    Service technician came to service my Viking Appliance. Claims parts and service is no longer…read moreavailable due to age. I called Viking directly and was able to order the parts directly from the company. Mr Appliance charged me a diagnosis fee, just to tell me they will not be ordering parts because they are sold out world wide/not available due to age of the stove. I strongly do not recommend Mr. appliance , the only reason I contacted them because Viking listed them as the only repair certified technician for the area. I contacted Viking directly and let them know that Mr. appliance of Ocala needs to have their certification revisited or reevaluated. I've tried to call Mr. appliance to speak to a manager or supervisor to ask for a refund or some type of compensation because I wanted my stove fixed based on what Viking put as a reputable repair service business , Mr. appliance refuse to repair due to not being able to order parts. I ordered OEM parts directly from Viking, there was no valid reason not to service my stove. At the time of this writing, I am still waiting for a manager or supervisor to explain to me how I am able to order OEM parts, but their service technician claim the company cannot. I have my invoice with the technician notes , including my invoice for parts purchased from Viking Directly.

    I ordered an Ilve 48 inch custom propane stove in March and paid in full. Ray Swab was the…read moreassociate that handled my order. I ordered in March because the stove comes from Italy and takes 3+ months to arrive. I received a call 9 weeks later stating that the order had never been placed and that they were placing it now. It was for a new construction home and I was on the contractor's predicted deadline. They offered a loaner basic stove for install so that I could close on my house. The stove arrived and was installed by my contractor while I was out of the country. I later received an additional invoice for a conversion kit because they got a natural gas unit instead of a propane unit that I ordered. I was not notified by Setzers nor asked about accepting a nautral gas stove and using an LP conversion. They charged me for the LP conversion. I spent over $10,000. And they wanted additional funds for an error that was not my fault. I asked for Setzers to write off the additional fees due to their company error. When I pointed out the multiple errors, Ray Swab further insulted me rather than providing appropriate customer service when I asked for the additional fee to be absorbed by Setzers since it was not my error (actually multiple errors). He implied it was my fault since the contractor was not quite ready for install upon its arrival and had to wait 2 weeks (I can only provide as accurate information on timelines as I'm given by the contractor.) Buyer beware. I felt like my experience was extremely disappointing and severely lacking in customer service. Take your hard earned money elsewhere as they've proven they don't value it here. I chose to order the rest of my appliances elsewhere after their poor handling of and lack of appreciation for my order, time, and money.
