that it isn't water damage and it was a problem with the operating system of my computer?? Who tf knows. I proceed to tell him I have never had anything wrong with the computer, it is 100% a water damage problem. 5 minutes later he opens my computer again and proceeds to say "It looks like someone deleted you're hard drive and Apple doesn't cover that." First of all, NO ONE deleted anything. This guy was deadass just lying to my face at this point. So I finally get them to run the diagnostic and they said they have to send it to Apple. Yea we already knew that. Okay perfect so now I will just be waiting for my computer to come back from Apple and be fixed. So obviously that didn't happen, I waited 3 weeks with absolutely NOTHING fixed. They said they called the number on the file (THAT WE SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL BY THE WAY!) and they didn't even call the number on the file, OR the number we told them to call. We never got anything that said my computer was ready because these employees are absolute idiots. I go and pick it up just for them to say it doesn't work and they needed an extra payment to cover the apple care fee that apparently I don't have. They then proceeded to say they couldn't do anything about it because they couldn't get in contact with us. ARE YOU DUMB?. We gave them. not one BUT TWO different numbers to contact and their dumb ass couldn't even contact one?? These employees have NO idea what they are doing whatsoever. Not to mention, I had to pay over $200 just for them to do absolutely nothing. Those people working there currently need to get fired Immediately. specifically the man with the red long hair. He clearly had no fucking clue what he was talking about. I mean seriously.. where the hell are they getting these terrible employees???? DO NOT GO TO THIS BEST BUY IF YOU NEED TECH SUPPORT. They will take your money, give absolutely no help, and waste hours of your time. Literally go anywhere else but here, it's absolutely ridiculous how embarrassing these service was here. read more

don't know the guys name but whoever works at the Apple repair counter needs to be fired. Came in on 7/4/25 needing my phone screen fixed, guy barely spoke a word to me, went to the back with my phone for a whole 2 minutes told me with my Apple Care it was gonna be $250 for my cracked screen to be fixed and the Face ID unit need to be replaced and there was water damaged. A cracked screen replacement is $30. Told me I would have better luck going to Raleigh. then when I sat to call the Raleigh store I was also gonna purchase an adapter and he pushed it off the counter. Told him I was gonna try my luck with Raleigh and he just said okay and walked away. Went to Raleigh and they said none of that was true and I paid $30 for the replacement. He is trying to scam young women because he thinks we don't know any better. NEVER go there. just go to Raleigh. read more

Another customer comes up after I've been standing there maybe 3 minutes and this customer is approached right away. I took my items and walked out of the store. I placed an order in store for items that were hard to find, limited stock and will never get them back in. Went to pick up more order and it was gone. Waited for almost an hour for the associate to tell me an associate sold them yesterday. Asked for the manager name tag said "T". Seemed like I bothered her, said we don't have your order and all I can do is give you a refund and small store credit. I was very nice through the whole thing so not sure why she was rude to me. I bought my very first Nintendo Switch from Best Buy last Christmas. I am a newbie and had to have a worker help me pick everything out. Well the case he grabbed was for a Lite so I asked him if he was sure it would fit the one I got which was not a Lite. That might sound like a dumb question but like I said, I am completely new to video games of any kind. I figured I should trust the Best Buy that (you would think) knows what he's talking about. Guess what??? It didn't fit. And they wouldn't let me return it so I wasted $20! Might not be much to some people but it's half a tank of gas for me. It's dinner. Its good for my cats. Unbelievable. My partner, a front line medical worker who happens to be Latino, was trying to get help in the computer department. Our home computer needed a battery. After waiting quite awhile and frustrated, he started to open a box to see if the battery was comparable. IMMEDIATELY a team member was at his side, being quite condescending and blatantly racist. "Do you speak English?! You cannot open boxes." My partner, wearing about N95 mask, responded that indeed he did speak English and had been waiting for help. This team member said "we are short staffed and you will have to wait. I'm in the middle of something." "But you are here now, can you answer my question?" The African American team member said "I thought you said you understood English? I'm busy." And walked away. Shocking. PS I've received a call from a manager who was quite apologetic and said this behavior went against their zero tolerance policy. She was able to identify the employee and I was assured the matter would be addressed appropriately. read more

Came in today for electronics was completely satisfied! I received the best customer service by everyone in here, but the best of the best came from Nader!!! He was very knowledgeable about the many questions I asked regarding the tablets, they functionalities in life expect to see. I really went in just to check out the tablets but because of the customer service, I purchased a Galaxy tablet that I'm very pleased with! Nader very kind, personable, and humble. My husband located to tablet cheaper elsewhere and Nader was able to match the price immediately and check out my purchase. Only con from this establishment was the floor person (maybe manager) Jeffrey. When we moved, he moved. Didn't appreciate Jeffrey following us around! Hubby and I have a very strong work ethic w several avenues of income... a Best Buy mishap is not welcomed. The store was smaller than the Best Buys we have locally in MD but was still inviting, clutter free and had a nice variety of items. Most impressingly (that's not a word)... They were hosting a computer functionality class at the front of the main entrance that had quite a few in attendance. I thought that was awesome. Bought a 72" 4K TV on 5/27 & brought home. Sales Rep said that it would be installed the next day. Figured I would have 4K then. Installers came and went but I had no 4K. Called and was told that another crew would have to come before we had 4K. They came and went, ran a cable but no 4K. Called back and they said that I would have to change the carrier for our subscription to satellite Tv. Did that. And was scheduled for installers to hook up 4K in 2 days. And they will there between 12-4 pm. They never showed up. So we rescheduled. They didn't show. I called the store and they said no order was created. Long story short...I sat at home for 7 afternoons waiting for my 4k to be installed. Called the store and was told different things by different employees. Either no order created or they just didn't show. Bought it on 5/27 and got 4K on 7/1. read more

It's like every other Best Buy - cluttered, overpriced, full of sales associates eager to help with no significant useful knowledge. The strongest part of the Best Buy is probably the car upgrade center. I've had one experience with returns, it was handled fine. They carried the camouflage Snuggie last week, which is fine. They have a small Apple section, which is fine. There's a cables/small electronics/etc. recycling section now, which is nice. Now that Circuit City lost the battle for worst tech shop, it's all we have. read more

It is my advise that you stay as far away from this store location as possible. This Best Buy has the worst service of any one I've ever been to. I purchased a car radio from here because they offered free installation. I confirmed an installation time before I purchased. After having paid for the radio, was told I'd have to pay for installation. I went to customer service, which told me that the cashier was supposed to have put in the installation with the purchase so I could get it for free. They had to refund the radio and have me repurchase it so I could get the free install --- however, was told that the original install time I was given could not be done because it did not allow for enough time so I had to take an install time that was several days later. Was also told that the installer would tell me on that date if I needed to purchase any additional parts/wiring. On the day of my installation, we came in and was told by the installer that they didn't have all of the parts in stock that was needed and so we would have to reschedule for a later date --- three weeks later. The manager ordered the additional parts that I needed and rescheduled my installation. Fast forward three weeks to my new install date... I called before traveling there to confirm the amount of time that the install would take and the installer told me that I was not on the schedule to have an install done. Due to the trouble that we had been having, he agreed to stay late and install for us anyway, and thus told us to come on. After we got there and the install was close to being finished, was told that the free install only covered the actual radio itself and there was an extra charge for any additional items that they had to install. Furthermore was also told that the backup camera that came factory installed could not be hooked up to the new radio, and thus we lost that feature which came with the vehicle. Unfortunately, after the install was finished and we were driving home, we discovered that the install was not performed correctly. According to the info on the radio screen, it tells us that a wire was not hooked up properly and so some of the features won't work correctly. Half of the steering wheel controls no longer work either. In addition, we have no reception on the satellite radio -- apparently (according to Sirius) the antenna was incorrectly installed. read more

The salesperson didn't even know what kind of charger was in the box, did not offer to show the phone features, or speaker sound to us. We had to purchase it, bring it home to find out it would not work for her. Now I have to take it back and PAY a restocking fee because they wouldn't help like they should have. read more

The entire experience is very poor. They truly don't understand customer service. It took a very long time just to get in the store. They stop each person just to ask them why they're shopping there. Took forever to check out and there was only one other person in line. Ridiculously short return policy. There are shorter store hours - it's very hard to get there during the work week. Was just on hold for more than twenty minutes to speak to a manager. Spoke to four different people who gave me a different story each time. The last woman said I could return the item to the warehouse but there is no guarantee my card would be credited. What is that? read more

We like the store it looks organized and clean the only one problem that we could find one person to assist us the two employees was rude stood around no one offered help . We was surprisingly impressed to met Mr Kym he was offer to help us . He was very nice helpful and friendly , his knowledge is was stunning and professional. Went into Best Buy to do some research on cancelling my cable. The service here was impeccable. After dealing with horrible customer service this morning, I was not in a good mood. But Tom at the Greenville store turned my mood around. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, patient and kind. He was honest in trying to sell me the best product for me - inquiring about my use and needs. Great employee!!! The only reason I gave the store a 4 instead of a 5 is that the prices are a little high. If I can't find the items I am interested in online, I will come back and purchase here. read more

Geek squad. I've tried to use them 3 times. 1st was a computer problem after $150 they told me to buy a new computer. I got a second opinion for $38 from a different service facility. 3 years later I still have the same computer. 2nd, I paid $100 to have them come out and program a home entertainment system. Their programming never worked and they would not return any of my calls. 3rd and final, bought a router that as I was told included home installation. Actually it included phone help (I use the term loosely) 6 hours on the phone which included 3 disconnects and hours of on hold, they said it sucks to be me, they cannot fix the problem. I did 10 min. of internet searching, found a setting that required changing, now I have a router installed. I will buy from best buy but SCREAM to all out there, STAY AWAY FROM GEEK SQUAD!!! read more

They used to be so great years ago because I could come here and get all kinds of music CDs here. They had more selection and had about 3 or 4 rows. Now, they hardly have a music section. They completely abandoned it and not only that, they don't have what you want. They used to have rare music, for example, Linkin Park's rare underground music used to be sold here. In fact, I can't even get a regular album most of the time because they don't have all of them. If you look at an artist, you may find that they have one, two, or maybe three of their CDs. They just for some reason decided to downgrade their store for the worse. Also, they're starting to suffer with games. read more

I asked to speak to manager and employee was rude and told me "gladly". He put me on hold and never got the manager. The only reason they got one star because I couldn't give none. I went in on the Black Friday deals for the new 58" insignia doorbuster. We went for the first wave and missed the ticket giveaway for it. My wife and I went in anyway and the store associate told us to come back at 8 and they'll be open to the public without a ticket. So we went back at 7:20 and waited. I waited at the back and my wife at the front of the store. I saw the TVs roll out and I followed them to the front where I was able to put my hands on them. But only to be told that those first 2 TVs belong to the two gentlemen(who by the way walked up in front of everyone) who've been here the longest. So when the pushing started and they formed a line, we missed ours. Not fair if it's a "first come first serve basis". I called the store manager today and guess what they told me? "It was their call and sorry you didn't get one". I asked can you do anything because I felt that was unfair. He said "sorry but we have other fantastic deals". We hung up. I've been a big fan of Best Buy because we got our first tv and blu ray player from here and they still work. This was unacceptable and unfair and I will not be back to this Best Buy under any circumstances. read more

Our organization has purchased several computers from this store and have received incredible customer support. When we ended up with a certain computer that had problems they worked hard to exhaust all options and well into the process completely replaced our purchase when the problem could not be resolved with no questions asked.
