This is the only Dollar Tree in my area. It's also not really my favorite because of the parking. First of all, the parking lot is narrow. Second, even though it has a dedicated lot, it can still be hard to find parking at all. Luckily, there is a limited amount of street parking available. Lastly, when you try to leave the parking lot, the street parking limits your visibility of the oncoming traffic, which moves very fast because it's a wide street. So it's quite dangerous. The store itself is just okay. Sometimes the shelves are not well stocked. It can have long lines occasionally, and they don't seem to open another cashier when that happens. read more

I've received bad service from this location before but I come simply because of its proximity to me. But I'll be searching for a different location. I received bad service this morning, at around 10:20 am from Flor. She has been rude in the past but today it was so blatant. Not only did she not greet me, with a good morning, look at me or even speak before she started ringing me up (but customers After me, right behind me next in line, she did speak, "Good Morning", etc.), when I asked her if she was going to bag my purchases, she said 'No' because I brought my own bag. If I had paid for one of their bags, then she would bag them. Really? When I was handing her my cash payment, I had to ask her if she was going to take it because she was ignoring me, while my hand is handing her the money On a past visit, this same Flor, was having a conversation with a friend of hers, right in front of my face, while ringing people up at the register, talking about if her friends job was hiring and to try to get her in at that job. I want to make sure to get this yelp review out. She was even rude to the person that was delivering sodas. Store is 4 star. The parking lot is shaped like an L. If you don't find a spot, you proceed, and turn left. Then, if it is full, you need to make a 3 point turn to turn around and exit. If you have my luck, there will be a large delivery truck at the rear, making it harder to escape. my mom and i recently went to this location and we were very concerned when we overheard a female hispanic cashier (didnt catch her name) asking for money to the customer she was charging and you could see the customer felt uncomfortable . i understand times are hard but there is a time and a place and it's very weird to hear that especially at a work place. definitely something to consider when shopping there. read more

This DT has really fallen in quality, cleanliness and customer service! It's horrible right now! The staff are so rude, they literally just sit around eating snacks and leave the aisles either empty or lined with boxes to be stocked and snap at you if you all them a question or ask to open another register. This store usually has nice and helpful employees. Went to buy some supplies for my son's project. I was waiting in line for over 10 minutes and finally they opened up another register. There were so many people waiting that when they announced the next person in line, you couldn't even get to the line because it was so crowded. Adam saw me still waiting with my son and didn't say anything. Waited another 5+ min and then he looked at me and said he wasn't going to help me and that I should have moved faster and pushed my way to the front of the other line. He was beyond rude and disrespectful. Not even sure why they employ people who are a disgrace. I then had to go get in another line and wait again. One of the best Dollar Trees I've been to in years! My mom is a retired teacher and she relied on good Dollar Trees to stock her classroom every year. I went looking for supplies to fill a few backpacks for foster kids and they had such a great supply of name brand and super cool items. I even found great stuff for our family: better priced cat treats, frozen pizzas etc. A great place to save money as grocery prices continue to rise. Excited to return! read more

Stopped by dollar tree to get some packaging tape. There is a small lot on the side and a few spots on the street. Upon walking to the front of the store, there was garbage and trash everywhere. Most likely due to the strong winds we had last night and during the day. It made the store look messy and dirty. When I entered there was a line of 5 people for one cashier and the place had a weird smell to it. I couldn't put my finger on what it was. I just quickly grabbed what I needed and went to the line. Thank goodness another line opened up as more people needed to pay for their items. This place is called dollar tree but majority of the items are $1.25 prior to tax. A bit sad, but I guess not everything can be $1 anymore with inflation. read more

She made me get out of the line I was in and go to the END of her line when there was already 3 people in line NEVER telling me to get in front. A couple of other unhealthy issues management permits to take place inside the store, specifically on the bench next to the doors, needs to be addressed. Pros: 1. There are a lot of things that I need where it costs a LOT more elsewhere but is only one or two bucks here. Great for getting your gifts ready including the basics (gift bags/labels/ribbon) and also gift packaging enhancements (e.g. there was this reindeer headband that was perfect to wrap around the gift AND double as a festive headband to wear) - or you can toss in a few extra items inexpensively and my friends tell me that they see/feel and appreciate that extra effort in their gift. 2. She approached me and asked if I needed help, she ended up showing me different products they carried that would be useful for the occasion. I feel like this one is a little smaller than the other Dollar Tree stores I've been too. I come here mainly for the helium balloons and to fulfill teachers' school supplies requests. I found a bunch of marijuana testing kits during my last trip there, which I found extremely amusing (see photo). There is a large amount of homeless people both inside and outside the store, shopping and sitting around outside the entrance. But there is a large homeless population in that part of Pasadena, so it's really no surprise. The store is almost always empty. It just has a lonely feel to it. I really like this Dollar Tree in Pasadena. The store is pretty big and the aisles are nice and full. I have come across items out of place here and there but it's a store - what do you expect? Just like in any other store, people will grab things and just put them down instead of where the items were picked up. As you probably already know, everything is $1. If you're feeling creative, there are so many different DIY tutorials online with common Dollar Tree products if you want to do some crafting. There are also a lot of everyday items that you can snag for just $1 - party supplies, school supplies, toys, kitchen items, cleaning supplies, beauty, storage, food, etc. There is a private parking lot. Although the lot is small, I have never had trouble finding a spot. The outside make the store seem a bit rundown but there is a great selection inside so don't let that deter you! read more

OK, in general, I just love dollar stores, cuz... well, everything is a dollar! But I had to leave this review because: 1- I came in early one morning, and there were a bunch of employees actually resorting and organizing EVERYTHING, I mean all those toys that are scattered everywhere and on a bunch of different hooks... I was just impressed that they do these thankless sisyphean task of cleaning all that stuff up. Kudos, thank you, you're awesome. 2- I came in once to do a return with receipt (they do exchanges), and they were nice and helpful, but behind me there was a couple giving the employees a super hard time about returning items they didn't have receipts for that they couldn't find in the computer, and it was all kinds of craziness. And I was super impressed that the first employee kept his cool, stayed polite and professional, tried his best, and then moved it up to his manager when things weren't going anywhere. The manager stepped in and worked things out as best possible, all while staying very patient and polite. Days like that are rough, but those guys did a commendable job keeping up a good attitude. 3- In general, every time I come asking for something specific and random, the employees have been super nice about helping me or directing me to the right spot. Every Dollar Tree I've ever been in has been clean and organized. I LOVE the deals. Amazing place. I came to this location this morning about 10:00 and I was shocked at how filthy it was. The floors were unswept, toys and product were strewn here and there. The floor didn't look like it had been mopped in weeks. I used the restroom and it was much worse than the worst filling station bathroom I've been in. This location is really a bad reflection of Dollar Tree. I am so surprised with this store... First- this dollar tree is SUPER clean and neat. When I first walked in tje store iwas really suprised to how clean and organized tgis location is. The floors are shiny and no odor. The shopoing carts and shopping baskets are all really clean as well. I was able to place my son in the shopping cart seat wothout being grossed out. Second- Staff was friendly. The cashier that checked us out was very nice and polite. Third- The merchandise selection was fairly decent. Happy shopping!! read more

The Dollar Tree is my place to go for hot cheetos or as it's sometimes known in the Rio Grande Valley, "jachiros." They carry xxxtra, fries, not extra, and puffs. Why pay the extra .29 cents or so when you can just get it for a dollar? My first trip to this Dollar Tree location was a huge disappointment! I went there to look for flowers and the only ones they had were pointsettias... Other than that... I will say that the floorspace is a lot larger than the one in City of Industry/Walnut, unless this one just doesn't have as much product on the floors? I do miss the first one I used to go to, I felt like it had way more stuff to look at/find.
