Is it possible to give a store negative stars? My old laptop died. Bought a new one. Left it with Best Buy's Geek Squad for what was promised to be a four-day turnaround. Now a few hours short of a full week, so I showed up at the store to get it before I leave town in the morning. They advertise that they will recycle your old tv . Then after buying on black Friday was told inventory was so big for the holidays there was no room to recycle wait till after the holidays. Today called to check if they were recycling the person that answered said yes bring it in and asked the size I said 55 inches. what kind of store gives a 15 day warranty on items? I recieved a ps5 as a gift, in the middle of a move. the item was not even unpacked from its original box for the first 20 days. Once I was settled in, I got to unpack and connect the ps5 to the tv. Within a minute of starting the ps5, the fan kicked in very loudly and shut off automatically. Keep in mind this is 3 weeks after I have received my gift, and it hasnt even been unpacked. I tried to start it again, and the same thing happened; the fan loudly kicked in and the device shut off. I took it in to the store 36 hours later, and I was told that I need to contact the manufacturer. and that the item will not be accepted by the store. I will never go back to a best buy again. there are other stores with much better service. With this type of service, you guys wont be around for too long. read more

Today I went to Best Buy to buy a Yubico. The first employee said they didn't have any, but a moment later he brought one over and said it was the last one. I found it hard to believe there was only one left in the entire store. So I went to ask for help. A guy working in the Geek Squad area told me he'd never heard of it. Worried my English pronunciation might be off, I showed him "Yubico" written on a piece of paper. He still said the same thing. I was shocked. How could someone like that work at Best Buy and be in charge of the Geek Squad area? Did the two of them, or even the entire electronics department, conspire not to sell me this product? literally THE WORST service!! DO NOT PAY for any total rewards membership. the geek squad service is terrible. Make a note that if you want to make an appointment, you have to go to the department in which you need service. So for instance, if you need to schedule a set up for home electronics like TV, etc. then you have to go in to the Home TV theater section. We got in line to schedule a geek squad appointment in the geek squad line up at the front and after waiting in line, they sent us to the registers which was a long line even though we were not purchasing purchasing anything. They made us get in line anyway and after a long wait the cashier at the front told us that we were supposed to go back to Home electronics to schedule our appointment since we need a TV set up appointment. Nobody knows anything. We went up to the front to see if they can tell us where to go to just make an appointment instead of having to wait in line with everyone else who was making a purchase and asked the customer service representative who greets you when you come in. She knew nothing directed us to the cashier as well. you would think that if you're upfront asking how you can help that you would be able to give the right information and direct customers to the right place and not be sending them all around the store. We basically went to every department and register anybody in Blue basically to ask where we can simply make an appointment because online was also giving us some issues. The pick up station also directed us to the checkout lines. Nobody wants to help you. in the end, that was how we found out that you actually have to go to the department where you need Service to schedule your appointment. Reminder the cashier in the front does not make the appointment for you if you need Home electronics. If you don't have at least an hour to waste. but definitely do not come into this location thinking that you are going to get proper service and be in and out. Really don't want to pile on Best Buy, one of the few remaining brick and mortar stores that's barely hanging on to existence. But why oh why have they decided to close its entire return/exchange department and pivot it over to the checkout area? So now, you have cashiers, who are already small in number, having to do exchanges and returns in addition to their retail duties. This has caused the single line to the registers to pile up for transactions that should take a matter of minutes. Yikes! read more

Good size store with a lot going on, keep in mind they are trying to promote ordering online and doing store pickups but you can still go into the store and shop like normal. My advice would be to not ever try and call them on the phone because they will never answer their phones. You will literally wait on hold for as long as you're willing to wait. Trust me, I have experienced this more than a few times so save yourself any emotional distress and just go to the store. Manager is friendly as well as the staff are eager to help you. I had a disappointing experience at your store. I found it difficult to find a salesperson somebody did approach my dad who has dementia initially, but by the time I returned to my dad, they were gone. I asked another staff member for help with a TV, but he never came back. I overheard someone telling him he could go home, then was told someone else would assist me .. no one did. After nearly 20 minutes of trying to get help, one staff member -- an Asian gentleman whose name I didn't catch -- finally stepped in and was very helpful. Unfortunately, he was the only one who showed any professionalism. I ordered a 75 inch TV and selected pick up at store. _After_ I placed the order, it provided me with information about what size car is needed to pick up at the store (not before!). Well, you can't lay the TV flat in the SUV, so it wouldn't fit upright. I called Best Buy and got an automated menu and was told that I had to use the web site to modify the order for delivery. On the web site, of course, the modification for delivery was grayed out. So I called, and after being transferred to three different people (and waiting on the phone a half-hour) I was finally able to get it changed to home delivery. read more

Convenient location with plenty of parking! I bought my laptop here (right when Covid hit and we had to work from home). I came in recently to pick up and item I ordered online and the process was so quick and efficient! He checked the order number and my ID and i got my product and was out! Now the box was damaged (ninja blender) but it was just the top and he told me I have 14 days to return if I need to. Overall, I have had good experienced here and no complaints. read more

Horrible attitude. Just awful. Bought 2 laptops here 4 years ago, and they tell me nothing can be done to fix them. Just trash them and get something new. I can't believe we bought 2 laptops here 4 years ago. Never ever again. I'll pay more, but somewhere else. First, they suggested I get a Geek Squad appointment, which you have to schedule for a specific day and time. Once you come to the appointment, you find out that just for diagnostics, you have to pay $100 per machine, and this does not include actually fixing anything. How horrible is that?! They should disclose this before the appointment is made so the consumer has the chance to make an informed decision about whether they need the appointment in the first place. To make an appointment, they ask for your ID, address, cell number, and email. To remove your personal data, you have to call an 800 number, as they won't remove it in the store. Huge waste of time. Terrible service. High prices and a misleading, deceptive way of dealing with customers. If there is anyone there who cares to help me, call me at 323-825-3742. Stay away from this store. Hands Down is the worst experience I have ever had with a retail store. The pictures are of the "professional install" I paid them to do. They left all the wires showing and when I asked about the it, the employee said "if you don't like it, you can have someone else do it". I asked for a manager and they told me there wasn't one. I contacted customer service, who said they would have a manager call me. No one called me. I had to repeatedly call customer service, who said they would have another tech redo the install correctly. I arrive for the services and they tell me they can not do the service based on my vehicle. Iaskedk for a refund and was told no. Iaskedk for a manage, and they brought me a supervisor who looked me right in the eye and said I could not have a refund because they did install it. I sai, Look at all the wires, you're telling me that is acceptable? He said there was nothing he could do. I asked for the store managers name and the district managers name so I could follow up. They told me they are not allowed to give me their managers' names but someone would call me. I left and called customer service. After a few days of customer service calls with no follow-up on their end, I finally got a customer service rep who connected me to another in store supervisor. He asked me why I wanted to speak to the district manager. I told him a refund. He said a refund? Did my team remove everything since they installed it. I said no, all the wires are still hanging there if he would like to see them. At that point, it made sense to him to contact his District Manager to call me. Bought a $5,000+ projector and had Best Buy mount it on the ceiling after being told that meant they would handle any warranty problems. Two years later the Epson projector died, and Best Buy said "bring it into the store" and we will process the warranty claim. "The Geek Squad no longer installs TV projectors." This is the local Best Buy in town. I've been coming here for years. One of my friends from high school used to work here as well so this store is near and dear to me. Things have changed a bit since then but they've adapted with the times. Everything is very well organized and labeled clearly so you know which department you're going to and there tends to be a decent number of team members that are working here. So you've got somebody to ask questions to in case you need something answered. I remember coming out here during the holiday season and it was always kind of busy in a good way. For my most recent trip, I had to return something so I went directly to the customer service side which is to the immediate right of the main door. The team member there was very friendly and was very quick process. Great store that's still around especially if you need something right away or if you're looking for items that are tangible and comparing different models of things. There is a lot of parking here in this plaza but they can get a little bit hectic. Drive slowly just in case and be mindful of the other cars and pedestrians. read more

There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. While I was here doing some shopping in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: In this shopping center, there are plenty of parking spots, so you don't have to worry about parking at all. Prepandemic parking was a breeze. I never really worried about parking except during the holiday season. Black Friday parking can be a pain. But during the pandemic, there are a lot of spots available. The spots are pretty big and wide. You don't have to worry about people dinging your car. Store: The store here is well organized, tidy, clean, and neat. The aisles are a bit wide. Everything is placed in a manner that makes sense. Curbside pick up is available if you choose to order online. Staff: The staff here are very nice and helpful. I was able to return my product within 5 minutes upon entering the store. read more

Show up at the store and they did not have them but they were happy to sell me something at twice the price. I bought a Breville oven for $400 and the box came with a huge dent on the side. Clearly the box had been dropped in a big way. After getting home and setting it up, the fan sounded like a lawn mower. I brought it back the next day and repurchased the same thing at a lower price from Crate and Barrel.
