This was the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. Making a long story somewhat short, my phone battery stopped working unless plugged in. I made an appointment "to get it fixed" I thought! The "earliest appointment " was two days later.Took it in and was told that appointment was to have it looked at on the same day and leave it over night. Knowing I could still use my phone, I decided to make another appointment: the only availability was two days later. Ok, made that appointment; so far 4 days without a properly working phone, but WITH Geek Squad appointments!! I show up and I'm told they are going to take my phone in some secluded place and leave it with a bunch of other phones for 4 more hours!! In this day and age? I cannot believe they cannot schedule an appointment within a few days to fix a battery on a phone-unacceptable! This business is run by incompetent, inconsiderate, rude employees who have no empathy. if you have an Apple, go to the Apple Store in Victoria Gardens. If you have an Android take your phone ANYWHERE except here...ask some high school kid to look at it or try YouTube; better than this place! read more

Not only do they maintain numerous partnerships with various companies within their stores, but they have also significantly expanded their online marketplace. First of all, Ralph was awesome! I came in looking for a house camera system and Ralph was super helpful and PATIENT with me because I really didn't know anything about them. I really didn't want the cheapest on the market, because it's my house, so he took the time, listened to me, and guided me in the direction I needed to go with a new RING system. Thank you very much. The disappointing thing was when I set up auto-pay. I called the CC department of Best Buy and (long story short) they told me that funds would be deducted every month, for 12 months for their promotional 12 month 0% interest program, and CONTINUE to be deducted until I called to cancel! What the heck! They would continue charging me even if the balance was zero! I have never heard of such a thing. I just payed it off in full, because I like to just set it and forget it. 5 stars for the actual physical store, because of Ralph, but zero stars for their CC division. read more

My husband has purchased all of our major appliances and electronics from Best Buy over the years -- cameras, home security systems, refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, dryer, and more. Most recently, he saved for a long time to surprise me with a top-of-the-line Samsung Bespoke refrigerator, stove, and microwave bundle, the most expensive set they offer. Unfortunately, shortly after the first year, the the microwave failed. I contacted Best Buy expecting support, especially since we purchased a two-year warranty. I was then told the warranty did not renew after the first year due to an error with the card -- an issue that was not our fault. Despite this, Best Buy denied the warranty, refused to repair the appliances, and made no effort to resolve the issue. I was unable to get meaningful help, and no one ever contacted me back. I even emailed corporate and received no response at all. After being a loyal customer for years and spending thousands of dollars, this was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Best Buy completely failed to stand behind their products or their warranties. I reached out directly to Samsung, and they were professional, apologetic, and actually willing to help -- which speaks volumes compared to Best Buy's lack of accountability. Because of this experience, we will never shop at Best Buy again. I strongly caution others: don't shop at this Best Buy -- and honestly, don't shop at any Best Buy at all. read more

We ended up almost leaving but Andrew A found us and explained all of our options and helped us find the perfect projector. We had a terrible experience tonight at the Best Buy in Riverside off Canyon Springs Pkwy. My husband and I came in to purchase an iPad for my 11-year-old. We asked a gentleman named Sebastian for assistance and inquired about iPads in the $350-$400 range. Unfortunately, he responded with a condescending attitude, repeatedly saying, "LIKE I SAID," and trying to make us feel foolish for asking questions. I understand it's close to closing time, but as someone in customer service, I believe it's important to remain courteous and helpful, regardless of the time of day. When we discussed iPad covers, Sebastian asked if we needed a "stylist." I thought he was referring to a cover, but he sharply corrected me, saying, "NO, a pen," with clear attitude. I told him there was no need for the attitude, as we were simply asking questions, and thankfully, his demeanor improved afterward. I work in customer service, and this was an example of poor customer service. It's essential to treat customers with respect and kindness, regardless of the situation. I usually don't complain but he was so rude to not just my husband but to me. He looked liked he hated his job. I personally work with the public and this is not how you treat people. read more

I went into this Best Buy to return about $90 worth of products, and to buy a $350 Netgear router. The store refused my return because the return policy had expired by seven days. I informed the cashier that I intend to purchase a router for $350 if she would accept my return for store credit, but if not I would purchase my items on Amazon where I can get it cheaper. I bought a Samsung TV from here 12/2/22. The TV stopped working July 2023. I called Samsung customer service due to it being less than a year from purchase date, it's still under manufacturers warranty. Samsung authorized Best Buy to exchange my tv under Samsungs manufacture warranty. I called Best Buy customer service three separate times. The first time, the girl was assisting me with my exchange, we got disconnected and she never called me back. I called again and spoke with a different person, we were almost done with the transaction and I was told their systems just went down and he'd call me back once their systems were working again to complete the transaction or I can take my tv to the Best Buy where I purchase the tv and exchange it. A day goes by, I called again! Of course I speak to someone else because there's no way to get the same rep. This lady takes all my information down, reference number and everything then asked 'To be clear, you bought a tv in December and haven't received it yet?' I hung up because why on Gods green earth would I wait 8 months to call about a missing delivery?! At this point I'm done with Best Buy customer service over the phone so now I'm going to the store. Today 9/2/23 I go into this Moreno Valley location as instructed by Samsung customer service and Best Buy customer service. I am being 'helped' buy some guy who claims to be the manager. He wasn't wearing a name tag and I didn't get his name (I should have) But he was not helpful at all. I explain my situation gave him my reference number and email I received from their exchange team. At this point I know it's about to be a problem because he disregarded all of that and didn't want to see it. All he kept saying is it's under (Best Buy warranty) and they'll have to send it out for repair. I explained AGAIN that Samsung authorized Best Buy to exchange the tv under manufacturers warranty. And the email I received from Best Buy stated I would receive a replacement or store credit. The 'manager' told me I was miss informed and that's not how they do it. So again, I offer to show him the email I received from their exchange team. He then says 'that's not from best buy' I showed him the email address that clearly came from Best Buy and it was signed 'With warmest regards, Best Buy Exchange Team' He basically called me a liar and refused to honor their email. I even had Samsung customer service call Best Buy's customer service and Best Buy told Samsung that all I needed was the reference number for an exchange. I've been a loyal Best Buy customer for years, but after this weekend's nightmare with Geek Squad, I'm seriously done. On Saturday, I had a 1 PM appointment at the Moreno Valley Canyon Springs store to get my iPhone battery replaced. I waited over an hour and a half, only to be told the tech who could do it was leaving soon. reschedule or drive to Riverside. Fine, I booked at Riverside, drove there, waited another 45 minutes, and then they said it wouldn't be done until 8 PM (closing time). So, I rescheduled back at Moreno Valley for Sunday. Show up Sunday, and guess what? Their iPhone tech doesn't even work Sundays or Mondays! Why on earth did the system let me book these appointments if they couldn't actually do the job? My time is valuable, and this wasted my entire weekend with my family, plus gas money driving back and forth isn't cheap. Total incompetence from start to finish - no apologies, no real help, just more runaround. I'm beyond frustrated and expect some compensation, like a big discount on the repair or reimbursement for my hassle. As it stands, I won't be back to Best Buy or Geek Squad anytime soon. I've always had a good experience there. Just bought a new computer yesterday and brought in my laptop to have Geek Squad transfer everything over. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable. They are always very busy so you have to be patient and understand that it looks like they're trying to help everyone that comes in. I've used Geek Squad several times but they sometimes send people from other stores. I was told there's a bigger store in San Bernardino with a large stereo section with a sound room so that would be good to check out if you're looking to buy a sound system. read more

When you call for help you get transfered to Philipines, India and when they transfer to to someone that was said to be able to help you the new conections tells you who you need to be connected to this department? I was on the phone for an hour trying to get a refund for an antivirus that was sold to me that was the wrong one. The person said it was a renewable yearly subscription and it was not. After being transfered six times to what was suppost to be the refunds department and yet another "who I can't help you let me transfter you to.... I hung up. Today, we ordered an Open-Box Excellent condition LG 65-inch C2 TV on the Best Buy website. When we drove from Rancho Cucamonga to the Best Buy in Moreno Valley to pick up the item, an employee brought out the TV without a box. It was wrapped in plastic bubble packaging. We repeatedly asked the employee is the TV came with the stand and remote control, as we couldn't believe that the stand and remote control would be inside the plastic bubble packaging without a proper box. We even asked the employee one more time, making sure that all the accessories were included, because we had driven 30 minutes from Rancho Cucamonga and didn't want to make the trip in vain. We were prepared to return the TV tomorrow if something was missing, as it would inconvenience us a lot. However, the employee assured us that since it was in excellent condition, all accessories would be included just like new. Unfortunately, when we got home and opened the packaging, we were shocked to find only the TV inside - no stand and no remote control. I can't express how disappointing this service experience has been. We're extremely angry because we realized that the packaging didn't seem suitable to contain both the stand and the remote control with the TV. The stand is quite large, and it's easy for it to damage the screen if packed together. Despite our repeated inquiries, the employee still deceived us. This kind of service attitude is truly repulsive and leaves us feeling utterly disappointed.In the end, I want to advise everyone looking to purchase products at Best Buy to be cautious and not believe everything the staff says, especially when it comes to open-box items. I bought a "geek squad certified" Nintendo switch online for a friends birthday. It arrived on time, but without any of the switch controllers (which were advertised as included) or the advertised game. I brought it to the Best Buy at Moreno Valley, hoping to get a replacement, or just the controllers. They assured me that the switch was definitely supposed to come with controllers, and they would be happy to refund me, since they did not have any replacements. The alternative, per the manager, was to try my luck at ordering another certified refurbished one online, as if it was a game of luck. Apparently "geek squad certified" means nothing. Pretty disappointing service, would not recommend. At least I got my money back, which I took to GameStop across the street--they were very attentive and had everything I wanted in stock! Went to Best Buy for Memorial Day dale on appliances. The sales personnel were so nice and informative. They really knew a lot about each of the appliances I wanted to purchase. I was really happy to buy an appliance package. I received and extra discount for buying this package and also no Interest financing. During the purchase, the salesperson arranged delivery. On the day of delivery, the installers were so nice and knowledgeable. They were careful on the installation and I was so happy to get rid of the old appliances as well. Thanks Bear Buy. I have frequented your store several times and have had the same experience with one particular employee or in this case security guard. He has followed me around the store several times. This was bold because he had witnessed me speaking with an employee moments before. He then asked me if I needed help. Being that I was in the store for maybe 5 minutes and already spoke to a few employees this was uncalled for. I entered the store with my girlfriend to find a Roku or possibly by a new tv. I had a good conversation with an employee and looked behind me and here is this security guard staring at me. I recognized this guy and walked to a different area and here he is again pretending to look at items. I left and to shop around and came back an hour later. This guy follows me again. As I left this guy comes out of the store and stares at my car as if to profile me again. It makes the shopping experience painful and I left feeling racially profiled. Maybe its easier to identify being profiled and followed because I was a security guard while in college and as a secondary job at target. His tactics are blatantly racist and a form of intimidation. Besides, why the hell do you have an armed guard prancing around like he is a cop inside of a store. Banks don't even have this level of security. No other stores carrying high ticket items in the area have armed guards. There is no need for a paramilitary wannabe in Best Buy. read more
