I called Summerhill Appliance and spoke with Dan about a water leak in my refrigerator and the problem I was having removing the dispenser cover. He explained how to remove the cover and gave me a part number to fix the leak. The cover was being difficult and not wanting to break it I scheduled a service call. Dan showed up right on time and had my refrigerator repaired in 30 minutes He also unclogged the drain hole that was causing ice buildup on the freezer bottom. He said he been using them since 2004. The Service was excellent. Dan said he would be there between 9-11 he was there by 9:30. He had the problem diagnosed with in 20 minutes gave me my at my estimate. Once he had fixed the problem he called me back and told me that he had found another problem while repairing it but he fix that problem too but he didn't charge me any more than initial estimate. As a three-time customer, I would call NO ONE other than Dan and Summerhill Appliance. Rapid response. Quality service. Reasonable charges. Absolutely pleased! We have called on Dan Summers three times in the past year or so for various household appliances that have broken after years of service. First was the oven; a quickly replaced sensor and Dan was in and out in under an hour. Second was the clothes dryer; a replaced tumbler belt and a total clean out (I mean the filthy dryer was taken apart, cleaned and replaced) and Dan spent about two hours. Third was the refrigerator: a door display showing both cooling sections OFF (I cringed thinking of the cost of a computer chip or, forbid the thought, a new refrigerator!) Dan called back, talked me through a reset combination,and everything was great again. Total time on the phone? Perhaps two minutes - no charge! read more
