Came here to buy a laptop meant for coding . Was greeted when entered. Went straight to geek squad because I wanted to see if they could give recommendations. A lady in plain clothes and a man were there talking to each other . Couldn't tell if they worked there or not but they were by the register. Legit stood there for 10 mins and no one acknowledged me. I politely asked if there was anyone here who could help and the lady said I'm helping this man very rudely. I asked if there was someone else who can help she said no rudely . I asked if a manager was around she said she was one . Bought an iPad Friday evening. The following day I saw it on Amazon for $70 less. We were assured Best Buy would price match. I went in and so began the circus of "run around". Stay here, I'll get a manager, manager didn't show. Ok, go stand by these computers and ask for a manager. Stood & stood till I finally saw a sales person & asked her to call for a manager. Manager showed up and said he couldn't price match to Amazon Prime. I told him it wasn't a special Prime price. He argued with me and said no he can't do it. A young sales man showed up to ask manager a question and the manager asked him about Prime. Young sales guy said "yes, that's the price, she's not logged in. Seriously, Best Buy is acting like they would love to become Amazon and have 0 interaction with customers. During the COVID store closing they have customers line up outside which was fine. But they had a pop up tent where no Best Buy associate was sitting but people standing in the sign were also not allowed to stand. Now you can walk into the store and play the crappy associate game. This is where an associate sees you, knows you need help but will do everything to avoid eye contact and ignore you hoping you won't ruin their day by asking for help. I'm pretty sure as I am standing I t be store right now employees outnumber customers and 4 of them have walked by my area but I have only seen them coming and then they disappear before I can track them down. There is nobody to assist you, I wanted to buy something and everybody was either on their phone or just walking around. Worst place ever.

DO NOT shop at this location! Zero customer service or common sense. Ordered an item under my Bestbuy account, my wife paid for it with her card as a birthday gift. They notified me (not her) that it was ready for pickup. I went to pick it up, and even though it's my account, listed under my purchases, my phone number, notified my cell via text, and even with both wife and I listed under "Friends and Family" as pickup persons, they refused to let me pick it up. I then logged in, right in front of them, while they watched, since it was under my account, and added myself as primary pickup person. Doing that created a new order number, and when I showed them they said it wasn't ready for pickup? With the item paid for and sitting there in front of them no less, but because I added myself as primary they didn't even know if they had it in stock anymore because the one they had was listed ONLY for my wife to pickup (which was not true, it only showed her as paying for it with her card) and now that I changed primary pickup person even she could not pick it up? All this coming from the "manager"? When I said I would just cancel and order on Amazon, the response "oh ok, that would be fine, we would be glad to cancel the order for you" Ummm ok, so I can cancel the order, change primary pickup, both wife and I listed under "friends and family" yet now no one can pickup the order? I hope the store manager reads this, as I'm sure my business won't make or break them, but it might make a difference to this location and the store managers bonus program if this is the kind of resources they hire as associates and managers, not able to see what's going on, happier to see you cancel and order and go somewhere else. I'm now closing my Bestbuy accounts, and credit account via Citybank, and will NEVER buy anything from Bestbuy again. BEST BUY DELIVERY CHAMPS Ok originally this wasn't going to be a happy review because the crew missed my 8am - noon window. I called the store @ 11:54 a.m. to begin getting status updates. I received an order confirmation via text for a scheduled delivery. Leslie,BB CSR, said it was scheduled then would notify someone of delay and gave me a number that continued to drop the call. She told me there was no delivery manager to contact but would contact drivers and call me back. She did and said they were delayed and should be another hour. Drivers called my husband who calls and gives me update. When they arrive, I'm looking for Best Buy Uniforms through my peephole. Instead they were wearing a contract vendor logo uniform and identified themselves. Delivery wiped their feet; entered my home to scope the place out; and inspected the refrigerator water line and cautioned placement of some nearby bookshelf items in the pathway of the new frig. My irritation melted because I hadn't realized that several items would have been damaged. Our old frig was already pulled out and unplugged for ease and convenience. Our car was parked in our driveway closest to the door. He said it's not in the way as he adjusted his fabric commercial shoulder strap harness. I moved it over anyway. My new frig was unpacked on the sidewalk in front of my house in the drizzling rain. They carefully removed each piece of packing material and placed it inside of the carton. It felt like white glove service. The other crew member put on his straps as well. Let's not stop there. NO DOLLEY WAS USED!!!! THEY HOISTED MY FRIG OFF THE SIDEWALK AND NEVER LET IT TOUCH THE GROUND!!!!!! He had to remove my front door to keep from damaging it. It was a seamless installation!!!! One suggestion for any delivery companies--- a window is just an estimate. If a driver recognizes he won't make those windows they should contact dispatch to notify customers of delays. This was my second stop, yesterday, as I was trying to find a wiring harness for the new car radio I received for Christmas. The car stereo area consists of two or three small areas near the back of the store. My 8 y.o. son and I searched part numbers for the part I needed, evening using the computer near the huge window leading to the car stereo installation bay, but it was just confusing and fruitless. We looked into the installation bay and noticed an older, Caucasian guy, in a grey, Best Buy work shirt, assisting - what seemed to be an older Caucasian man - with his car. The glass door to the bay was open and I peeked in, making eye contact with the installation tech, to let him know that I was there for assistance. My son and I stood near the open door for a few minutes and then started looking at the radio and speakers that were on the wall, in clear view of the counter area inside the bay, where we could see the customer paying for the service. Now, I can tell that the installation tech was avoiding eye contact, as he continued his conversation with the customer. I mean, he never even came to the door to ask if I needed assistance. We'd been there for almost 15 minutes. Here's the capper...as the installation tech walked back towards the car....as we were staying at the window, as he passed the open glass door and was out of my peripheral for just a second...the door closes! I look in and the strap that was used to hold the door was still moving. This strap could have only been removed, manually. If it had come loose by itself, why did the tech not rush over and resecure it? Why did he act as if he didn't even know it closed, when he is standing three feet from it? He didn't even look in my direction when it closed, even as I stepped directly in front of the door. I didn't bother confronting the guy and just chose to leave. I mentioned his actions to a female Best Buy rep on my way out. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Took my laptop, which was purchased at this location a few years ago, into Best Buy's Geek Squad to be diagnosed and repaired the afternoon of 2/4/2021. The tech insisted I needed to purchase a $200 service plan, which included many items I did not need, such as virus protection (I already have Norton). He also said that the repair would take 4-5 days, unless there was a hardware issue, in which case my laptop would likely need to be sent to an outside service center, which would cost extra and take longer. No estimate on either until they diagnosed the issue. After 2 days I called for a status and received conflicting reports about whether they had even been able to back up my data. Then shortly after a tech called to ask if I would bring in the power cord because they didn't have an adapter to fit my laptop. This was information I should have been given when I checked it in, 48 hours previously! I took them the cord and within 24 hours a tech called to say that the laptop had passed all diagnostics and they found nothing wrong. But when I went to pick it up I learned that they hadn't performed any of the other items in the $200 Service Plan because they weren't identified on the work order. This was a complete SCAM!!! Other stores may have better service, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND the Geek Squad at Copperfield. Extremely poor customer service. read more

I was told I would get a $300 for the compensation, but two hours later got an email stating all they can offer is 10% which is $90. If your customers care team would take a look into the account they would see how much I spent on appliances at Best Buy. Giving me a $90 compensation is like throwing money at a beggar. Given my latest experience here, I can't say that I'll be back for a very long time. The layout was awful and nearly impossible to navigate. Coming to this store is like walking into a maze. The Blu-ray section is the worst, we spent over forty minutes trying to find a movie with the help of two employees who verified that the film had multiple copies in-stock. It was new movie, but they didn't put it with the new releases and we couldn't find it in the main section. One of the employees suggested that it could be in the bargain bin, but neither employee knew where that was and we couldn't find it either. The employees tried their best to help, but they admitted that they've had problems navigating the layout themselves. Other than that, the only good thing I can say about this location is that they have a somewhat larger movie selection than some of the other Best Buy stores I've been to. This isn't the first time I've experienced problems like this at this location and it's really discouraging to see that things have only gotten worse. We made our purchase just before close of business and she stayed an hour after close to complete our transaction. I am a retail snob and I can tell you that this is some of the absolute best service you will find! The prices here were competitive and Becki and Raul worked extra hard to match prices an ensure we got the best bang for our buck. We spent a ton of time doing research and if would have just come to Becki in the first place we would have saved a ton of time. We bought a washer/dryer and a refrigerator.
