The employees here are SOOOOO much more professional and friendly compared to the NLR location. A lot cleaner here as well. The few times my family and I have come here or I am here by myself, maybe 3 minutes pass until an employee notices and asks if I need help/if anyone has helped me. They seems to have a better working atmosphere at this location because I noticed a lot of the employees interacting with each other a lot more. Careful if you enter using the entrance on the Chenal side of the building (where geek squad installation is). I always notice people speeding towards the exit here and cut the corner too fast! read more

This was one of the worst retail experiences I've had, and after this, I have no intention of spending another dollar at this Best Buy. I went into the store looking for advice on prebuilt gaming PCs with specific components. Instead of getting recommendations or speaking with someone who actually understood the products, the employee simply read the specifications off the display cards. I was already capable of reading the cards myself. The entire reason I asked an employee was because I expected them to provide knowledge beyond what was already printed on the shelf. If your sales staff can't answer basic questions about the products they're selling, what's the point? The refund process has been just as disappointing. I canceled my purchase after changing my mind and was told the money would be returned within 5-7 business days. That timeframe has passed, and my money is still tied up. It's unacceptable to leave customers waiting on hundreds of dollars longer than the promised window with little to no communication. Trying to get help online was an even bigger waste of time. I sat waiting for over an hour for customer support, only to walk away without any meaningful assistance. In the end, I was effectively told the issue would have to be handled through my bank anyway. If that's the only solution, why waste customers' time with a support system that doesn't actually resolve anything? After reading other reviews, it's easy to understand why this location has such a poor rating. The lack of knowledgeable employees, poor customer service, and frustrating refund process make for an experience that's hard to recommend. On top of that, it feels like the biggest priority is getting customers to sign up for a Best Buy credit card rather than providing actual service or expertise. This experience completely destroyed my confidence in shopping here. From now on, I'll be spending my money with local computer stores or online retailers like Amazon, where I can at least expect better service and a smoother buying experience. I purchased a tv with sound bar, etc., for a total cost of appx.$2,300.00 on June 7 and set delivery/set up for June 16. I was in the today, June 15, and went in to confirm my delivery date. I finally found a person that wasn't on there and ask if they would check. I was informed the delivery had been rescheduled, however, I wasn't notified that it had been rescheduled. I asked the clerk to please cancel my order. No one was going to notify me so I would have been at home all day waiting. You cannot talk to anyone on the phone except an AI generated . While the young man was canceling my order and crediting my card, another female agent came up, started snuggling with and talking to him. The young man was obviously and I said, "excuse me we're in the middle of a transaction here.". I have never been so embarrassed. First off, I had to walk around to find a sales person and I managed to buy the dryer. Delivery should not be an option if you have to wait a week to receive the item you purchases, especially when you live 2 blocks away. Then they called and rescheduled for the week AFTER that. They don't include the electrical cord with the dryer, you have to buy that separate and they charge you to haul away an item that they will take to a scrap yard and get paid for. I will buy more locally next time and not from a big chain. They offered no incentive after they cancelled the delivery date and are making me wait another week to receive something I purchased. I mean really???? You only have ONE person that can deliver and set up? It's a freakin dryer, not rocket science. One more week of going to the laundrymat thanks to them. I purchased a new laptop in Jan2025 and was very satisfied with the overall sales process. The sales guy did a great job describing the differences between the laptops and helped me find the perfect unit. I give this part of the rating 5 stars. I also purchased the My Best Buy Support option since I wanted to use the Geek Squad to help set it the new computer and transfer my data. Rather than bore you with all the details I will outline my recommendations to Best Buy. 1 - Honor your appointments. Don't make people with appointments wait in the same line with people who don't. I had to wait 30 minutes even though I had an appointment. If you just love lines make a second one for people with appointments. 2 - Setup a separate line or counter for pickup. Don't make people wanting to pick up a repaired device wait in line with people who are seeking help. My pickup took all of 1 minute at the desk but I was forced to wait 40 minutes for my turn. 3 - Don't try to do the repair in real time while others are waiting in line. Often it took 10-15 minutes to serve a single customer which just aggravated issues 1 & 2 above. Finally the overall value of the service was questionable. They really didn't do much to setup the new computer. They deleted the bogus software most manufacturers load to sell you stuff and ported over my files. They also loaded the Chrome browser but didn't bother to port over the settings, favorites, or password file from the old computer. That's it . So big whoop. They didn't bother trying to port over any other applications, do any core configurations, setup system security or do anything else of real value. You'll be forced to do most of this on your own (assuming you have computer skills). Bottom line don't waste your time with these guys. A bad experience (twice) with a poorly managed organization. Ordered an item for next day delivery. Got a message that it was out for delivery. Late in the day, I got a message saying they had received my returned item and issued a refund. No explanation, nothing, Contacted online chat, they said it was most likely damaged. I should have been contacted to ask what I wanted, rather than them just returning and refunding. At the very least, I should have been offered a discount on the very same item for the hassle. I don't know how many times I've had trouble with Best Buy's services. Ordered 98" TV w/mount + installation service. First day of scheduled install NOTHING! Rescheduled 2nd day for install and driver could not find a whole big warehouse building despite several people seeing the truck drive right past it. Best Buy employee entered the wrong contact number, so no one was contacted and the ticket was closed! Rescheduled a 3rd time and finally got the delivery and installation done. Was told I had to call customer service back for compensation... after 2 disconnected calls ~20+mins wait time each, I finally got to speak with someone on the 3rd call that offered a $45 gift card, BUT I would have to call back yet again the following day because the warehouse still had not closed the order more than 29hrs after the fact. Needless to say, I'm beyond frustrated with this overall experience. It is nothing like I remember Best Buy a few years back when I would spend hours in a store browsing each department. When you actually earned reward points WITHOUT having to apply for their credit card that I absolutely do not want or need! Extended warranty does not always last for the entire time period of purchase. I purchased a 4-year warranty and had to replace item just a little over a year later. Once item is replaced warranty is voided/cancelled. Period. So I paid for 4 years and only got 1 year of coverage. BestBuy also wanted me to pay for replacement item (quite pricey) before I received it. Worked out for delivery/exchange but BestBuy was a no-show even though I waited around for the entire 8 hour delivery window! read more

It took them about two and a half years and 20 visits to complete the installation of the home theater (projector, screen, ,,,) !! And when they forgot to do something they would charge $322.00 to come back and do what they forgot!! Even if it takes five minutes to do. If you had them install for you and they put your projector on a sidewall 45 degrees to the screen you've lost resolution and have a distorted image and did not get the benefit of whatever your components were capable of. This was all done to make it easier on the installer. And you end up getting an inferior installation that's not anywhere close to professional. The lack of knowledge and competence is truly amazing to witness. And very sad. And apparently the store managers don't care when repeatedly made aware. I was repeatedly told to order the wrong products. Wrong receivers without enough inputs for the speakers. Wrong Projector screen that could not be adjusted for how far it comes down. Not enough speakers. Protector put on the ceiling in the line of sight from the couch to the screen. It had to be moved and the hole was left in the ceiling. The projector screen that could not be adjusted for how far came down was just left that way when it was clearly wrong. The projector screen material was heated with hair dryers on different visits and damaged beyond repair more than twice and had to be replaced. read more

Ordered a dryer, scheduled the delivery a week out. Scheduled my entire weekend around that delivery. Got an email the night before that the delivery would be between 12-2 that Sunday. It never came. By 6 I called, and they had no idea why it never came, they rescheduled for Tuesday. Tuesday they came and said they would set it up for free as an inconvenience, but then said they couldn't because I didn't buy the $70 of additional parts NECESSARY to get the $525 dryer to work (the power cord and exhaust vent, parts I can get for $15 at a hardware store). They wouldn't even complete set up to the point of not plugging it into the wall. That was a Mac Pro 16 i9 2019, Brother Printer, Seagate One Touch external back up hard drive, and a HDMI Cable. Along with all the warranty cost for the major items. On December 10, I noticed Best Buy was selling the same Mac Pro from 2299.99 to 1999.99. I called the price match number several times over several days with negative results. I was informed they denied me because I received a Bundle. I said what bundle? I paid everything at full price. The only freebies I received was their 3 months Apple TV, 6 months of Apple Music, and 6 months of Apple News. I have had several Macs and never used their services. If they call this a Bundle, then every new Apple Mac or iMac sold receives this. If that's a Bundle - they can keep it. What I should of done was to bring my unopened Mac Pro 16 back to Best Buy, and purchased the the same one at a lower price 1999.99. DO NOT TRUST BEST BUY WHEN IT COMES TO PRICE MATCH. I went to this location today to get a new iPhone. I'd been without a phone at all for a few days and I was pretty desperate. Jackson Morris, one of the associates, walked me through the entire process and helped me find the right fit for me. I never felt pressured to spend more than I was comfortable with and in the end I got exactly the device I wanted. I bought a 75" Sony tv in June of this year, today it messed up and was flashing red lights at the bottom. So I tried calling the Best Buy where I bought it several times and could never talk to a live person. So I googled what the tv was doing and tried all of the things it suggested and still didn't work. So I called Sony help desk and they walked me through the same steps and it still didn't work so they told me to call the Best Buy store again where I bought it while I was on hold I drove the 35 minutes to the store while on hold. I showed the team member my phone and that was on hold she told me the calls don't come to their location. Anyway she pulled up my purchase and said I didn't buy the extended warranty ( my fault I thought I had) so she have me a 1-800 geek squad number and they would take care of me since it was still covered under the manufacture warranty since it wasn't even 6 months old. So I called that number she gave me and they told me I would have to call Sony so asked her for the number and she told me she didn't know it. I could have bought the same TV from Amazon a little cheaper but chose to shop at the nearest brick and mortar store (Best Buy). They could have been more helpful on getting my problem handled and they didn't. Now I have to figure out who to contact at Sony. Which looks like they are closed until Monday. read more
