The store today was extremely hot and humid. I was informed that the a/c was broken in store by an associate. Best Buy should not at all have customers let alone, employees in the building with temperatures over 90°F in store. Walking towards the home theater department, the temperature was extremely uncomfortable and an unfortunate employee was seen working inventory to the shelves. I seen so many associates beaming sweat and looking faintly bc of the temperature. TERRIBLE! I just purchased a deep freezer from this location and picked it up on 12/22/2019. My husband couldn't wait until Christmas so he opened it on 12/24/2019 & plugged it in. This deep freezer isn't even getting cold. We have it time to see if it would take a few days...still nothing. I called the Store number and was on hold for 28 Minutes before the call when dead. I went to this location after seeing on their website, an HP laptop originally priced at $1699, open-box available for $995 ($704 in savings). When i get there, the laptop screen isn't coming on. Thankfully they decided to show me the computer before i purchased it. This was no big deal. The big deal was, the lady behind the counter trying to sell me laptops that are priced at $800-$900, repeating "look! this one is a good deal!" Woman, you know damn well that $700 discount was the MOST intriguing, most valuable item in the ENTIRE store. Posted one star only because zero was unavailable. Paid $3300 for a Forno range only to have it arrive damaged. Disheartening but not a big deal. Call their overseas customer service call center only to be put on hold for 30 minutes then hung up on. That happened 4 times before I got frustrated and gave up. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Everything for your home entertainment needs and also for the tech junkie. Employees I have encountered have always been nice and helpful. I recently bought a new big screen tv and pestered the sales dude with questions for about two hours before checking out. Not once did he get fed up with me and try to pawn me off on another sales dude. Selections have always been decent. I usually check the website for item availability before I head out to the store and only once have they not had an item that the site said was in stock. If you're one of those people that still buys CD's, you may find the back catalog a little lacking though. New releases are more prevalent. For you Apple fanboys, they seem to have a big selection of Apple products. I'm not an Apple groupie so I can't tell if they should have more Apple items or not, but it seems pretty large to me. read more

I went in to get an adapter for my sound system, they told me I had to wear a mask I told them I cant because of health issues, The lady at the door informed me that nobody will help me then, so I went in to find what I needed by myself and talk to two staff members that told me they cant talk to me unless I have a mask on , I was at least 15 feet away and I asked them if they could at least tell me where the spot is so I can find it myself, they refused to help me and said they cant help me because Im not wearing a mask, I got angry because they wouldnt even at least point out where I could look for myself! I have been to this location of Best Buy, as well as the New Orleans location with one hope in mind. Buying a camera battery for my Cannon. I have always made sure to bring my camera in store, as to limit confusion. I have spent 50 dollars In search. Each time the batteries don't work, or aren't the right size. I have returned charger after charger and see no end in sight. As a minor I had no real idea how difficult Best Buy was. I am extremely disappointed. On my last return a was greeted promptly and a worker made sure to order me the correct model in time for back to school. When I got it in the mail I was ecstatic, finally the search was no more... DONT BUY PHONES FROM HERE!!! I purchased Samsung GS6 from here, and was sold on the Verizon edge plan. The problem? You are supposed to turn in a working phone to qualify for the plan, which the sales rep failed to explain to me. In fact, I explained to them prior to buying my phone that my phone was destroyed. Yet they sold me the phone, and then a month later I get hit by Verizon for $340 bill for the phone. I called the store, and the manager was "busy." I called Verizon, and they said call Best Buy. I call Best Buy's 1-800 number, and they said go to the Verizon store. This has been a nightmare, and still hasnt been resolved, after multiple phone calls, long wait times, and the biggest run around ever. I just walked out of Best Buy located at Hammond Square Mall. I walked up to the counter with one of those empty security boxes to purchase a pair of Bose earbuds. After waiting for one of the three employees at the electronic counter, finally someone asked if they could help me. I gave them the box so they could retrieve the item. No less than ten employees running around. Only one seem to be helping a customer. Well some guy named Rob was called for over their radios to come help me. He must be some sort of God because he is the only one that could help in the entire store. Apparently he didn't have time. After waiting.... I gave up and walked out. I'm going to Target now. Overall the service wasn't bad. Only issue we had was the knowledge of the device we wanted and had questions about. We went home to research it on our own. I just feel that you should have some knowledge ab the products your selling and if not you should offer to do some product research or comparisons. They didn't have the item we wanted initially, told us what stores did have it. So I guess that's a plus. Wasn't very helpful! Fingers crossed the product is worth it. read more

This store location is highly Recommended, I walked in and got professional help at couple different departments from different employees. They all were knowledgeable about the products and they did not push for selling something I did not need! I just wish they were not sold out on the mac-book I wanted! I placed an order online for a rather expensive item (a pair of gaming headphones) around 2pm, for curb-side delivery. According to the email, my pickup was scheduled for an hour later that very day and I would be notified when it was ready for delivery - perfect, I live 40 minutes away - more than enough time. I arrived at the location at about 3:20pm; I still had not received an email, so I decided to wait in my car for about 40 minutes. When I still had not received an email, I decided to call and see if perhaps I could just come inside and grab the item myself. I was greeted by an accented woman who I asked if it would be okay if I came in to grab my purchased item, as opposed to curb side service. She said it was completely fine, then proceeded to ask me my name, as well as the item I had ordered and told me to walk through the doors and come to the right to the customer service/online pickup area. I get to the online pickup area and wait in line to be greeted by the same, familiar accented voice in the guise of an older woman with glasses and her hair in a ponytail (descriptors are only relevant because I didn't catch her name). I tell her I had just spoken to her on the phone was was here to pick up my item. To my dismay, her reply was "well, your item isn't ready yet" and my reply being "oh okay, well you didn't say that over the phone." She then replied with "well I hadn't checked your order when we were on the phone." I was baffled because what was the point of her asking my name and product order over the phone if she had no intention of checking? So I ask her if she could please check the status of my order, as I lived quite far from town and didn't have much time to be there. She proceeded to call on her headset, asking if anyone had an order under my last name. After a few seconds of silence, she just shrugged her shoulders at me and said "we'll try to get this settled ASAP". I've worked in the service/retail industry for 7+ years, so my patience and understanding is unusually high and I'm very sympathetic to the job, so I said it was fine and I would wait. After 30 minutes of waiting near the counter and the same woman walking past me multiple times without so much as a word, I grew tired and decided to go wait in my car in the curbside parking. As another 25 minutes passed, I watched multiple people pull up beside me and the same woman come out multiple times to deliver their orders; at this point I began to grow irritated. Eventually she approached my car saying "still no email?" to which I replied and exasperated "no." Her only reply being "I'm sorry" and again shrugging her shoulders. "What time do you guys close again?", I asked. "6 o'clock" she replied, and then walked away from my car. At that point it was almost 5pm. I decided to wait until 5:30 to see if I would receive any email confirmation. When I received nothing, I went inside with 30 minutes until close and got back in line. A line of two other people formed behind me as I patiently waited for her to acknowledge me. When we finally locked eyes, she again asked me if I had received an email to which I replied "no, but my pick up is scheduled for today, and you close in 30 minutes." She once again called into her microphone, appeared to have received no answer, shrugged her shoulders and proceeded to go and answer the phone. After that point, she called the two people behind me to the front of the line to help them, having them cut me and completely disregarding that I was still in need of service. The gentleman behind me even said "he was here first" to which she replied "it doesn't matter, his order isn't ready". By this point I was past irritated and to the point of complete anger. I had been more than patient, waiting at the location for almost 2 hours. "Is there a manger I can speak to?" I said, to which her wordless reply was simply a finger pointing me to the direction of a ponytailed blonde woman at the entrance. I walked up to her and explained my situation. She seemed appalled that I had been waiting for 2 hours for my order, and proceeded to tell me that curbside usually only takes about 20 minutes. She looked up my order, and explained to me that there must have been a "lag in the system" and that's why the status of my order was still incomplete. She called over the headset and asked an employee to bring the item up front; we then cancelled my initial online order and I just purchased it in store. I understand that technology isn't always reliable, and I in no way fault the manager or the warehouse staff; however I completely fault the rude woman who blatantly disregarded my order, ignored me multiple times to service customers who came after me, and gave absolutely no effort in seeing that I was taken care of. I would hope that some form of action would be taken for her behavior or at the very least, she be retrained in proper customer skills that she so clearly seems to be lacking. read more

Brought my car in today to have a radio installed. We worked with a man named Adam and we could not have been more pleased. Adam was professional but personable and fun to chat with while he wired up the radio. He even took the time to reset the security code that had been set on the radio that I had forgotten. He was a big help to us and we will definitely return here for any car radio needs! This is about on par with most other locations. Staff is there if you need help, attentive but not overly bearing. The store has always appeared stocked and clean. This store does carry some Apple products, like the desktops but does not carry any of their laptop line like Mac Book Pro. read more
